The Vertical Connection Carpet One

In 2010, we worked with Adam Joss at The Vertical Connection to remove the carpeting we had on the first floor and replace it with hardwood. We already had some hardwood on the main level so Adam worked with us to match the style and finish since the original product (put in by our builder) was no longer on the market. They matched it perfectly! Their prices were competitive. They worked with our busy schedule and the installation was painless and professional! The installer even helped us fix some minor imperfections in our existing hardwood. We liked them so much that we came back to them to carpet our basement. Adam, once again, took the time to help us select the right carpet for the space (since we have a dog with long nails, no berber or looped carpeting for us:)). He explained how they measured, cut and installed it. Turnaround time was quick and, again, the installation went well and looks great! They may not be the very cheapest but their service, attention to detail and follow up are worth it!

Everything looks great. Only complaint was that workers did not put up plastic sheeting when using power equipment to remove old tile. Dust was everywhere.

Over the more than 20 years we have had Pergo flooring, carpeting, and other window treatments installed. We have always been very happy with the results. We plan to hire them for all future work of this type.

It was excellent. They were helpful in making a selection. The installation was fast and well done. We did want a couple of things touched up and changed and they were good with the follow up.

15 years later, my laminate floor still looks perfect; I can't believe how good it still looks. Also, people always comment on how great the tile looks. I couldn't fault them on anything. They are also very friendly people.

The final analysis, everything turned out good. The technician who came out originally convinced us that we should use a configuration that did not end up working out. But, they came out at no charge, pretty quickly and replaced it. It was an awkward corner and with no questions asked, if we weren’t happy they weren’t happy. We would use them again.

The guy that did it, Mr. Cho, his son, and a guy named Adam were absolutely brilliant. Later on, I found out in a very difficult walkway, that I had a little gap between the boards. I called the owner to see if Mr. Cho could come in and fix it. The owner, Steve, implied I didn’t know what I was talking about it and they would have to come out and see in the summer when the boards would be expanded. The gap did stay come summer. I did not find him cooperative or pleasant. However, Kathy, Mr. Cho, his son and Adam were excellent. They were really focused on the customer. They were all pleasant, cooperative and helpful. They have a fabulous showroom; I have nothing but nice things to say about them.

They’re excellent! They’ve been around for a very long time and they’ve been great to work with. They’re knowledgeable and know the business very well. We’ve all been really happy with their services.

I loved them! I had different crews and all of the crews were amazing in every possible way. They were unbelievably helpful in the decision making process. They had the best customer service and they were very informative; we had a lot of companies in here and they were superior. They were the best I had ever dealt with. They made the process so easy and seamless in every way. They made the experience easy and fun. They made a situation I thought would so difficult, very fun. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Mostly, the job was okay, but there were some items that weren’t finished. The technician was supposed to come back to finish them, but never did.
