Tony was very professional and patient. It was a tougher job than expected and he didn't try to over charge us for anything. We were scheduled to meet at 6 but since he showed up early and I was there, he didn't charge us for the evening after hours appointment. Thanks, Tony!

Locksmith arrived on time as scheduled. He was very professional and well spoken. He was very knowledgeable and was able to install a new set of locks despite a difficult situation (the existing locks were very old and weathered). The new set look beautiful and work extremely well. The price was very reasonable.

Daryl arrived on time, was very friendly, and explained every step of the process for us. Despite the extreme cold (a very windy subfreezing day), he was professional and worked quickly to secure our new home. He even provided us homeowner-newbies a quick education in how locks actually work and gave us tips to keep them in good working order. I called yesterday and Tony came out today. He was very punctual, friendly, and professional. One of the locks was a challenge, but Tony was able to fix the problem after a few creative ideas. I was very impressed by Tony and the fact that he was able to come out the day after calling the company. Pop-A-Lock is an A+ company and would highly recommend them.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal "$115 for 2 Locks Re-Keyed." Pop-A-Lock was able to come to my home the same day I called to make an appointment. The technician called 1/2 hour before he was due to arrive. He re-keyed the locks I needed and I also purchased five duplicate keys for $20.

I placed a call last week to pop a lock BALTIMORE to have my locks changed. I gave my address CLEARLY over the phone to the dispatcher...address, city state and zip code. I got a call back quickly from a Delaware number. I said, hey, you are in Delaware, do you come to Towson. He says, yes, I've been know to come to Towson...so I say, OK and we confirmed 9:30 today. Get a call this morning from the guy...where is your house. I tell him. He says he is in Wilmington, I said we discussed this last week and you said you come to Towson. He says I thought you said Townsend. Hmmm...not sure how they could dispatch someone in Delaware to a clearly given address like that. So, they referred the call to someone closer. I spoke to them this morning and they said they'd have someone here by 10:30. Guy calls at 11:15 and tells me he's running late and has no idea when he might be here, so I should just wait around indefinitely for them to come. What a waste of time. I am calling another locksmith. This is now an emergency and I need my locks changed.

I recently moved into a new house and needed to rekey all of the exterior locks. I called up Pop a Lock and scheduled service. The rep on the phone was great and asked all the details of what I needed. I was able to get service scheduled within a couple of days at a day and time that was convenient for me. The locksmith was on time, friendly and professional. He reviewed all the locks I wanted changed/rekeyed and made suggestions on which locks to keep and which needed to be changed out. He did an awesome job and spent a significant amount of time making sure all of the new locks fit the doors perfectly. I was 100% satisfied with the service and the price was reasonable ($450 for replacing 5 locks and rekeying 8 locks to use the same key). I would definitely call Pop A Lock again if I need locksmithing services.

They sent someone fortunately that knew it was a common skeleton key lock but unfortunately brought no tools or expertise to rekey it, despite needing that service. They offered to rekey other things but that is really all we needed. I am very disappointed in the level of service. I do not always like having to remove a lock to have it rekeyed and I would have expected they would communicate in advance that they were not able to help. Instead they send someone without competence, and try to make the money selling us something we don't need. Edit: weeks have gone by and NO REFUND. will not recommend to anyone for any reason.

Contractor was courteous and timely in schedulling and showed up on the date on time. He alerted me to several options available and once I had decided was done in approximately 30 minutes. Smooth transaction and would recommend to others.

When I called I didn't realize this was a national franchise. It was a bit confusing when a receptionist answered and asked what city I was in -- I had called a number listed for Columbia MD. Then I got transferred to someone else who took my info and told me the locksmith would call me. He couldn't give me an estimate. A short while later the locksmith called, I got an estimate, we set a time, then he called to say he would be late. Finally came, installed the lock and all is well.

The technician called to give me 30 minutes notice of his arrival. He was courteous, helpful and did a great job. Would use their services again.

They have been very rude the entire time. Whenever I call they leave me on hold, they are rude, unprofessional, and never seem to know what I am talking about. When they did send someone out he didn’t have any of the correct equipment I requested and reeked of smoke. I asked to have someone else come out and the representative told them I kicked them out. They talked over me constantly and would never let me get a word in. When I asked about a discount on Angie’s List he said he didn’t know and was very unprofessional about it.

Went well. He was very efficient and completed the work in 15 minutes.

Were on time and were able to adjust to a problem with the screw being too short. The lock works well but the decorative covering (where the knob touches the door - metallic circular plate) came off in a day or two and I can't figure how to get it back on.

Responded promptly even on a Sunday; cheerful, competent service; solved the latching problem which required some creativity. He also took care of the second minor issue, even though that was not the emergency that had warranted the Sunday service. Used the $10 off Angie's List coupon.

We were locked out and the guys who came by were great. Very professional and extremely helpful.

It went great. They came out right away and did the work fast. The guy they sent out couldn't have been nicer.

Upon arriving at work, my daughter locked her keys in the car. When she called me, I contacted Angie's List and called Pop-a-lock. I told them the circumstances, and that the most convenient time to respond would be @ 3pm when my daughter got off of work. 1. Sure enough their tech. arrived @ 3:02pm, after 4-5 minutes of paperwork ... it took about 40 seconds to unlock the car. 2. The Tech. accepted the Angie's list COUPON, saying it was the 1st one she'd seen. ( saving me $10. ) 3. The Tech. also pointed out that I could have called my Insurance Co. for the Road Service call; which I will now do after the fact. All in all, dealing with Pop-a-lock was a very positive experience; and I know who to call the next time I need a Locksmith !

Our font door lock quit working. Our house is 100 years old and the lock is from the 1920s. The locksmith came the same day that I called & was very knowledgable. Service call charge was minimal. Now we have to find a refurbished replacement lock .....

No problems. Called them.. Arranged appointment late in day. They arrived on time, went right to work. Were efficient and pleasent.

Great! I had planned on having many more locks changed, and he talked me through various options and helped me figure out the most cost-effective way to get the job done. He was incredibly professional and nice and let me know what was best for my interests.

I called them and explained my problem. They took my information and gave me an estimate of the cost of the repair. They told me they would call one of their technicians who would give me a call back when they finished the job they were on. The technician called me and we set up a time. He arrived promptly. He completed the repair efficiently and advised me of what caused it. He told me what I could do to avoid having the problem in the future. The charge was as originally discussed.
