Oxi Fresh of Columbia Carpet Cleaning

Came early after calling first. Got to work right away. I've always had Stanley Seamer clean my carpets but the offer was so good I thought I'd try someone new. I liked the fact that this is a green company. I have pets so carpet stains are a way of life in my house so I have my carpets cleaned every year. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. They came clean and were dry after a couple of hours even with the application of the sealant and deodorizer. Stanley steamer can take days to dry. Chris was very polite and answered all my questions about he process. I will definitely use them again

First after prepaying I had difficulty scheduling. Company tried to give me odd times like 7 pm at night. I had to talk with a manager to get scheduled in the day and not have to wait over a month. Once scheduled the tech arrived little late but did call so no big deal re that. He was polite and seemed to know carpets. I asked where his van or equipment was he had his own personal car and just machine size of type you can rent. I was told prior by phone and by him there specialty is not using alot of water that their chemicals can really clean. I told him I have an excellent carpet company for years he uses water but gets it back out has bigger machines and truck mounted. Anyway he than told me they can do it all using one gallon. He filled a small plastic bottle with warm water and his cleaning stuff and sprayed my carperts. My carpets are beige berber rugs and were very soiled in some areas. I had him check he told me sometimes they cant get this type clean but he would try. He than proceeded to use his whole gallon was not happy with result so did another whole container. and possibly a 3rd for some areas. He than cleaned and suctioned with his machine. Areas were cleaner but certain spots still looked soiled. Not like how it usually looks when I use regular carpet guy. He told me dont worry it will look better once dry and it will dry in one hour. Carpet seemed very wt I had trouble believing that. sure enough hrs later it was still really wet had to stay off carpet.next day still wet and it took over 24- 48 hrs to dry not one hr like they advertised and told me! Also parts kind of sticky was too much chemical used?? Once fully dry I could still see soiled areas. I was gonna just live with it and consider it a lesson learned better to pay a bit more and keep my original company. My hubby encouarged me to call co back so I did this week. After 2 calls owner of elkridge branch did call me back. Was very nice did not seem surprised it wasnt clean enough told me they can do redos. Told me berber is hard to clean. I asked for a different tech.he agreed to have someone look and if needed redo this. My concern is now I dont want my carpet soaked again bad for padding risk of mold etc, but I agreed have rep call me. Next thing I know within few minutes I get a call from a man ( my original carpet cleaner) angry with me wanted to know why i called his company( corporate) vs calling him direct to complain, I let him know I can call whom I want just called company name I hired on my receipt and ended call with him. i called owner made him aware his worker was giving me a hard time he was apologetic said he should have never called me. told me another guy will call instead, New tech came job was redone carpet not soaking wet this time did get cleaner but had funny pet odor for days likely they did not include a deodorizer? I have never had this occur prior either. Over all I have to rate them a C as service inconsistent, lack of professionalism initial employee or subcontractor? trouble scheduling and oevrall not on par with how I have had them cleaned prior. Would have done a " D" grade but did give a "C" since they were willing to come out again.

It was a very good experience. We didn't have four rooms, but he did the stairs, two rooms downstairs and the room upstairs. He even did a pretty good job cleaning up a dirty rug. We were pleasantly surprised with how it turned out.

Oxi Fresh Technician, arrived on time, called prior to scheduled appointnet to confirm location and time. The carpet cleaning was professionally done and the work area was dry to the touch within one hour. Great experience, Carpets really look clean and devoid of stains.

Quickly, with lots of explanation of process and determination of carpet quality, and summation of what to expect and how to proceed-such as when will dry, when to vacuum and what to do if stains happen

The technician arrived promptly when scheduled and cleaned the areas I requested. He didn't try to sell me more services and quickly performed the work. The carpets look great, and I'm really impressed overall with the service. He even volunteered to clean an area that I said he didn't need to -- I was surprised. I definitely would use them again.

