Laminate was a very difficult random stone pattern that needed significant experience in laying to maintain a good effect.

Stephanie was very easy to work with and accommodating and all measuring and installation went very smoothly.

I have turned to Vertical Connections twice - first to replace my family room floor with a laminate. That was about 20 years ago and the floor looks like the day it was installed. Often these floors show wear when pieces separate-but my install was right so the floor still looks great. Next in 1995 they sold and installed the ceramic tile for a bathroom rehab-floors and shower floor & walls. Perfect job and a fabulous bathroom as a result. They are not the cheapest around but they have beautiful stuff and get it installed right. A decade later, that's what matters.

We found The Vertical Connection when looking for a repair to a large blind in the home we bought. LIttle did we know we would go on to choose them for all our flooring, carpet and floor refinishing for the rest of our home. We found them to be honest, dedicated, friendly and reliable. They have done 95% of our home floor surfaces and we are100% happy. Steve and Kathy - the owners have given us honest and experience-based information and guidance throughout our purchases. They also hired and referred us to very good installers.

I don't remember the price, however, but I am very pleased with the quality and look of the blinds.

They were very responsive, competitively priced and fast with the installation. I plan on using them in the future for new blinds for my sliding glass door.

90% of the job was exceptional but they did not execute when it came to installing the shoe mouldings. The size was wrong and the install quality was not good. They gave me a credit and I put them in myself. I would have been very satisfied had they gotten the shoe mouldings right.

Although it was not an inexpensive item, it was worth what we paid for it. The people at the store answered all of our questions and showed us examples of the produce which had been in their showroom for several years so that we could see how it would look over time. We did not have to wait very long for the installation which was done perfectly. I would use them again and highly recommend them to other people looking for good quality window and floor treatments.

Overall from sales with Steve B to install guy, they did a good job. There was a slower-than-ideal turnaround time on re-gluing one corner of the shade that came loose, but again they were always pleasant professional and overall smooth dealings. I would use them again, but not before looking into a lower-cost option as I now have 20 windows in my new house instead of 5 in a condo.

Had the first one done in 2012 and was so satisfied that I hired them again in 2013 for the second area. Stephanie was my consultant and she has a wonderful eye. She helped me pick flooring and tile that was absolutely perfect, and the installation went without a hitch. I don't know how their price compares with others because I selected them based on their reputation for service and quality -- and I got it. I would definitely use them again.

We have been very happy with all of their advice and the work every time and will most definitely use them again. They also stand behind their work.

Not inexpensive but the work was well-done and handled professionally

After repair of water leakage in the lower part of our basement, we decided to have new flooring place throughout the whole basement. Vertical Connection helped us select the flooring and then installed new wood laminate flooring in entire basement level. We also replaced the carpet on the stairs leading to the basement. They were very professional and did a great job. Cost was a little high, but worth the great service, product and installation. A great team that I will use again.

Although discontinued, they located enough to perform the job beautifully. When one board popped up a little bit, they came and replaced it promptly. I would recommend this company to other consumers.

We removed old carpet to save some dough. They installed new strips/padding (embedded with silver, I think, to combat microbes (Install was on concrete slab). Carpet is holding up well. When a minor problem occurred where carpet met ceramic tile at exterior door, staff were dispatched very quickly to address issue. All is well. Special shout out to Stephanie who assisted me in carpet selection. Also had two window coverings made via VC. Steve was also very helpful and the install went without a hitch. I'd return to them for future needs.

We have relied on Vertical Connection for 25 years. Would not work with any other company.
