Description of Work: Brenda was great. She helped me get rid of so many boxes! We reorganized miscellaneous items in categories that made sense and just decluttered overall. I threw out and gave away a lot with her help. The clear bins I have now are labeled and I can see what`s in them. I can have friends over for dinner now. My apartment feels like a home!

She was the best price available and she really worked hard to get the house unpacked and everything organized for us in the new house. I didn't leave a price because I don't remember what it was. But I do remember she was the better price than another organizer we contacted. She's a great gal! Very nice.

House is ready to move??? she has a great eye. It is important to respect her time - because she is busy busy busy - and very much in demand. She is a great problem solver and should you need to buy things for organization - she is great at budget savings suggestions. For extra points - Have a Pepsi or two for her on a hot day - ?.. She will travel within reason but you must remember to keep in mind that there is a charge -??.. BEST PERSON I HAVE COME ACROSS!!!!

Brenda was amazing to work with. We scheduled a total of 16 hours of work over three days and accomplished more in those three days than I could in three weeks. Brenda was efficient, did not take breaks, and provided helpful tips to organize different spaces. I highly recommend Brenda and will call her back when I need help again.

Brenda is a Wiz! She helped me sort and deal with the boxes and boxes of paper. It went fast and was pretty painless. She helped me stay focused and I felt really successful when it was done. We did in 4 hours, what I hadn't managed to successfully do in many, many months! I would start, get distracted, have all these different piles, and when I had to stop, I would just have piles of paper restacked! Now it's done and the only thing left is to get some things filed(she will help get my filing system updated) and to work my way thru a relatively small pile -say 1 inch- of papers I have to act on. She has helped me develop an overall plan for systematically reorganizing the house. She is tireless, running up and down the stairs carrying boxes. She is able to help me let go of things,because she never pressures me. She is unfailingly nice to work with and she wastes none of the time she is here. At the end of each session, Brenda takes things to be donated, from clothing to electronics, and gets them out of my house. Any trash is set up ready to be put out on trash day. And everything is set for her next visit. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel! After we have everything done, I can set up regular appointments with a her, at whatever time interval I want to help me maintain the house. I am so happy I found Brenda on Angie's list! I highly recommend her services.
Description of Work: Brenda has come to my home every week for over a month. She is helping me recapture my home. I had years of paper in boxes, most of which was trash, but mixed in I knew there were important items. I also need to reorganize room functions, moving an old craft are from the 2nd floor to the basement room which is full of stuff that needs to be sorted and moved out. The house is way too full of things gathered over years. I have problems letting things go and making decisions in this area. I also need help because I can no longer lift and move heavy objects or run up and down stairs multiple times. .

We found Brenda on Angie's List and are so very happy we did! A year ago, we were in the process of moving out of a house we had been living in for over 30 years, and there was much to be done. We didn't have the time ourselves, so we needed someone who could follow our instructions and work independently. Brenda did exactly that. She listened to what we wanted, which included packing up many of our items and then putting what we didn't want either in a pile for junk collectors to pick up or in boxes for donation. Her work was accurate, speedy, and professional. Her energy level and enthusiasm also impressed us. Now, a year later, we contacted Brenda again and asked if she would come to our new home in Western MD, Deep Creek Lake, for a weekend and help us to unpack and organize the many boxes that we had not yet had gotten to since our move. She happily agreed. She was most expedient, multi-tasking, making sure that all three of us were taking part in the process so that everything could be unpacked and organized in as little time as possible. Her energy kept us motivated; in less time than we expected, we got through the boxes AND made three trips to the dump and Goodwill -- all in less than 48 hours! So, yes, we highly recommend Brenda for all of your organizational needs. She goes above and beyond the call of duty!"

She came to see my garage then gave me an estimate - came back on time to do the job. [brought her lunch and ate on her own dime :-0 ] Took everything off shelves and put like things together in boxes then I could decide if I wanted - if so she put back in an organized manner. I let her know what I wanted where if it mattered to me. I have since moved a couple of things to different places - but I did have different places to move things. It did take less time they she had thought. I would use her services again.
Description of Work: She helped me organize my garage and make decisions about throwing items out. Also took items that could be recycled and gave to others who needed them - free.

Brenda exceeded my expectations. We did one thorough walk through when she arrived to identify things that would be donated, trashed, hauled for shredding etc. I called several organizers but I found that they didnt do everything that I wanted. Brenda never said no. She did the basement then came back a few days later to pick up the shredding , paint cans and old computers to dispose of properly. Everything in my basement now only has what I need. This is going to be a huge help when I move. She was kind, professional and very thorough. I really enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend. Her pricing is very competitive! Worth every penny! I plan on calling her again when I move to help me pack!

Description of Work: Helped me organize (sort/recycle/toss) decades of stuff, much of it paper (365 lbs shredded). My shoulder rotator cuffs both shot (multiple torn tendons) and I have problems with ankles, knees, hips, so just physically her help essential. But unlike other organizers I interviewed, she doesn't swoop in with helpers and whiz through at her speed. She works phenomenally fast with incredible energy, but always makes sure I feel comfortable with what is being done. She even (uncharacteristically, at a higher rate) did a deep cleaning. She takes old electronics many too heavy for me to carry to Best Buy. And something no other organizer would do -- she helped me with my overambitious plans to redo a garden when I could no longer dig. Alas, the floods of June drowned many plants, the drought afterwards did in most of the others -- I could water only about a third, and deer (what else nibbles at 3'?) ate the ends of my tomatoes, but I really appreciated her energetic efforts. She has family obligations and a vacation that will take her away for a time, but I certainly plan to keep using her. I heard from a friend of hers that other customers have gone through several organizers before finding her. Her schedule is already very crowded, so I almost feel as if I should keep her overbooked talents secret.

