Pop-a-lock was great. When I called, I was hoping I could get someone out quickly. They really came through. Not only was the response quick, the service technician was friendly and had me on my way. It was such a relief to know that I would not have to call my wife to get me. I would definitely call them again and recommend pop-a-lock highly.

First off, this review is based primarily (but not entirely) on my experiences with Pop-A-Lock in 2005/2006. However, I had such a positive experience at that time that I would recommend Pop-A-Lock to this day to any friends or co-workers who might happen to lock themselves out of their cars. Also, please note that the cost that I listed above is Pop-A-Lock's current lock-out service rate as of July 2009----**not** what I paid in 2005/2006. When I used Pop-A-Lock initially in 2005/2006, I ended up calling the company because upon calling AAA a few minutes earlier for lock-out service (one of the supposed benefits of AAA membership), I found out that I'd be in for quite a long wait before having a locksmith dispatched to my location. Not so with Pop-A-Lock!!! Pop-A-Lock provided an estimated time until a locksmith could get to my location, and the locksmith arrived within that time frame, which was quite reasonable----30 minutes or so, I believe, on a weekday mid-morning. The locksmith was courteous and caused no damage to my car in getting it unlocked, and he was able to get the car unlocked in a matter of minutes. I also had a very recent contact with Pop-A-Lock over the 4th of July weekend of 2009. At the last minute, I didn't end up using Pop-A-Lock's services and called back to ask that a locksmith not be dispatched to my location, but the **only** reason that I didn't use Pop-A-Lock's service in this instance was that a police officer happened to drive by, saw me in distress late in the evening on a holiday weekend, and was kind enough to unlock my car. Nonetheless, I was very impressed with Pop-A-Lock based on my initial phone call on Sunday, July 5, 2009, to request service. It was a 10:40 PM on a holiday weekend, and I was in a quickly emptying grocery store parking lot. I was really panicked as to whether any locksmith service would be able to help me at that hour! Pop-A-Lock left quite a positive impression with me when I called the company that night. My call was answered promptly, and the dispatcher said that a locksmith would be at my location in 30--40 minutes----amazing considering it was a holiday weekend! The service cost would have been $99 (cash or credit card), which, frankly, I would have gladly paid. One last positive note regarding Pop-A-Lock-----Per the company's advertising, the lock-out service is performed for **free** if a child happens to be locked in your car. Based on this fact alone, I would recommend that any parent add Pop-A-Lock's number(s) to his/her cell phone today! :)

THEY ARE VERY QUICK BOTH IN RESPONSE TIME & IN GETTING THE JOB DONE. NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO THE LOCK MECHANISM. OVERALL, IT WAS A VERY GOOD JOB. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS.
