Teresa's Cleaning Service Inc

After checking several firms for estimates, I picked Teresa's. Her crew plan of 4 cleaners at an hourly rate seemed most likely to do the job well and quickly. Tenants had left upstairs unswept but not filthy. I'd removed old carpet and found scattered paint spots. Basement furnace room was VERY dirty from the oil boiler's soot. Upcoming work elsewhere in the basement meant they didn't have to clean the huge rec room at all. They arrived at the job a half hour late. Upstairs cleaning went a little slowly and I began to get concerned. I found later that Teresa had added a fifth cleaner to the crew during the evening without discussing it with me. They did not have the proper supplies for cleaning the paint spots, so I loaned one cleaner my library card to use as a scraper. The method they used to clean cobwebs was to toss a rag into the air in hopes of catching the cobwebs. This is not a very effective way to work. There was a good spirit among the crew and they seemed to be in nearly constant discussion about various topics. The final result was an acceptable, but not great level of cleanliness, but the cost shocked me. This job included some tough dirt, but was not worth nearly $1000. (including my Angies list $25 discount). At the end of the job, I found my mangled library card thrown out on the lawn in front of the house.

The crew was a little behind on their schedule, but once they arrived they were all business and went non-stop until my house was spotless! We were extremely satisfied with the quality of the work of Teresa and her team.

They are average. We will continue to use them.

Six people arrived on-time, to do the work. To say they were thorough is an understatement. They cleaned things I didn't even know were there or needed to be cleaned. They made my cooktop sparkle. They cleaned on top of my kitchen cabinets and refrigerator, they scrubbed and rubbed and ... It did take them longer than estimated, but the whole place shined when they left. My wife got home from work and did the white glove and sniff test. She was smiling from ear to ear!! The crew is pleasent and takes a lot of pride in their work. I now have them come in every two weeks ($150) and we are still amazed at how clean the house is each time they leave. They are fast, and get everything done - no mucking around. I know it seems strange, but sometimes it seems like they are having fun cleaning my home. This is an A+ operation!!

Teresa arrived with 3 other people. They proceeded to clean every thing in sight. I had purchased a "big deal" and it was clear from the start that four people could not accomplish what was needed within the time. Teresa was very upfront about the additional time/cost - although I thought it a little high, I agreed to pay (in fact I believe they spent significantly more time than I was charged). They did an outstanding job and it was money well spent. They were pleasant, professional and efficient. I WILL use them again.

Overall, my experience went well. I think that they did a good job. They weren't able to get to everything, but I was ok with that. I purchased a Big Deal for the first cleaning, so I was happy with the initial price charged. However, the rates that I was quoted for future work seemed a bit high, so I won't be continuing with them.

