Oxi Fresh of Columbia Carpet Cleaning

John was on time, very professional, and great to work with. I would certainly order from them again. My carpets look great!!

My daughter was there when these people came. They informed her that the hall would be an additional charge. I thought this was included the square footage that the ad stated. I told her to tell them to clean the hall and not do one of the bedrooms. I would like to amend my review to an A. The owner of this company called me today and asked how he could make this right with me. Since he could not go back to the original house because of it being sold, he offered to come and clean my carpets at our new residence. This was a very professional thing to do and I very much appreciate his offer. Looking forward to have my carpets cleaned in my new place.

The provider called 30 minutes before arriving to let us know he was on time and arrived exactly when expected. He gave us a very clear and thorough explanation of the product and process, clarified what rooms were to be cleaned, and offered a good price to add an area at our request. The cleaning process removed difficult stains all over our dining room carpet that were so bad I thought we were just going to have to buy a new carpet. Now we don't have to, and I am impressed. The carpet dried quickly and looks great.

Keith was there on time and ready to go. Very friendly. This was for a move-out inspection of a rental. He took the time to assess the situation and explain what he was going to do. Worked very hard to get carpets as clean as possible. Considering the age of the carpets and the condition they were in pre-treatment, the carpets came out looking great! I would definitely use this company again.

This is the second time I used Oxi Fresh and have been satisfied both times. The technician, John, (who was here both times) is very pleasant and easy to work with. He got out some really challenging stains and my carpets look and smell great. I especially like the fact that this company's process does not leave the carpets nearly as wet as some I've used before. Quick drying time is definitely a plus. I will use these folks again.

Everything went well. It was great. The gentleman who came out was very polite and very professional. We arranged the deal over the phone and they did not charge me any more than the big deal. The deal was originally for four rooms and I asked them if we could just delete two rooms for the two sets of steps. The carpets looked really good afterwards. I also recommended them to a few other people.

He did a great job on the rugs. They came out great. There were some stubborn stains and some rust stains that wouldn't come out but not from lack of trying or product/technique as I don't thikn anything would have taken those stains out. It was a tad pricey but would definitely recommend.

It went very well. This is the first time that I used an Angie's deal so I did not know what to expect since the price was so reasonable. Though the service man was not here at the specified time, he did call to let me know that heavy traffic was slowing his compute. The service man arrived one half hour late which did not posea problem for me. The professionalism began with the call to inform me of the lateness, and continued throughout the service. His demeanor was pleasant and professional. It made you feel like you are going to get the best service possible. I was given an explanation as to how the cleaning would be performed, what materials/chemicals with be used and how long it would take to complete the service. It was such a pleasure to have your carpets cleaned without heavy machines, wet rugs and chemical odors. You are able to walk on the floors immediately. Also, at the conclusion of the service, without request, the service man informed me of the care that would be needed in order to keep my carpets looking good for a long time. There is also a 7 day warranty that allows you to call the company back if you find any areas of the carpet that have not been cleaned to your satisfaction. Great Job! I highly recommend the company.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It turned out fine. I had some wine stains and unfortunately, he wasn’t able to get it completely out. He did a good job as well as he could but the stains weren’t able to get out. I probably should have had them come out sooner, like after the stain had occurred so it’s not any fault to them. I was pleased with the individual who came out. He took his time to get it done and he was nice. I would definitely recommend them.

Excellent job done quickly and effectively. Removed some stains that I thought wouldn't come out.

When the service was complete the floor was very clean and bright.. Provider gave me ideas on stain removal and the floor was not wet. It dried in about an hour and could be walked on. I will be sure to use this service again in the future.

The service went well. We were very satisfied. The young man was very pleasant and professional. I'm not comfortable if the carpet got real clean. It appeared clean after he left and so on.

The tech was pu nctual and very professiona l. He explained the procedure thoroughly and answered all questions honestly. He was very knowledgeable and detailed. The work was finished on-time and the outcome was excellent.

Very well, I have used this company in the past for carpet cleaning and they always are friendly and do a great job.

The service was wonderful. I paid more than what the deal was for because it was only for four rooms and I ended up getting my whole house done.

