The company wanted to charge me for more than what the big deal offered for extra stuff so I decided to get another estimate for the job. It ended up being a lot cheaper with another company

Mr. Noonan returned my call very quickly. I sent him photos of the problem and he was knowledgeable on how to fix it. He thought it might be able to be done at the minimum rate. The work was not able to be done on the originally scheduled day, but was done on the rescheduled day. I did not have to be there when they did the work. I arrived home to find the repairs completed and everything else just as I had left it. They had a question while doing the work and called me to make sure they were doing exactly what I wanted. When I received the bill, it was the minimum rate as estimated. I believed it to be a very reasonable price. Everyone I dealt with at the company was very friendly and professional.

It was a bit difficult to schedule this because we were told they got a much larger response than they anticipated. Once we agreed on a date/time things went very smoothly. They showed up on time and completed the work we requested within the 4 hour window. We had a small bathroom in the basement that needed to be finished so they installed installation and fixed one of the walls to match the existing ones. They did very good work - I would use them again in the future.

Noonan Construction has been prompt to reply, helpful and informative. But even with the deal, we were offered a better price with another A-rated Angie's List company. We have to go with the best price right now.

I bought a deal- $319 for a handyman for the day. Linda Joy, office manager, was friendly and worked to get me scheduled before I was leaving town. Don, the handyman, was friendly and did excellent work. I had a long list of jobs to do and wasn't sure if there would be time for all of it. Don was very focused though and worked through the entire list. I had 3 exterior knobs and locks changed (1 door required painting because the new handle fit differently than the old), 4 light fixtures changed, a floor vent cut and intalled, an awkward hole in the exterior basement wall fixed (this was time consuming) and some leaky windows caulked. I was very pleased with Noonan Construction and I will use them again.

This company provided excellent customer service from start to finish. Mrs. Joy was a pleasure to work with. Danny, the handyman was very polite, professional and knowledgeable. I look forward to working with this company in the future.

My only complaint about Noonan was a lack of timely communication before the work was done. Twice I contacted them about when they would start the work and I was told I would be called within 2 weeks. That call never happened. Finally, they simply showed up one day to begin work! It was not a date I would have chosen. None-the-less, they did excellent work, documented problems with photos, and did a good job cleaning up afterward. I absolutely would recommend them -- and I have!

He came out, spent a lot of time talking with us about what we wanted done for both the kitchen and bathroom. He seemed knowledgeable and was very professional and personable which I liked. The problem was it took a long time to receive the virtual designs. They came out in late last year and we recently received the kitchen design but have yet to receive the bathroom design. I felt they would have been more responsive had we been looking to remodel soon after the consultation but we were wanting ideas to price things out for next year.

It went wonderful! We have had such horrible service in the past from other contractors and were really dreading this visit. They seem to always leave our house with some sort of damage that wasn't there before. Not Mr. Donnie Mills! He was on time, which already put him way ahead of the others and he was so energetic about our list. He seemed to have a genuine interest in getting it done within the allotted coupon time of 4 hours and was very careful in all areas of our home and shed. He raced around doing other jobs while the drywall was curing. He was so polite and explained everything along the way. We will be using Noonan in the future and will be asking for Donnie!! We bought an Angie's list special for 4 hours of handyman service for $179 so that we could fix two problems in our house. A vanity bar light fixture over the mirror in our bathroom had been placed so high in the wall that it actually touched the ceiling. And the panel between the refrigerator and the cabinets in our kitchen had water damage and was rotting. We hoped that 4 hours was enough time to fix both problems. Noonan Construction sent Donnie Mills out to do the repairs and he was fantastic. He worked so efficiently that we were able to give him two additional projects that needed work before he ran out of time. And all the work he did was perfect. We were very pleased.

Don was early for my appointment and he was very nice and polite. He was straight up with me and he was very willing to do each project for me. I am planning to schedule another appointment to get the rest of my list done. He had to work overtime to finish the job and he appeared to not mind it at all. Overall I'm very pleased with his work and I would refer him to my neighbors, family and friends.

Always concerned our deck was not secured properly, Donnie Mills confirmed our fear. It took 7 hours, but a very dangerous structure was made right. He was pleasant, professional, talented, and hardworking. So impressed were we, that we had him return on July 9 for miscellaneous repair jobs at $75/hr. for 5 hrs. Again, he fixed all the problems. We will definitely have Donnie back when more household issues arise.

Donny arrived when he said he would, completed all the tasks required in a very workmanlike manner. Please with the work.

Company deferred the date of service way beyond the initial three dates.

Two days before the scheduled visit made almost 4 weeks ago, I received a call that the service person is ill and may not make the appointment. When asked when it could be rescheduled, this was unknown due to the volume of coupons sold and the appointments other than mine that need to be rescheduled. The morning of the appointment, the service person called and stated he could not make it due to illness. I need to have the work done asap so cannot wait. I want a refund on this coupon. Have another place in mind to do the work.

All the work couldn't be completed in the four hours but Donnie agreed to come back the next day to finish everything I needed to have done. He did an outstanding job and I will never use another handyman. The professionalism and workmanship are superior to any others I have used in the past.

Serviceman showed up on time. I was informed before hand that the deal didn't include materials, so I was prepared to hit the local hardware store to get necessary items. Toilet turned out to be less of a job than expected. No flange replacement needed. So just reseated with new wax and bolts. Then patched 5 different holes/warps in my drywall and installed new register in bedroom. Overall, could have gotten off cheaper doing it a different way, but my too do list just wasn't long enough to keep him busy all day. overall happy with the results

It was hard to get scheduled with them, and I was able to find a better deal elsewhere.

The company asked for my list of tasks on 5/28 and has not followed up with any appointment communication. The company responded on 6/09 to advise that I contact Angie's List directly for a refund.

Mike C. (Noonan) was friendly, fair and answered all our questions in a straightforward fashion. He responded to our request for a scheduling change without any hassles. He returned phone calls promptly. His crew showed up on time and worked steadily throughout the day. The clean up was excellent. While I can't evaluate the quality of the work, i.e., roof durability, I can say that the new roof looks very sharp. Check back with me in 20 years and I will weigh in on the warranty.

- Very well defined Big Deal criteria - Good communication from company - very prompt for appraisal appointment - well defined, quality proposal - I have several projects to execute before putting my house on the market, and the extra square footage of my roof over the Big Deal limit made the proposal too expensive for my budget.

Service and quality were excellent. The workers did an excellent job cleaning up the old roofing. The only issue I had with Noonan Construction was the lack of communication for when services would be performed. Initial scheduling was sent by email, but contractors did not show up as expected. Internally, the workers were given a different date. The day of service was interrupted by a storm. The work was not complete and no information provided on when it would be completed. The roof was completed 3 days after the work started. The gutters were scheduled for a later time, but I had to call and find out when. Details of the install (downspout locations) was not provided to the workers so a couple were installed incorrectly. They had to come back to correct this mistake. Overall I had to make several phone calls to find out what was happening next.

Mike Criddle does an excellent job of explaining options and pros and cons of various choices. Price was very reasonable for the scope of work performed. Each crew (one for roof, one for soffit and gutters) worked rapidly and did a good job.

He was great! He was very efficient and friendly.

I called the company before buying the deal from Angie's List to make sure my roofing job complied with the terms of the deal. Mike Criddle came over within two days with his helper to inspect my roof and give me a formal estimate. The work was completed a couple of weeks later. The roofers were fast, efficient and left my property very clean of debris. A great price and a great experience to get a new roof!
