Where can I even start about this company? They are wonderful people to work with. Stephanie is one of the sweetest people I've ever met. I am in a lot of pain because of a spine problem, and she even sent me a little note saying that she prayed that I would be better. I've used this company before for the rest of our home and they did such a great job. Punctual and courteous and SO professional. VERY low pressure in the showroom. They kept in touch with us when the carpeting came in, and also gave us a reminder call. Steve is great too! After the carpeting was first laid, my husband and I regretted not choosing the same color for both bedrooms. I called Steve and asked him if it was possible to getting the "green" for the master bedroom too. He did that for us and acted so sweet about it!! We are THRILLED with our beautiful carpeting and how it makes our bedrooms like new rooms. You will not be let down if you go to Vertical Connection/Carpet one!

We were greeted in the showroom like old friends. We needed help deciding what kind of flooring to use, and we got patience, combined with knowledge of the products and their features and benefits. We expected it to take us a long time to decide, but with Adam and Stephanie's help, we were on our way in about an hour. The floors took some time to come in, as they were shipped from overseas, but Steve stayed in touch, letting us know when they were due to arrive, and then following up to schedule installation once they arrived. We were very pleased that they called on Monday to let us know the materials were in, and asked if they could install on Wednesday morning! Great turnaround time. The installers were professional and courteous. They took great care with our furniture and belongings. We stopped by last week to pick up a cleaning solution, and even though we weren't there to make another big purchase, we felt welcome and valued as customers. Great job, VERTICAL CONNECTION!

The sales person @ vertical connection was very patient and understanding of my situation. She proposed several different styles of carpet. She did not rush me or attempt to sell me a higher priced carpet for my needs. In other words she was not aggressive which is a turn off for me. I contract with Vertical Connection to install the carpet. I was told that it would be installed in about 3 weeks. My only complaint is that i had to call Vertical Connection to find out status after 3 weeks. I believe that my order may have been delayed. It took 4 weeks to get carpet installed. Once I had a schedule date, Vertical Connections called me to update me on schedule. The installers showed up as promised and finished the job in a professional and timely manner.

Could not have asked for a better experience from sales through installation. Every single person was professional, competent and accommodating, and in addition, just plain nice. They truly, and cheerfully, went the extra mile with a lot of little things which actually made a big difference to me. The quality of the flooring and installation is excellent and we love it.

This was an amazingly smooth experience. I chose Vertical Connection on the recommendation of friends who had used them several times before. My earlier experiences with flooring were horrible. I get overwhelmed with the choices, have a terrible time envisioning how things will look in my house, and hated the process. I found all kinds of pricing games and sleazy dealers. I sometimes came out of carpet shops feeling like I needed a shower. And thousands of dollars later, I didn't even like the carpet I got. So this time I knew I needed a place that would offer a higher level of service to help me through the process. One note: I did not shop around for price so I cannot comment on how these folks would compare with others on that level. I did have to stay within a budget, but knew this time service had to be my #1 priority. Vertical Connection turned out to be an excellent choice. From the time I walked in the door, they treated me well. Stephanie talked to me in the store, came to the house to see the space and measure, then arranged a follow-up appointment where she would pull some samples for me. She did an outstanding job on all levels. She listened well and had pulled excellent choices for both the wood and the tile. She put them together and helped me understand what would look more/less formal, which ones would be easiest to keep up, etc. She had a good eye and the patience of a saint as I asked questions and finally made a choice based on her recommendations. The installation went as promised and the floors look GREAT! I also received calls at several points from Steve, the owner, who wanted to personally follow up to be sure everything went well and I was satisfied. I loved these folks and would definitely use them again.

The showroom is medium sized. We found more samples at other dealers, but we felt more confident in the sales rep here.

We were very happy with our experience in recarpeting our finished basement. We shopped the big box stores and found Vertical One's prices competitive. Pricing included install with no extra charge for stairs or furniture removal or haul away of old carpet. The padding used is expcetionally cushioned. Installers were great. Hard working crew that works for them (not a sub), that was all about business and the finished product looks great.

After checking Angie's List, I contacted Vertical Connection to ask if they would repair carpeting installed by another company. With plans to list my townhouse for sale in a couple weeks and being dismissed by the big box store that installed it, I was desperate to fix what I thought was just a couple rows of missing loops in my less than 2 year old berber carpeting. Vertical Connection agreed to give it a try. They sent two of their best installers to do the job. Unfortunately, the carpet, in particular the backing, was so defective that after 3 attempts to re-seam the damaged area, they had to abandon the attempt. I talked with the owner of Vertical Connection, Steve Joss while both men were still on site. After listening to my story and short deadline, Mr. Joss invited me to pick out some replacement carpeting at their store and offered to deduct the cost of the repair call from the bill for new carpeting ($171). I agreed and he instructed one of the workers to take measurements of the area before they left so as to expedite the sale. I arrived at Vertical Connection a few hours later and was met by a sales representative who had already been advised beforehand of my arrival. She gave me several choices in a reasonable price range (in addition to a 10% President's Day discount) along with some advice on color selections. Within 2 days, I received a call from Steve Joss asking to set up an installation date. I arrived at the store on my way back from an errand and was greeted by his son and introduced to Steve who quickly brought up my order on his computer screen and let me know the carpeting would be arriving by the end of the week. An install date was agreed upon and I even received a reminder call from Steve a few days before. The carpet was installed by the same 2 gentleman who came to do the repair. They arrived as planned, went right to work preparing the room and even invited my daughter and I to walk around for a sneak preview before it was fully installed. Not only am I extremely pleased with the product but the level of attention, customer service and professional workmanship demonstrated by Vertical Connection has been stellar. They proved themselves to be a competent, trustworthy company who stands by what they sell and knows the meaning of great customer service.