Theresa?s Cleaning Service We hired this service in response to Angie's List Big Deal. "Whole House cleaning for $85" - 4 hours of cleaning. They send 4 people for 1 hour. Advantages ? They showed up on the proper day to do the cleaning ? I was able to speak with Theresa directly to schedule the cleaning. ? The crew came with cleaning supplies, buckets, vacuum cleaner, etc. ? Cleaners were very friendly ? Came as crew of 3 females ? Did a good job of cleaning metal blinds that were heavy with dust ? Did deep clean of what they did. (I assumed they could have done more with 3 to 4 people in the house) ? Got the ball rolling for us to complete the job of getting the house cleaned. ? The 4 hours of cleaning for $85 was a good deal if you know how to instruct a cleaning crew properly. My expectations were probably too high Disadvantages ? I hired this service for 4 hours of cleaning with high expectations that they would know what to do without detailed instructions. ? Crew spoke no English at all. They called Theresa (the boss) from a cell phone then handed the phone to me. Theresa asked what my priorities were. I told them dust and vacuum. Little did I know this would backfire on me. ? The cleaning crew did not understand my directions to walk around construction debris and to come in thru the garage. They tip toed their way thru the debris and tools and to the front door and rang the doorbell; dogs went crazy barking ? Supposed to start at 3:30. They arrived at 2PM. I didn?t have adequate time to get dogs out of the house. ? They charged us 30 dollars additional for travel (Theresa said to read terms in fine print). When I go to Angie?s list site of the company, I do not see any additional terms on Angies list, as Theresa said. ? House smelled like someone else?s dog after vacuuming. ? They did not do bathrooms, toilets, sink. ? They did not do kitchen counter or scrub kitchen sink. ? They did not mop kitchen floor or other hard surface floors ? When I look at the reviews in Angie?s list, majority of reviewers stated above $500 to clean whole house. The reviews with A?s cost a lot. ? Don?t expect them to anticipate your needs ? they need exact instructions. I made an appointment to get dogs to the groomer to get them out of the house. I asked my daughter to stay at the house, to keep an eye on things and answer questions. When I got back, at 3:10 PM, the cleaning crew was gone. My daughter was mopping the floors. She didn?t want mom to come home to find dirty floors. I cleaned toilets and bathrooms myself that the cleaning service didn?t do. I assumed they would dust and vacuum both upstairs and downstairs then do the bathrooms then finally the kitchen floor.. My daughter said that 45 minutes went by and they hadn?t started the downstairs. The cleaners were upstairs wiping baseboards and cleaning my son?s messy room. She asked them in Spanish to start downstairs. They did a quick job of vacuuming and dusting the downstairs then left. I would not use them again.

Overall it went poorly. I had to leave at 1:45 pm for an appt. & I had to leave my front door unlocked. I have no idea when they showed up, but they were in a big hurry to leave. They cleaned 2 full baths & a powder room, dusted furniture upstairs, my DR & kit. chairs and the family room furniture. I asked them to use furniture oil, but she put a small amount of oil on my dust cloth & proceded to "dust", not polish. They did not vaccum the FR, kitchen. laundry area & powder room. THe kitchen was totally untouched. Theresa told me I had to pay her another $30, because they had to drive so far. She did not inform me about the extra charge when I scheduled the appt. Only Teresa could speak English. I will never use this service again.

The service went well, after the initial cleaning, Teresa called herself and recapped everything that was done. I also like the fact that if I was not pleased with something, you can call Teresa they will correct it, I get the sense she wants to please her customers and I like that type of service.

I loved it. Absolutely delightful cheerful ladies. One small soap dish broken which they brought to my attention and offered to replace. No cleaning agent smells, the house sparkled, my daughter commented it "felt clean"! I have two dogs and I don't think a loose hair escaped these ladies. I did have to rearrange photos, and small accessories but that was a pleasure for me.

I really loved this team. I agonized over searching yet again for a professional cleaning service, and this big deal came up almost the day after I let the previous service provider go. Teresa came in and she explained the special to me, and then the team went to work. They were so fast and cleaned everything without complaint or fuss. I was there too straightening and getting laundry together. What i loved most is that I did not have to tell them i wanted special attention on, they got the obvious cleaning task done in a home with 3 cats, plus the details that are needed to make the difference between clean and just tidy. They hand mopped the bathroom (its small) and utility closet that the cat litter box is in with all the litter on the floors. The removed the covers, shook them and then vacuumed the sofa, chair and loveseat and the replaced the covers (this is an obvious cleaning task to me but not to past providers.) Teresa took all the shoes and the shoe tree out of my closet and vacuumed out all the cat fur that built up (I was watching quietly to see if she would do that, it means she knows how to clean). The team was very efficient for one hour, wiped the baseboards, cleaned the front of cabinets, dusted everything and washed up the small amount of dishes in the sink. I will be using them on a monthly basis.

They did a great job. The house smelled nice and they did exactly what they said they were going to do.

It was a little hard to connect in the beginning, but once she came and gave an estimate my house was scheduled within a week and they did a wonderful job. I was impressed by how thorough the clean was.

