Oxi Fresh of Columbia Carpet Cleaning

Great - got up some stains caused by cat litter that I thought were impossible to remove. Left carpet almost dry - an interested new cleaning system. I'll use them again

The company was great to deal with. I had missed the expiration date due to my mom having health issues and me having to be out of town caring for her. I was pleasantly surprised when I called and explained the situation and they had no issues at all honoring the Angie's list purchase. Nice! They scheduled my cleaning in the next few weeks, on a date that worked for me. The gentleman, John Lawall, was very polite and punctual. He called about an hour before the appt to let me know he could arrive early if that worked for me, but I was at work and only got home about 20 minutes before the scheduled time. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything. He got to work and treated all the high traffic areas and cleaned all the carpet. Another pleasant surprise is that he did the hallway without any concerns over the exact square footage of it. Other company's always try to double charge me on the hallways claiming they are too long, but Oxi Fresh of Maryland did it without any concerns. That was SO nice!! No hassle, no overselling, no extra charges for high traffic areas. Very professional. Definitely the easiest and most stress-free carpet company I have dealt with!! The method of cleaning is interesting in that they don't use water. They spray a list mist of water and solution over the carpet (using a 2-gallon hand-held tank) using only a fraction of the tank. Then use a small hand-push device that reminds me of the old-type push lawnmower (with the rotary blades). Of course, theirs didn't have blades, just spinning things like on a vacuum cleaner that agitate the surface and clean the carpet. They do not have a generator running a big water sucking machine since the don't use water. I was very skeptical that the carpet would be clean without water/rinsing, but I was pleasantly surprised that the heavy traffic areas looked very good and overall it looked as clean as other water based methods, if not better. Definitely more environmentally friendly! It dried quickly which allowed me to move the furniture back into the room that evening (I had already moved the furniture out before they came).

John re-cleaned, it's much better now. At least there aren't clean edges where I had cleaned. It was a real hassle to get it to this point though.

They were on time and did what we expected them to do. They were couple of things that they couldn't get out, but those were understandable.

The equipment wasn't working well that day so they weren't able to clean the couches(which was added on). The work was done very well. I would use them again.

Excellent! We were going to replace the carpet due to stains, but the all of the stains were removed (quickly) and will keep our carpet for another year or so.

It went well. The representative showed up on time. He introduced himself. He told me what he was going to do and he was able to have everything finished in a 1/2 hour. After he finished he had me go upstairs and check everything and I was quite pleased with how my carpets looked.

The provider (Technician John) came today as scheduled. He called an hour ahead of the appointed tome to say that he might be a little late owing to traffic. Actually, he arrived ten minutes early. He then explained what we was going to do, according to the contract and agreement, explained the produce and then went about doing the cleaning. He was efficient, professional, pleasant, helpful and got on with the job, finishing up in the allotted time. I could not be happier; the carpets look great! I would recommend this service to any and everyone. I wouldn't even consider going with another company.

Very professional. Explained in great detail what he was doing an why and how we needed to care for the carpet in the future. All looked new by the time he finished. Cleaner was very proud of his product and his work and we felt extremely well served. Would definitely recommend this company.

The technician from Oxi Fresh of Central Maryland didn't manage the equipment too well. He kept hitting up against my walls and into my baseboards. He did chip paint off of my baseboard and a rather big piece off too but the carpeting turned out beautifully. I can't complain about how the carpet turned out. He said it was hard to control but I thought if he's a professional carpet cleaner he should control it a little bit better than that. He couldn't get up into small places because I guess they only have that one piece of equipment and it's big, like a carpet shampooer. There is a small area between furniture that you can't really get up in there but I'm happy with the carpet cleaning by Oxi Fresh of Central Maryland. I thought the price was reasonable. He said that the carpet would be dry in a couple of hours and it might just have been about the weather that it took much longer to dry than I had anticipated, like closer to the next day before it was dry, but it might just have been a weather kind of thing.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that we purchased. They were very accurate. We were very pleased with the outcome of the carpet. It was very clean.

John from Oxi Fresh came out today and did a great job cleaning our carpet and furniture. He was here promptly at 9:00am and did a very thorough job. Not only did he do a great job with the cleaning, he was very informative in the tips that he gave to help extend the life of the carpet and furniture. I would definitely recommend John and Oxi Fresh.

Well. We used a Big Deal and then addedd on stairs cleaning at their suggestion. The only complaint we had was that he was cleaning on one level and was annoyed that he had to tell us that he was ready to move to where we were. How else would we know?

The technician called before he arrived, as agreed. He was on time, explained their entire process and how long he would be there. When I returned the carpet was extremely clean, dry and there were no chemical smells.

It went great. I was going to replace the carpets at a cost of $2K but they came out looking good as new.

I called to get someone here fairly quickly and the owner came within a few days in the evening to provide the service I needed. He worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned my carpets so they looked almost brand new. There was no chemical odor. I have an area carpet in my sunroom that is a very light color and was absolutely disgraceful in how dirty and spotted it was. He did a truly heroic job of cleaning it so I was no longer ashamed to have people sit in the room. The owner is very personable, works hard and is very professional at his job. He honored the coupon I bought from Angie's list and the cost was more than reasonable. Did I mention how quickly the carpets dried? I will definitely use his service in the future and highly recommend him.

Carpets turned out great! He really did a fantastic job and it did not take very long to complete the work.

This was a great deal because if we had done this at regular price it would've been in the neighborhood of $400. I chose them, not only because of the price of the deal, but because of their method of cleaning; it uses very little water. I am sensitive. I have asthma and I haven't smelled anything. I haven't sneezed, I haven't coughed. There were no fumes. The cleaning agents that they use are custom mixed for each customer. He came in and talked to us first and looked at the rugs and then mixed his materials based on what he saw. He actually cleaned the heavy traffic area on the stairs by hand with a brush to make sure he got that stain out. Ken was our service person and after he left we actually realized he was also the manager! There is a satisfaction guarantee. If, when it dries, I'm not satisfied with the way it looks, I can call him immediately and he will come back as soon as possible and redo it.

They were able to schedule me for just 2 days after I called. He did a thorough job and explained everything before and during the service.

The technician was very thorough in his explanation of what he was going to do, went over all the rooms with me to see any stains, then proceeded to complete the job in less than one hour. The carpets look better than they have in a long time even after other cleaning services.