She always arrives on time, and works diligently until our time is up. She can keep going, like the energizer bunny, but I found that 3 hrs is better than 4 hrs for me. You, the client, work along side of her, so you know where everything is and where everything goes. This way, you can keep the spaces organized. She does offer to clean out everything without your help, but that's up to you. Her schedule is pretty full, and since she is a one-person company, she often doesn't have room on her calendar to fit you in when it is convenient for you. She is very empathetic to your needs and strives to help.
Description of Work: Brenda gives you options on what will work best for you. We take one room per visit , and for 3 hrs we sort, clean and reassemble the room into a good working order and she leaves with any donations.

When I think of efficiency and high skill set, I think of Brenda. I have actually been engaged with Wickedly Organized since May 2013. I needed help with organizing my home on three occasions as I had recently moved to a new home. Brenda organized the spaces in a four hour span, each time. I called her back to assist with organization at work and then for a fourth time with organization of a home office. She is efficient, skilled and especially respectful. I have appreciated her speed and non-judgmental attitude; she works with your personality. She possesses the skills I needed to accomplish the several organizational jobs I had which would have taken me months to accomplish, quite honestly. I have had her do work for a total of 16 hour; again, it would have taken me months to accomplish what she accomplished. As well, she even helped organized my car. She both thinks and acts fast while engaging the client for opinions. I will indeed have her back, when the need arises. I highly recommend Wickedly Organized for ANY organization job!

EXCELLENT work ethic. She works FAST and is ultra thorough. To get the most bang for your buck, I'd advise that you get your mind organized first! be determined to quit hanging on to stuff, let it goooo! I have so much room now, and everything is organized and NEAT! Brenda is the BEST!

Brenda was responsive from initial quote, to letting me know what I needed, showing up on time, and being wickedly organized. Although I gave her a B for price, it was a fair price and she did an outstanding job. The best thing about her, IMO, was she didn't try to and quot;selland quot; me on things I'm not interested in and she exceeded expectations. It's nice to write a good review for someone well deserving. Since she was formerly an English teacher, I give her an A+!

I was in a tizzy with a broken water main and broken air conditioning, I felt out of sorts and it was really hard for me to concentrate. The papers were just a headache added to the rest of the issues. Wickedly Organized's appointment was scheduled before any of this happened, but I decided to keep it anyway. I am glad I did because the organization of the papers helped immensely. It was a relief and worth 4 hours of time. Then we went on to the two bedrooms upstairs which just gave me stomach knots looking at them. Brenda was able to organize both my daughter and sons's rooms in one 4 hour session. (She did say my children did not have a lot of stuff so it was easier than typical.) Both sessions I was completely wiped out mentally, but Brenda looked like she could go on and on, this is her calling. Brenda is intuitive and reads your personality and your natural organization style and she works with that. She does not impose a particular method and develops something personal on the spot. The more she knows you the better she will be able to help. And her prices are reasonable, that is to say you feel you get value for your dollar. I am scheduled for another 4 hour session with Wickedly Organized to work on a filing system for archival storage (tax returns, medical forms, loans, investments and so on...), I am not looking forward to it but I am looking forward to having it done and the lightness of being feeling afterwards. It's like going to church, you don't want to go there but when you come out you feel so much better.

I've been using Wickedly Organized since June 5, 2013 to currently on a monthly basis. Brenda Has done an amazing job helping de-clutter my house and keeping it clean. After the initial visits of de-cluttering she now comes monthly to organize and clean. Her organizing even comes down to my closet, panty and clothes drawers!! This past winter she even took my old clothes and donated to charity and provided me with the receipt. Every time I come home after she's worked her magic I feel less stressed and am able to relax. I'm so glad I found her on Angies list. I'm even going to recommend her to family and friends.

All of Brenda Kahn's services have been very professionally handled. She is prompt, diligent, and especially creative when it comes to her organizational skills.She is also very kind and empathetic when it comes to those many things that are often difficult to part with. Even though i don't have pets, i know Brenda to be very pet friendly based on the reports of friends who do have pets and also use her services. I would not hesitate to recommend her highly to anyone in need of her considered skills .
Description of Work: Brenda helped me organize my garage so that my car finally fits. This hasn't happened since 1996. She has helped with other organizing jobs in the past, including going through my pantry and ferreting out expired products. Brenda also does meticulous housecleaning very much up to and often beyond my own standards. She has been my regular go-to gal for two plus years since I suffered a back injury. Now she has me spoiled and with her reasonable fees, flexible schedules, and cheery can-do attitude I'm very pleased she still considers me a valuable customer.

It went perfectly as has everything that Brenda has done for me in the past 2+ years that I have employed her. I first found Brenda after my husband past away and I need to move out of the home we had lived in for 35 years. It was quite a task to get it cleaned out and to get my daughter and I ready to move out and get the home sold. We did that and Brenda has continued to assist both of us to get settled in our new homes. She was invaluable to me and I will continue to highly recommend her services.

I was overwhelmed with the death of my husband and having to eliminate boxes of his collections of books, magazines, papers, As well as get things packed to give to his children from his estate. I was overwhelmed, depressed and overloaded to a point I could not do anything - the rest of my home began to reflect it. Brenda came and step by step has helped me get control of the space, my papers and eliminate so very much. Finally if you are lucky enough for her to have time for you - than you are saved.

Description of Work: Very professional. Helped me keep on task.