I called and got a call back two days later (they were on vacation and drove to find cell connection to call me). We set up an interview. Teresa came out and looked over the house and quoted me $210 for the first complete cleaning and $110 for additional cleanings every two weeks. ( I did feel this was a little high considering that I have a split foyer, 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath house and am not having them clean my basement family room, my screened in porch or my husband's office). They came out today - Labor Day - with four people and cleaned for four hours. I have to admit that they did an amazing job. As I said to my husband "they cleaned anything that did not move". The house truly sparkled.

Teresa promptly returned my call and we met later the same day so that she could estimate the time it would take to clean the house. She went over all the small details that they would be focusing on. When we explained that we would be putting the house on the market in 3 days time, she was very responsive and was able to clean the very next day. What a fantastic job her team did - spotless, detailed cleaning made a 35+ year old house look ready to sell!

Theresa's Cleaning service is the first we've used that went beyond our expectations. They got the whole house sparkling, doing excellent work in the kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms, cleaning things we didn't expect they would bother with. The final price was a bit over the original estimate, but that may have been because our house is large. After they left, we found that one picture frame was broken, and while accidents happen, I wish they had said something. All that having been said, we would definitely consider hiring them again.

My wife and I hired Teresa's Cleaning Services a couple of months ago. They started with a whole-house deep clean, and we have them come in for a weekly cleaning. We definitely get our money's worth in the services they provide. They have gone above and beyond each week when they clean. They will change the sheets on your bed if you leave the new set out, thoroughly clean the rooms. They even cleaned in our laundry/utility room in the basement and organized the toys and books in our 2 yr old's bookcase, which we weren't expecting. The ladies are friendly and polite, and very professional. I'd recommend their services to anyone. My only critiques are that the first two times they came, the cleaning staff arrived late in the afternoon, which made it difficult to cook and care for two small children. After the first two cleanings, they began to come at an earlier time that does not conflict with our schedules. My second critique is that the staff has accidentally knocked a couple of items off of shelves while cleaning, which caused them to break. Luckily, neither item was expensive.

The cleaning crew arrived at 8 am and did a thorough cleaning of my 2100 sq foot home. We've lived in the house over 8 years and have done basic cleaning and had other cleaning services in but nothing as complete as Teresa's Cleaning Service. The team cleaned my windows, the sills, tops of cabinets, book shelves, dusted, mopped, vacuumed -- my home needed LOVE and they provided it. This was an initial cleaning which took over 6 hours. I've arranged a once a month cleaning which will cost $185 (every two weeks was quoted as $135.)

Very good experience. Took a long time to get the initial cleaning done - they require a first thorough cleaning the maintenance cleaning thereafter. First cleaning was 500 and took over 2 weeks to get scheduled. I now pay 135 every 2 weeks and it is worth it.

I have stumbled onto a jewel of a professional in my first venture into having someone else clean my house. I will use her for as long as I can afford to. I only say that because I will be retiring in a few years and then will have to reevaluate whether or not I can keep this wonderful luxury.

The whole ordeal of having to clean the condo while moving and unpacking in the new house went better than expected! I had also wanted the carpets steamcleaned, especially after moving in two feet of snow and even though her company didn't usually do that, she got a subcontractor whom she knew personally to come back on Sunday morning, who not only cleaned the carpets, but the sofa we had left. He only charged an extra $100.00 for the service. The condo was listed 3 days later as "in move-in condition" and it certainly was, thanks to Teresa's Cleaning Service. I highly recommend her service, she was very professional, accommodating and caring.

WOW! They really did an unbelievably good job. It took them four hours of hard work. They were very friendly too (very sweet to my 18 month old). I am really impressed.

She has a team of women who come and clean my house - they are immaculate. They are a little pricey but I am very pleased with them. I think they are a team of about 5 or 6. The first time, they were more in number and they did a very thorough and very expensive cleaning. She is going to do it once every 2 weeks now. The price is $175 for every two weeks. I have had other house cleaning services that weren?t as thorough or as quick as Teresa?s. The work goes really quickly because she has a lot of women with her, and they do a really good job. I would continue to use them in the future.

I would recommend them to the most pickiest person!!

The initial cleaning went well and we are looking forward to having regular service from them.