UPDATE 08/24/13: After seeing my review John called and apologized for not responding to my e-mail, indicating that he never received it. I believe John since he seemed so responsive when he first came out. He offered to come back out to go back over any of the pieces, and also explained that Oxi Fresh is one of the most environmentally safe cleaning companies out there and is restricted from using certain chemical solutions (such as the one I used). I've therefore updated my rating for Oxi Fresh and would consider them in the future for cleaning my carpets or upholstery (except 10 year old beige furniture. ------------------------------------------------ This was the first time I had hired a professional to clean any of my upholstery, and the pieces that were treated were a light beige and more than 10 years old. I responded to a promotional offering from Angie's List based on the good reviews of Oxi Fresh and the reasonable price. John the technician was prompt, courteous and appeared to be knowledgeable. He explained that he used a low moisture steam cleaning method, and pointed out some "water stains" which he thought he might not be able to completely remove (which turned out to be the case). He thoroughly vacuumed the pieces which he explained as a critical first step. He then proceed to steam the pieces and applied a cleaning solution to certain spots. He worked on the pieces for about 45 - 60 minutes. The end result was less than I had hoped for, but this may well be due to my expectations being too high for such old furniture. I went back over the "water stains" with K2R (dry cleaning product), and this was able to remove the stains. While doing this I noticed that the K2R was making one of the cushion much cleaner than the others, and I realized that John must have missed doing one side of that cushion since it was so much dirtier than the others. I sent John an e-mail suggesting that he might stop back out and fix that cushion, but I never got a response and didn't push the issue (just as easy for me to clean it with K2R). Overall I wasn't unhappy with the results, just a little disappointed that the pieces didn't come out cleaner (especially when I had a product that improved the results). The lack of a response to my e-mail was also surprising. Next time I get my upholstery cleaned I'll do more research into the various approaches.

"John" from OxiFresh came right on time even though he had called earlier in the morning and left a message he may be running a little late. He was very nice, professional and worked hard. I am very pleased with the cleaning--fresh, light smell--no chemical or heavy smells of the usual cleaning products. He was able to get out some old stains out of the carpet; we have 4 cats and 2 older dogs--1 of which (a dog) has frequent "accidents" in the house; John showed me the amount of pet hair he was able to get up --and that was after I had vacuumed! I knew some of the very old pet stains that I couldn't get out would not disappear completely and he said as much. I'm going to have OxiFresh come out in another month or so to see if they are able to get anymore of the very old pet stains out of the carpet. Compared to carpet cleaning services I used in the past, the price I was charged was very reasonable, and less expensive and the drying time this time around was much quicker. I have already recommended OxiFresh to some friends and family.

Great,rugs looked fantastic,no chemical smell,did not try to sell additional services,came on time,provided a specific time not 4 hr windows,rugs were dry within 2 hrs of the service. Will definitely use them again have already recommended them to 2 friends.

Oxi Fresh of Central Maryland came out probably withing 3 days because it was a last minute purchase. I think I paid the price of the big deal, if there was something additional, we discussed it. They go based on what I say, if they got here and the rooms were bigger, they made an assessment but I can't remember but if there were additional fees, they let me know. The person that came out was excellent. They're friendly. he was very cognizant of making sure that he didn't track anything in on the carpet and then when he left cleaned up. The only thing that stood out to me was whatever they use to clean the carpet, it's kind of a hard feeling afterwards. It's very clean but it's not a smooth, fluffy type but it gets the carpet really cleaned. I think their price was comparable.

Technician was excellent! He called before he arrived. He asked if he could come a little early, we were waiting for him so it was no problem. He got his gear while I moved the small stuff. He cleaned the carpets and the stairs. He even vaccumed the corners of the stairs before he used the cleaner. He we very personable and very professional. I would absolutely recommend this technician, chris, again. My carpet smells good and looks great. I was very pleased! The only thing i would change is a confirmation email the day before my appointment to remind me. Make sure we are both on the same page.

John called to let us know he was slightly delayed in traffic. He arrived very close to the appointed time, considering it was rush hour. He explained the process, gave both pieces a thorough steam clean. He was very careful about our wood floor. The process was neat, used very little water, and were dry enough to put back together later the same day. I like that the ingredients are people-friendly...no strong smells, just clean.

It went really well. There was no chemical odor, and dry time was minimal. The guy who cleaned was professional and friendly. The carpet was so stained, and he warned me that not all the stains will come out. It was okay, because I thought I would at least try cleaning before replacing. It turns out that 2 areas were good, but we ended up having to replace the other 2 areas. But we replaced it with confidence knowing that there was no way to salvage that carpet!

Great job. I plan to use again and would highly recommend this company to my friends and neighbors.

The gentleman arrived ontime. The carpets were cleaned without issue and were left very clean. The person was courteous and friendly. The carpets dried quickly because they do not soak the carpets to clean them. We were very pleased with the results and will call them again to have our carpets cleaned in the future.
