Oxi Fresh of Columbia Carpet Cleaning

I was extremely satisfied with them. I would use them again. The owner himself did the job for us. He was very pleasant and helpful and professional. The quality was great.

It turned out pretty good. Everything I have to say about them is positive. The guy that came by was very I guess you could say customer service was excellent. His rapport to us, his professionalism to myself and my wife were professional and excellent. I don't really have anything bad to say except for may be call back from I guess from the company just to verify to make sure that the guy was about to come out or a day before they call before to come out because I actually had to call that morning to see if the guy was going to come out that morning and I didn't receive a call and I guess he wrote down a wrong number. I would use them again.

I was very pleased with this service. The serviceman was very prompt. He managed to get most stains out of my carpet - even the ones I was sure he wouldn't be able to do. We used a coupon through Angie's list, so the service was very affordable.

Went very well. Took stains off of chair and made sofa look like new. Very professional and friendly. Explained why he cleaned the way he did, which pleased us very much.

Quite good. He worked hard to get out a few tough spots for us that we had been unable to get out ourselves.

When I had booked the appointment, I had asked about adding grout cleaning. The scheduler said they would check with the location and call me back since only some locations have the grout cleaning equipment/training. I never received a return phone call. When the technician came today, he said that they are currently going through training on grout and hardwood cleaning but it is not a service that they offer at this time. Technician noticed ring of gray dirt on edge of carpets at bottom of baseboards & told me that this is often caused by dirty air vents. Recommended using Angie's List to find a company to clean the air vents. Appreciated that he provided me with the information (& didn't recommend a friend's company - which would make it seem like he was just drumming up business). Overall, the carpets are cleaner. A few minor spots that I had came out. My dining room chairs were moved to the kitchen (tile floor)but other furniture was worked around. When I have had another company clean my carpets, they moved furniture & put the furniture on foam blocks until it was dry. Also, the track marks in my carpet did not really improve with treatment (when they improved greatly when another company used truck mounted equipment a few years ago & a carpet rake. While I realize Oxi Fresh uses a different technology, I think it would be helpful if they used a carpet rake to help raise the carpet pile. The technician was very prompt and professional.

It was fine. Everything was good about them.

Their method of carpet cleaning is newer, more efficient, and gives a deeper clean with a quicker dry.

The appointment was scheduled for 9am. I received a call from Ken, the technician at approximately that time stating the battery in his truck had died! He stated he was getting a ride to pick up a new battery and would call me at 10am. He called at exactly that time and updated me, stating he would be at my condo at 11am. He arrived exactly at 11am. We can not predict nor control all that might go wrong with an appointment, but I appreciated the fact that Ken kept me posted and did arrive when he said he would, even though later than scheduled. Ken gave me a real education on this new type of carpet cleaning. He was informative, friendly and professional. He took his time doing his job and did not rush. I pointed out specific areas where there were pet stains and he paid special attention to those areas. The whole process took a little over an hour and a half. The carpet was dry in approximately two hours. Best of all, the pet stains were gone as was the odor. Very pleased with the results. The carpet still looks terrific. I will definitely be using their services again. Next time they will clean my furniture too!

We had purchased a big deal and the experience went extremely well. I ended up paying 40 Dollars more for an additional area.They were really good.

He called on his way. He added the extra items at a reasonable price. The carpet dried in about one hour as he had said.

The contractor called ahead of time to confirm our appointment and to update me on his schedule for the day. Since he was cleaning my former apartment after I had already moved out, having this information made it very convenient for me to drive back to meet him. He was polite and professional, and even gave me hints about how to make sure the management did not charge me for cleaning the carpet.

Service was excellent from start to finish. The representative (who happened to be a local area manager) called beforehand to confirm our location. Upon arriving by the scheduled time, he proceeded to go over exactly what he was going to do and how the cleaning process actually worked. He suggested (but by no means pushed) adding stain protection to the 3 additional areas we were having treated. I ended up adding the stain protected and was glad that I did. I had a few questions along the way, which he took the time to answer. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the quality of service and will definitely consider using Oxi Fresh in the future

When the office was called to set up an appointment the receptionist was very friendly, professional, and accomodating to meet the needs of our schedule. On the day of the appointment, the manager who came to complete the service was punctual, professional, and efficient. Prior to the initation of the service as outlined in the coupon code the manager explained that if we wanted the stairs to be cleaned it would be an additional cost as this was not included in the three rooms and a hallway deal provided to Angie's List members. We agreed to have this additional service of cleaning the stairs and applying a stain protectant. The entire job was completed expeditiously and with attention to detail in approximately one hour. The other nice plus was that we did not have to wait all day for the carpet to dry before walking on it although no one was in the house for several hours after the service had been completed. When it is time to have the carpets cleaned again we will not hesitate to call Oxi-Fresh of Central Maryland. We will definitely be recommending Oxi-Fresh of Central Maryland to others.

Unfortunately, months later, the spots in the basement reappeared! And we no longer have the dog, so I'm uncertain why.

I am so pleased. I had two carpets that I thought I would have to replace, used this cleaning as a last resort. They look almost new again, so I don't have to replace them. Really got rid of pet odors as well. I would definitely use again! Earl was great, whole process didn't take long, explained the system, showed me my dirt (yuck!), and the carpets didn't take long at all to dry. Easy breezy company to do business with and end result was above my expectations!

Went just fine. I've never had the carpet cleaned before so had few expectations going in. Carpets look lots better, smell better too. As hoped, high traffic areas showed the most improvement, as did the indoor/outdoor carpet in the basement. I had moved most of the furniture out beforehand; John, the operator, helped me move a couple of heavier tables. Very professional: courteous, informative, and patient. Explained what the system could do and what it could not, as where sun fading or areas protected by throw rugs caused permanent changes that no cleaning would change. Overall, very pleased. It's a good deal, easy to schedule, received a call ahead before arriving, got the whole job done in just over an hour (this is a row house, not big.). Will recommend without reservation.

! John was terrific! My carpet had multiple stains and dirt paths ( I have a 14-year-old cat) and John told me he thought he could get about a 75% improvement. When he had finished, we agreed it was 90%. I publish a vendors guide for our 160- home community, and I plan to include John in the next edition. I have already recommended him to some neighbors. I could not be happier with this service. I'll probably call him in again before the Christmas holiday.

It turned out very well. They came out, explained the process and cleaned the carpet in four rooms of my home. I used the big deal plus another $20 or $40 because he did an additional service where he put deodorizer on the carpet because I have cat.

From start to finish the company provided friendly helpful service. The technician arrived at my house before the scheduled time and walked through with me to assess the cleaning to be done. He was knowledgeable, thorough and the cleaned carpets looked wonderful. He was even able to remove stains that I wasn't sure could be removed. Very pleased with this company.

It went well overall. The carpet was left cleaner than it had been but not as clean as I imagined it would be. Perhaps it needs a second visit. The gentleman was on time, actually early, and he was very professional and courteous. I gave the job a B because I understood from my phone conversation that the furniture would be moved to ensure a complete cleaning. I had spent the entire day the day before removing all the lamps, knick-knacks, plants, books, etc. to make the job of moving end tables and coffee tables and dining room chairs easier for the man coming to clean the carpet. However, he informed me that he would work around what was there. I'm glad I did my part - I don't know how he would have been able to clean with all that stuff in the way. In any case, I was busy and didn't feel like arguing over that. In the future, I will take careful notes of what is actually offered when I make the appointment.
