Description of Work: Noonan Construction scheduled the tearoff of the old roofing and the installation of the new Shingles on a Friday and indicated that it might take two days because of the roof area. They arrived at 7:30 on Friday morning and had two crews and all the materials. By 6:00PM they had finished the job and picked up all the debris, and left the site in better condition than they found it on arrival.

Description of Work: It happens that I bought a deal for townhouse sized roof, not a single family home size roof, so this cost me more than I expected. Mike came out and talked through my options and I selected my shingles. Once I received my contract, I made arrangements to pay the deposit and waited to hear about scheduling, asking for a Monday if possible. When no word came in a couple of weeks, I contacted them again and was told that scheduling was underway and I would be notified that afternoon. When I still had no word, I asked again and received an email (from overnight) that they would be there in the morning. I called Mike, concerned that I had no notice (and it was a Tuesday, so I would not be home) but that I would board my pet. They did not arrive and when I asked, I was told that there was truck trouble and that they would return the next day. I asked that they delay until Friday and they agreed. Mike offered to cover the boarding costs. | |The work crew arrived on Friday and my roof looks great, but the scheduling and communication issues make me worried about arranging for any future jobs.

Description of Work: Noonan repaired a place in the ridge of the roof of our garage from some tree damage.... we had some trouble connecting for the scheduling, then they came out at a less convenient time than I would have preferred. The inside of the repair looks great, but the outside has a definite dip in the ridge where the repair was done. Roof trash was left on the roof. The roof doesn't leak so in that respect, the repair was certainly a success... but I don't think I'd go to them again unless experience with other companies prove to be worse.

Description of Work: The craftsman who came did a good job. I asked him about additional work and he took measurements and pictures. I never got a call back. I emailed to ask if company would be interested. I did not get an email response.

Description of Work: I purchased 4 hours of handyman service for $179.00 and it was well worth the price--I was very pleased with the outcome. First, Noonan Construction contacted me right away, and throughout the planning and "doing" phase, they kept me informed and up-to-date. They were fine with my changing my mind a couple of times on the "to do" list. (And a couple of the items I'd dropped off the list, thinking the list was too long, I added back on when Don Mills, the wonderful handyman, completed the other projects with an hour to spare.) Here's what Don did: installed a new utility sink next to my washing machine (and carted off the old one); assembled a desk and filing cabinet from Office Depot; put up new house numbers at my front and back doors; re-caulked around my bathtub, sanded some damaged baseboards; and inserted new bulbs in a hard (for me) to maneuver track lighting fixture. Don also cleaned up after each part of the project. It was a great deal!

Description of Work: The guy who came said he couldn't rebuild the area over our stoop because he thought it was one unit and we could buy it elsewhere. Ok, so he said he would do other jobs. We had him replace molding on the stairs (stops 1/2 inch short of where it should and where the previous molding went), molding around a attic ladder (stops 1/2 short of where it should), and a hand rail on the basement stairs (ok, a little too high, and not trimmed to the right lengths on the ends, so we had to do that). Noonan said this guy was a carpenter, but nothing he did was done well. I would not hire him again.

Description of Work: Excellent, quality service. The provider was timely, polite, and completed our projects very professionally. We would recommend this company to anyone needing small (or large) project completion.

Description of Work: Awesome, awesome, awesome. Donnie came over for the Angie's List deal, and figured out my attic critter problem that I've had since I bought the house 3 years ago. Of all the various handymen, roofers, pest companies, that I've had, he was the only one who took the time to get up in the attic crawl space and crawl around til he found out how they were getting in. Plus he was very good solving some smaller home improvement issues (broken flagpole, etc.). Noonan came back again to repair the damage in the attic (too extensive to fix in one visit) and their prices were very reasonable. Will definitely use them again. Thank you!

Description of Work: I purchased 4 hours for $179 and although I only used just over two hours because they were so efficient, Donnie at Noonan Construction was worth every penny. I had him install a new garbage disposal, two new master bath vanity faucets, a new shower fixture, repair a screen door and offer advice on a checklist of home improvement items. Donnie is a homeowner's dream - honest, hardworking, polite, knowledgeable, seemingly capable of doing almost any home improvement well, and focused on pleasing the customer. Prior to the visit I spoke with Mike Criddle and Linda Joy at the office and found them to be very knowledgeable also and willing to take the time to answer my questions and to understand how they could best meet my needs. Noonan Construction impresses me as a company that understands the importance of building and maintaining brand loyalty with its customers, one job at a time. I am looking forward to a longstanding relationship with Noonan Construction.
