Oxi Fresh of Columbia Carpet Cleaning

It was great. It looks like new and I am very happy with them. They showed up, did an excellent job and the price was good. I have referred them to people.

The Good: A representative contacted me the same day that I purchased the deal via Angie's List and was able to accommodate one of my preferred dates/times. The morning of my appointment there was bad winter weather and the Tech. called prior to my appointment and informed me that he'd be late (not a problem). He arrived at the new time we agreed upon and was very pleasant, professional, and courteous. The carpet did have a "fresh" scent upon completion. The Not So Good: Although the total area of carpeting is less than 1,250 sq. ft. I was quoted a price of an additional $35 to clean a small hallway. I was actually charged $50 (the cost of an entire room instead of the hallway price). The main areas were satisfactory though not great, but the corners and areas along the baseboards were not touched at all & the carpet felt stiff after the application. Resolution: The Technician called back the same day that I submitted a review on their site apologizing for the incorrect charge and credited me the $50 charge. He also explained that the company is aware of the issue with their machines not being ideal for corners and along the baseboards and that they are looking at ways to address it. He also said that after vacuuming the "stiff" feeling would subside and even offered a second treatment free of charge (which I respectfully declined). In the end the experience with the company and Service Tech. was nice, but the finished product was considerably less than what we expected.

It was very good. They are quick. They don’t use a lot of water. The carpet is pretty dry when they are done. They remove all of the stains. One person came out with small machine. It's very efficient. We have used them twice.

Within minutes of purchasing the carpet cleaning service on Angies List, a representative called, confirmed the square footage of the carpet to be cleaned and set a date for the cleaning. Due to an impending snow storm, our carpet cleaning technician called the day before the storm to let us know he was planning to come to our home. The next day, when travel was restricted he called again and we both agreed to change the date. My point is that he was really diligent in keeping us up-to-date. On the new date, he arrived precisely at the arranged time (after once again calling to confirm) and began to work. He was very knowledgeable about the cleaning process and was able to identify the types of stains in our carpet and whether the Oxi Fresh process would be able to eliminate them. In the end, the stains disappeared and the carpets were cleaned and looked great, even though they are more than five years old. Oxi Fresh did a great job and we would use them again.

Very well! They did a really good job. He was great. I was extremely impressed. They definitely gave me my money's worth. He is one of the best workers that I have had here.

The carpets look vacuumed. However, none of the stains were removed and there are still spots on the carpets. In addition, the edges of the carpets are still grey. We were told that they didn't have the ability to clean in the cracks around the baseboards. However, this grey area extends a couple of inches into the room. So I don't feel that we got the result from this "cleaning" that we had expected. In addition, my husband asked the workers to lay down protective paper "walkways" when they were finished to protect the carpets while they dried, as the movers were arriving the next day. He was told that they don't do that, as it isn't necessary because the carpets would dry quickly. Our carpets are very good quality and very thick and, like every other carpet I've ever had cleaned, took 24 -48 hours to dry completely. My husband had to go out to Home Depot and buy drop cloths to protect the carpets during the move-in.

Very easy process from start to finish. Prompt response to an initial email and after a quick phone call we were all set for a convenient time. They called when on the way and were prompt and on time. Serviceman was very professional, courteous and informative about the process. The carpet looked good as new when he was done. They provide satisfaction guarantee for 8 days after initial cleaning, and after completing their online survey, we received a coupon for money off our next cleaning.

The dry process for cleaning my couch, that the operator recommended, did not clean as well as I would have liked. I would have preferred a stream clean.

I thought that it was a really good deal though I didn’t think that it was cheap. I thought that the price was right. I liked the fact that the carpets were almost dry when they were done. But all the spots that I was trying to get out were there a week later. So I wasn’t pleased with it. There was no additional charge.

It was a Big Deal purchase. There was nothing spectacular but it went well. They showed up on time and were reasonably priced. I paid a little more than the amount of the deal because I had additional services done. They cleaned up after themselves. There were no unexpected issues. They responded right away.

Great job. The gentleman was on time and quickly got to work when arrived. The carpets look and feel clean, very happy with the experience.

New to us home had good quality carpets, but considerable staining. Very professional, very reasonable--stains gone, carpets look great, no wet mess.

I purchased a Big Deal $99 for 4 rooms of Carpet Cleaning and Stain Protection, but I never got around to using it before it expired. I called Angie's list to see about getting a refund and they suggested I check with the company first because sometimes they will honor expired deals/coupons. I called Oxi Fresh, probably 6-8 months after my deal expired and they said that they would still honor my Big Deal! Unfortubately, I still never scheduled the service at that time. Fast forward to about 1 year after my deal expired. I called Oxi Fresh again, to see about scheduling a cleaning. The woman I spoke to was very nice and said that she would have to talk to her manager first to see if they could honor my deal. After talking to her manager, she said that they were no longer able to honor my deal (totally understandble), but that they would allow me to use the $99 I paid as a credit towards a cleaning! This worked out great for me since it turned out I only had to pay an extra $10 or so to have the work done. I was able to schedule the appointment for the following week. 1 worker showed up at the house as scheduled. He was professional, friendly, and punctual. It took him about 1 hr to clean my living room and dining rooms, which were very dirty due to pets stains and odors. I was shocked at how good the carpets looked when he was finished. They seriously looked brand new and the smell was nearly completely gone. The carpets were only slightly damp and he said it would only take about 1 hr for them to dry completely. I was very pleased with the way that Oxi Fresh was flexible with allowing me to use my Big Deal even though I had let it expire. Overall, they were wonderful to work with and did an excellent job with the actual cleaning. I will definitely be using them again.

Representative was VERY GOOD. He noticed that my furniture needed a special type of cleaning that his firm did not do. He didn't want to take a chance to ruin it. He suggested we get our money back and to contact him if Angie's List had any questions.

The service person was punctual and professional. He went above and beyond to ensure we were satisfied. The couch looks great and the resultsare better than we expected

Did the best job anyone has on them.

I thought the technician did a good job, considering some of these rugs had a bit of age on them. I was glad the process they use did not leave the rugs very wet, so they dried in a timely fashion and allowed me to stay on schedule. My daughter had used them at her new house and recommended them to me.

We were so pleased with the work done. Not only did the gentleman put in extra effort to clean the basement carpet, he also passed on some of his industry knowledge - he let us know of some possible mold issues along a few feet of one basement wall, and that the rust stains that would NOT come out would probably not pass resell inspection. As for the upstairs, though we vacuum regularly ourselves with a powerful central vac, still he was able to remove a large quantity of pet hair and dander before shampooing. We quickly agreed to an extra hourly fee for him to work on some square footage over and above the original square footage in the special deal. We would (and will) invite him back regularly.

Great experience! Had no difficulty scheduling the appointment. The technician called approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment to let me know he was on his way. He arrived ahead of schedule. Did a quick walk through of the areas to be cleaned and asked if I had any questions or concerns about the carpet or the process. The job took approximately 75 minutes and the carpet looks fantastic. Several noticeable spots are now gone and the carpet looks much better.

They did a good job. Russ is very professional and did a good job. The best cleaning we've had.

The technicitian was polite and did everything I asked but I didn't find the type of cleaning system to be as effective as cleanings I had in the past.