They were reliable and good. The reason we didn't take up their offer is lack of funds on our part.

I recently had my basement flooded, causing me to having to replace all of the carpet and tile throughout my basement. Through filing the home insurance claim I had the option of choosing my own vendors or going through the State Farm approved vendors. While interviewing potential vendors I contacted Vertical Connections (who was one of the State Farm approved flooring companies). Through my initial experiences I made the choice of using the approved vendors primarily due to the interaction with the staff at Vertical Connection. They came to my to take measurements of all of the areas that needed to be replaced, and took a sample of the carpet to try to match as close to the rest of the house as possible (the entrance to my home has a split staircase going to the basement and the first floor, and since I was only re-doing the basement matching the color was essential). Next, we went into their storeroom to select the carpet and tile. Steve (the sales rep that we were working with) found a carpet that was a dead on match for the rest of the house and we selected from an assortment of tiles that fell into the comparable price range estimate from the insurance. The carpet was slated to take around 3 weeks to get in from their vendor and within a couple days of the carpet arriving an appointment for installation was made. Both of the installation techs were fantastic, but the gentlemen that installed the tile in our laundry room was exceptional due to the fact that he worked around a washing machine, dryer, air conditioning unit, hot water heater and multiple storage and shelving units that were in the laundry room. I would definitely recommend Vertical Connection to anyone looking to get any type of new flooring in their home.

We are selling our house and got an estimate from one of the big box hardware stores. Wanted a second estimate and were checking Angie's list. We may not have tried Vertical Connection, assuming they would not be competitive price wise, until we read an earlier review that said they were. We were completely pleased! From the moment we met our salesman, Steve B., in the store till the installation of the stairway runner, we were treated in an A+++ fashion. Steve the salesman spent time helping us choose carpet that would not cost a fortune since we are moving but still be in keeping with the quality of the house and attractive to prospective buyers. He then personally came out to our home to do the measurement as soon as it worked for us and gave us the figure on the spot. The owner Steve Joss called us to confirm our installation date and see if we had any questions. He subsequently called during the installation and afterwards to make sure we were completely happy, and we were! The installer team, Tom and Ron, did a "beautiful" job, and that is not an adjective we use lightly. They were courteous, pleasant, and hard working and what's more, you cannot see a single seam. The carpet is tucked under the moldings nicely and they cleaned up after themselves. We can't imagine a better experience.

They were very polite, very thorough, and very efficient. We actually had a flood in the house and we are still doing the dance with the insurance company about who is going to come in and repair everything. We haven't made any decisions yet as to what we are going to do. All the companies that we called were equally responsive.

They were very good. The person that came to measure was very nice. We asked her to bring floral patterns and she brought something else. She did come back with something else. It took about 6-7 weeks for everything to be done. When they came to install the Venetian blinds, it was too wide. They did come back and fix it and it is perfect. When they installed the drapes, they did a very good job. They made sure they were hung properly on the drapery rod. They steamed them to make sure they got all the wrinkles out. They were very careful and did a nice job. They seem a bit expensive.

They were nice. The price was on the high end, but they seemed to be very professional. They had another showroom that they were opening the next week.

They were very good and we got along very well with them. We liked the representative that came out and did the estimate and all that kind of stuff. We didn't care for the guy that did the floor, he did a good job but he was supposed to put honey colour shellac on it and he left it clear. We made a compromise and said rather than having to do it all over again we wanted him to do the stairs. It took him to come two times to do that. The whole company met and worked with us and all of that because we told our insurance company not to pay them. They worked with us and did everything they could to make us happy and finally we were satisfied. The workmanship the guy who came I will have to give him a really low grade but everybody else in the company was really good. They seem to be have a fairly decent price but I really couldn't say because our insurance company paid for us. The guy did good work but did not do what he was supposed to do and never really listened to us.

Sales staff was very knowledgeable and installation crew was very fast and professional. Costs were commensurate with other area providers, but the work was superior and completed under the time we had initially expected. An excellent experience overall.

I used them again because they were very friendly and willing to work with us. They took a lot of time with us and gave us different options with lower cost and higher cost. They also gave us the pros and cons. They seemed to be very knowledgeable. They are well grounded in the community. They were little higher than what you pay for. They are kind of fairly priced and you get what you pay for with them.

Found the company on internet called them and they said to come on in so we could sit down and talk to them. Our sales person "Stephanie" was great from start to finish! She herself came out to measure for our blinds, and floors. We weren't sure about the state of the oak floors on the main level and she told us that we should not replace them, that they were in great condition (floors were not done by a professional so they were messed up) and to just redo them. Saving us a lot of money in the long run. After something was installed in the house Stephaine / Steve (owner) called each time to ensure that we were completely satisfied with the work that was done and that we liked everything. Stephaine even made sure that our oak floors were refinished before we moved into our townhouse, by calling and asking if we could be squeezed in by their people. I would highly recommend this company for all your flooring & blind needs!

We've regularly gone back to them because we know them and love them and know they'll do a good job.

The men that came out to install the floor were very professional and knew exactly what it was we wanted. They installed the floor within a day and followed up the next day to make sure the new floor set right and to do any touchups necessary. We were very happy with the outcome and highly recommend their services.

THE SALES REP WAS HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE IN OUR SELECTION OF OUR LAMINATE FLOOR. THEY CAME TO OUR HOUSE AND MEASURED TO GIVE US AN ESTIMATE. THEY ARE REASONABLY PRICED. THEY DID A GOOD JOB INSTALLING THE FLOOR, AND WERE CLEAN AND COURTEOUS.