I purchased an Oxi Fresh big deal from Angie's List. This was the third time that I purchased a big deal from Oxi Fresh. The previous two were for family members and they were quite happy with the work. They were professional on the phone and very easy to schedule with. I was able to get a Saturday appointment, which was nice. The technician showed up on time and did a great job. I have a dog and he picked up a lot of hair and the smell that accompanies it. I have noticed much less hair when vacuuming and I am still happy with the work a month after the service was performed. I would definitely recommend Oxi Fresh.

FANTASTIC!!!!! I am so happy with the outcome. The carpet looks brand new - I didn't think it was possible but Oxi Fresh worked a miracle for us saving us ~$1500 for new carpet. The carpet cleaner finished his previous job early and called to see if he could come to our house early. I appreciated the call and he was able to come. He was very professional. The carpets look great! They got out a couple of stains from when we were training our puppy.

This company came on the heels of another company that provided the worst possible carpet cleaning and public relations one can experience. I guess that will teach me to always use Angies List. Hydro Clean provided excellent phone helpl They were friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous. The workers arrived on time and cleaned my carpets so beautifully. They looked new. The men worked very hard for about one hour and a half; the men were knowledgeable and courteous as well. The price was one half of the charge of the first company AND 100% better. I must tell you of their graciousness too. On the day of the first appointment, I called to ask them to come another day as I was sick. They were do kind about rescheduling. I would highly recommend them Before they left I scheduled another time to come back to do some pressure washing. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE

Chris, the tech did a WONDERFUL job. He worked very hard and got up some really bad pet stains. I would definitely use Oxi Fresh of Maryland again.

Serviceman arrived as scheduled and was very professional, Before beginning job he explained the "Green" method step by step. I was amazed having only had older method steam cleaning. There was no truck or cleaning machines. He move chairs, etc. The prio cleaner only cleaned around movable items, unless I moved them. Had not realized this until I rearranged some items in den, only to discover hassock, chair, side tables were not moved. As this method used approximately a gallon of water vs 30 gallons standard method. Needless to say there was a quick thorough dry (not damp). I will definitely use for my next clean.

I used the discounted 5-room package price (advertised on their website), then got a phone quote for adding 2 more rooms, 2 sets of stairs and hallway. When the cleaning tech arrived, he was very courteous and professional, and stuck to the quoted estimate. After discussing with him the possibility of adding 2 more teeny rooms to the list (laundry room and walk-in closet), he gave me (what I think was) a fair price due to the small sizes of those 2 rooms. I was worried initially if the "green" materials/process would be effective enough to get rid of my spots/stains, but it worked nicely (granted, my stains weren't really that bad). I really liked the idea of how little water was used, and how fast it dried. The machine left a lot of tread lines in the carpet (like any strong vacuum normally would), but came out easily when we used our regular vacuum a week later. Also, the carpet felt very 'crusty' or 'crunchy' when it first dried (more so in the areas that he concentrated on spots or high-traffic areas), but after a couple days of walking on it and especially after using our regular vacuum cleaner on it, the carpet eventually went back to its normal softness... except cleaner! The only thing I regret, but partly my own fault ... I paid the extra service charge of $8 for moving small furniture, but I don't think he actually moved much, except my dining room chairs. I can tell he cleaned 'around' the coffee/end tables and floor baskets, instead of actually moving them (the tread lines and crustiness are dead give-aways). But I sort of take some of the blame myself because I never discussed it with him (or clarified 'what' would get moved) when he was going over the order details before he started. Overall, we were very happy with the results (as apparent in our ratings). I much prefer the Oxifresh process over the other (very wet) cleaning options out there. I just have to remember next time to discuss the moving around of small furniture :-)

Arrived on time. Excellent job cleaning our carpet. Took about 1 hour to do three rooms. Dried almost immediately when done. Carpet looks like new. Removed some old stains, and they have not come back. Would definitely have them do our carpet in the future.
