great job and on time, need really remove many pet stains

Setting up appointment was fine, came on time, nice person doing the work. The reason I gave it a B grade for quality was because I did not care for the cleaning method. Their web site says: Our carpet cleaning technology creates a powerful, oxygenated cleaning system that breaks down spots so that they can be effectively removed from the carpet pile. Plus, our green carpet cleaning is safe for children and pets, leaves no sticky residue, and has a fast one hour dry time! Turned out they spray some liquid "stuff" on the carpet, let it sit for awhile and then vacuum it up. I felt like the process only got the surface and not deep into the carpet. May as well have had one of those dry-powder type cleaning methods. After the carpet dried, I thought it felt rather stiff -- not soft like I would expect a clean carpet to feel. I did not have any deodorizer or other chemicals applied. Next time I will use a steam cleaner so I can feel it was cleaned down into the pile.

Tech arrived on time and the work was completed in under an hour. Tech was very friendly/chatty (which I liked), explained the process. The stairs/landing had ground-in black marks from normal wear and tear (no pets), but hadn't been professional cleaned in 8 years. Remarkably, it all came up and several weeks later, have not returned. Would use again (note: they have had repeated offers before on both Groupon/Living Social, so if you need them, check those first for a great discount)

Nice professional and prompt

The gentleman that came was very bubbly and enthusiastic about the service. It was a while ago, but I think he was done in less than 2 hours. Everything looked clean and no bad chemical smells and barely wet. He was punctual and very fast.

Note: this is more of a complaint against the National HQ than the local franchisee. When I called the Oxy Fresh number after hours, it went straight to their national HQ, and I was happy to be able to set up an appt for the next morning at 8:00. The $76 cost also hit the right spot for my medium-large sized Art silk (fake silk) rug and, possibly, a couple of carpet stains. When it was 8:13, I called the number wondering when the serviceman would call me, as mentioned by "National." They said I should've been contacted, already, so they said they would call to have the serviceman contact me. After another 15 minutes, I called back the number, spoke to the same person, and then got disconnected. After calling back again and National saying I should've gotten a call from the serviceman, I got one from him at that moment. "Ken," this franchisee's technician, told me that he wasn't made aware of the appt and already had a full day of appts. He said it was the 3rd time in 4 months this had happened. He was open to meeting me after work. When he came - on time, he realized that my rug was too thin/flimsy, and the cleaning tools would suck it up and shred it! While I appreciated the knowledge, National or he should've asked about that, ahead of time. He said that most Art Silk rugs are heavier. He was nice enough to spray a couple of stains for me. He also said that "Earl," the franchiseee owner, had previously brought up this and other issues to the National owner, but he didn't want to hear about it. Bottom line: 1. When making an after hours appt, double check with the local franchisee; though I don't know how; when the number dialed continuously gets redirected to National. 2. If you have a thin rug, take it to a rug dealer to see if they can clean it, perhaps, by hand. 3. It's unfortunate that National is ruining it for their franchisees and customers. Maybe, they can band together and establish a different company or go solo.

Everything was great! It was easy getting in touch to schedule, the gentleman arrived on time, and he got the chair looking like new without leaving it sopping wet. The mattress looked much better as well.

The carpet cleaning was fine, but it didn't get out all the stains. I wasn't expecting them too, but many of the stains came back. They use a system that uses very little water, but deep down stains have come back. Not sure if i'd do the same type of carpet cleaning again.

This will be 2 reviews in 1. I was a happy customer with Oxi Fresh the first time they came out (Sept. 2013) so I used them again in May 2014. I have used Oxi Fresh for cleaning my downstairs twice. Both times they did a remarkable job in getting pet spots up and heavy traffic areas cleaned. John was very friendly and professional . On both occasions John called me to see if he could come a few mins early. Which was great. Rather have someone early than late. I was very impressed how well my carpets looked after John was done! I will certainly call Oxi Fresh again when needed, and tell everyone how happy I am with the service I received. Thank you!! Melissa

Everything went great, this is the second tiem we have used them. We hope they offer more Big deals in the future, we will definitely take advantage of them.

A plus....everything that was said to me was done perfectly, Very professional, excellent work on the carpets. Ken did a great job.

I added an extra staircase and hallway, which increased it only a little, far less than originally expected. The technician was very nice. They were very professional, the experiences was very nice and stress free. I loved that their products used were pet friendly, so the dogs did not have to leave the house. I was very pleased with them overall.

I have a 12 year old dog who pees whenever/wherever the urge hits him, resulting in a lot of urine stains on the carpeting. Each time Oxy Fresh cleans it (about 4 times a year), it looks almost new. The carpeting is 13 years old and is starting to show some wear, but Oxy Fresh always makes it look fresh and clean and they don't leave the carpet wet. It's amazing what they can accomplish without long hoses, loud noise and very little water. Each of the men who've come to clean the carpet have been on time, very pleasant and professional. I'm a dedicated customer and am about to call and book my next appointment. Thanks, Oxy Fresh!

It went pretty well. The price was reasonable and I was satisfied with the quality of the work. The end result was good and we would use them again. They pre-treated and we were overall happy.

I would recommend. They were unable to get out paint stains though, although I'm not sure what I expected considering the non toxic products they use.

Very easy to schedule and very punctual visit. Terrific job cleaning. Fellow who performed the service was especially pleasant. My only gripe is that the folks who schedule service aren't cognizant of Angie's List pricing and that caused inconsistencies in the pricing. While I'm happy with the service and I think their pricing is competitive, more consistent price quoting is an area for improvement.

The couch and chair looks great. A very pleasant experience. The tect. Was very professional and I really enjoyed our conversation.

The technician was kind, professional, and they did a fantastic job. The carpets looked beautiful when he was finished and the entire process took less than two hours. I am renting out the condo my family currently lives in and needed a carpet cleaner to make it look great for our prospective tenants. The technician did a fantastic job and I will definitely use them again. We also have a dog and a small child. It should be noted that the cleaning products are enviro friendly so I didn't have to worry at all about the cleanser harming my family. No chemical smell at all. These guys are great. They come highly recommended for a reason.

The gentleman who came out to do the cleaning was great. He called to tell me he was on his way and showed up 5 min early. He was very polite and did a great job. His name was Chris and I would ask for him again. Carpets looked great. I have 3 dogs and 2 kids so our rugs get a lot of traffic. They dried quickly and looked very nice. My husband even commented on nice they looked. Great job, I'll call them again and ask for Chris.

We were very pleased with Oxi Fresh of Central Maryland's service. I would give them excellent rating. The technician was very courteous and very professional. The price is very reasonable. I think he was late but he did call in advance to tell us he was running late.

They did great job, and very professional. I would not spend that much money next time though, I have a 8 year old cloth sofa, and after cleaning it doesnt look any difference. I would have spend just half of it for general cleaning.

It went well. They (Ken) showed up on time and gave an evaluation of the home and what the needs were for getting the best bang for the deal I purchased. I was able to leave the house while Ken worked. He called when he was finished and locked up the doors afterwards. I was pleased with the work and the customer service.
