Oxi Fresh of Columbia Carpet Cleaning

I have two dogs and my carpets were stained from muddy paw prints and "accidents". The family room carpet was overly stained and had some dog odors. I purchased the odor destroyer for the family room. It's been a little while and I don't remember the gentleman's name (and don't have his card with me right now) but he was very professional. He explained the cleaning process, what the odor destroyer does and how long the process would take. My son was home so I left for work. When I returned home, I was astonished at the stains removed - especially in the family room. I wish I would have included the living and dining room area rugs. I would definitely use this company again (and may do so very soon!).

I actually waited a month or so before writing the review because I wanted to see if some of the nastier stains would bleed through the carpet. The provider worked with my schedule and fit me in with only a few days notice. The Tech was very nice and professional - overall we were very satisfied with the end result; however, there were a few stains they couldn't get out..... Very positive experience overall and if we need our carpets cleaned again we will be sure to use the same company and request the same tech.

I was very impressed with the service, but it was quite expensive. I would use it again but not for a while due to the cost.

I bought this Big Deal just after we adopted a new dog--who decided to pee and poop in a couple of our bedrooms! I cleaned the areas myself, but knew that I wanted to have it professionally cleaned as well. So after the new dog settled in, we scheduled with Oxi-Fresh to use our Big Deal coupon. Scheduling was fine, no issues, though the person on the phone didn't seem like the friendliest (sounded like the main # rather than the local company). I purchased an extra "room" over the phone because our square footage was larger than the Big Deal covered and I didn't want to cheat the company. I was informed that we had to move our furniture ahead of time, as that was not included in the service. I was told someone would call before heading to our house for service. On the day of service, the company did indeed call to let me know they would arrive on time...and they were spot on, showing up exactly at the appointment time. The provider was very personable as we walked through the rooms we wanted cleaned. He told us there was no problem with the cleaning that needed to be done and spent a few minutes explaining how their cleaning system works and how it is better than the "old-fashioned" cleaning systems. Then he set about getting the work done. He indicated it would take about an hour to ninety minutes to do the job, and that dry-time would be about two hours. He was very nice, did the work in the time he indicated, and we settled up with the additional cost. He showed me the product he used, and we discussed the green properties of his company and the non-toxic cleaning products. Although he educated me on his company and his product, he was not at all pushy about it, nor did he waste either of our time trying to upsell me on anything. After he left, my husband and I noticed a VERY slight smell, but I think it was actually wet carpet versus the actual products the provider used. And unfortunately, after four hours, there were still some wet spots in two of the rooms that were cleaned. When I say wet "spots," I literally mean there were about six or seven random frisbee-size spots that were WET. I would guess when he was spraying the stain protection, he must have over-sprayed here and there, which left the carpet wet. I've put a small fan over each of the areas for 20 minutes at a time to dry the spots out. The carpeted areas he cleaned look fresh and clean and the pile is raised again. However, the carpet fibers (after everything has dried) feels a bit crunchy. Not horrible, but definitely not soft like prior to cleaning (or when the carpets were new 2 years ago). I hope once we start using the spaces, the carpet will soften up again.

The technician was very polite and professional, he did a great job cleaning my carpets. I will definitely be using them again and telling all my friends!

From our first contact, John was very cooperative and friendly. He called when he left his shop that morning and then when he was delayed by traffic conditions, he called from the road to inform us he would be a few minutes later than scheduled. The work he did was very professionally done, paying special attention to various spots. He informed us about the process and what to expect in terms of drying time, etc. we will definitely use his services again and will recommend him to others.

John called about 30 minutes before he arrived with his arrival time. When he arrived, he introduced himself and gave me his card. We chatted briefly, and I showed him the rooms that I wanted to have cleaned: the basement, living room, dining room, master bedroom, and entry stairs . There weren't any major stains, but the carpet had never been deep-cleaned since it was new (over 10 years ago), so I thought it was time to freshen it up a bit John explained his process and got right to work; he was very professional. It didn't take long, and the end result looks great! I would definitely use them again.

The technician called and informed me 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment he was on the way. He arrived on time. He was very professional, He explained what he was going to do and answered in detail all of my questions. He didn't rush, he took his time cleaning in great detail. I am so pleased! After he left I literally ran to my phone to call my mother and sister who are calling for an appointment. I will never lose their number, I am now a loyal customer. Many thanks!

Chris was great, very personable and professional! He called to let me know he was on the way and would arrive in the half hour. He worked quickly & quietly, and cleaned my carpets so they looked almost new again. there was a specific area of concern in my dining room, absolutely disgraceful how dirty it was. i was ashamed to invite people in to that room because the carpet area was so dirty. Chris was hesitant to make any promises and raise my hope that it could be made to look new again but boy did he do an absolutely heroic job getting the dirt out. It looks pretty clean (and new again) to me and I am so happy!

The gentleman who came to do the work was very professional and personable. He worked both quickly and carefully. I have a cat and there was a lot of cat hair to clean and he did a remarkable job. He was thorough and explained what he was doing as he went along. Very satisfied.

Pretty good. He was very nice, but I didn't get much information on what was being done, how, what type of substances, etc. Didn't move any furniture, etc. He was polite though.

I booked Oxi Fresh using the Angie's List Big Deal and they were out the next week. The service only took an hour and the carpets looked new. All dirt and stains were removed and the carpets dried in an hour. I will use them for future cleanings because of their speed, professionalism and quality of service.

The service provider arrived on time. When I made the appointment, it was agreed that I would pay an additional amount due to a large oil-based stain on the carpet. Because of this stain and the obvious grime in the high-traffic areas of the carpet (which had never had any cleaning other than vacuuming in the 13 years I lived in the apartment) I assumed the carpet would look better, but not great. The service provider said that it would take about an hour, so I ran an errand in that time. When I returned, I was stunned at how clean the carpet was. I would not hesitate to use Oxi Fresh again.

My wife liked their politeness and professionalism. We have little basis to determine if the price was fair but she would use them again. They could not completely remove a stain but the appearance is better.

The technician worked hard to remove every stain, was courteous, phoned to tell us he was in the way and stayed in touch regarding arrival time. The carpets dried in one hour and looked fantastic. I will definitely call again when I need the carpets cleaned again- best Capet cleaning I've ever purchased!

Was supposed to clean 3 rooms but I was not able to be there and the person who let them in did not provide clear instructions. Later contacted the owner and he promised to give me credit for the additional room - he was very helpful. The company did an excellent job - got out spots I never thought would go.
