There are usually two people here doing the work and they can come by when we are not home. I had lost my job last year so we had to put their service on hold and when we wanted to pick their service back up they were able start immediately without any hassle.

I have had a cleaning agency clean the house for years and they got lazy so I went to Angie’s List and found this other company, so far so good. I am very happy, but I had to call them on a couple of things but not serious things. I think the price is reasonable. She took awhile getting back to me, but I finally got in touch with her.

 + -1 moreThe team of cleaners showed up first on the wrong date -- then about 20 minutes late. They did work quite close to the full time paid for - a few minutes shy. They did very good work, altho language was a bit of an issue. Since I was pleased with the quality of their work, I told them I wanted to continue with regular cleanings, but (remarkably) I've heard nothing from them since.

 + -1 moreFrom initial comm, said would have two person, and service time would be 2-1/2 hours instead of 5 hours; show up with 3people said only be 1 hour & 45 minutes; it seem one person is constant on the phone conducting business of some sort, and inform me at end of one hour, only have time left to do one bathroom (tiny bathroom with 3 people in it) than said would be another $75 for one more bath. After words, my house still need cleaning...They use Angie's list to get business - one time business, giving bad name bad test for Angie's consumer.

 + -1 moreI paid for a package of cleaning, more than a 1 time clean. I spoke to the owner and told her my needs, such as English speaking women and people who are good around pets. Turns out, only 1 lady - speaks just a dab of English, so communicating with them was challenging!! Also, 1 lady was scared of dogs and asked me to put my dog outside (the entire time she was there). I told her No, it's 90 degree heat out there! To top all this off, the cleaning was Horribly done. Seems like they are very inexperienced. The owner did not have very good people/customer service skills, as she didn't even care to resolve the issues, she just defended her 'girls' for each matter that was discussed. I will never use them again, nor would I recommend them to anyone!

 + -1 moreHome Sweet Home cleaning service was very prompt, courteous, and friendly. The three ladies that came out to clean were very pleasant. They were quick and seemed to enjoy their work. They cleaned parts of my house I didn't want t touch (we all have them!) and they did it we'll. I'm moving and I've already asked them to do my move out clean & move in clean. One note of caution: the hours of cleaning depends on the number of people doing the job. For instance, I purchased 5 hours of cleaning for $99. Because there were 3 people, they cleaned for 1 hour & 40 minutes not 5 hours. This may be normal, I'm not sure, I'm new to hiring a service to clean my home. Just a heads up!

 + -1 moreThe initial communication was good. We finally decided on a date and they said they would get here at 8. They got here at 8:30( which is fine as my wife was working from home. What was disturbing from the get-go was that they immediately stated that they are booked for the day and only have 1.40 minutes to clean the house. 3 Ladies showed up and after talking to my wife proceeded to start cleaning based on " area of focus" This was the first time to use them and when I called the house to ask my wife how things were goin, I wasnt too happy to hear the possibility of rush Work. When i came home nothing in the basement area had been cleaned and the family room and upstairs dining room was neither cleaned or vaccumd. THIS WAS QUITE DISHEARTENIG because we have used other cleaners before and even if they said they could only stay for 1:40 ( which made no sense) , more attention to detail would have been appreciated. Not A Good Experience and to Sue The Owner, Please treat this as a serious business and not just a quick $$ turnaround. We were really hoping this would have been a good experience!

 + -1 moreStarbucks, so you can keep the card, though I appreciate the offer. I would be interested if anyone else who has used this Home Sweet Home Cleaning Services has had the same experience.
Description of Work: The first time 3 ladies came, only one could speak English and Spanish. So anything I talked to the one lady about had to be relayed to the other 2 women. They were suppose to clean the kitchen cabinets and dust the walls throughout the house. The walls are white and the kitchen cabinets are white laminate. One of the women proceeded in just taking a white (not so clean rag) sprayed it with something and started to wiped down the kitchen cabinets. When I saw all the streaks, I offered her the windex spray and paper towels. She proceeded to spray the solution on, but did not thoroughly dry them, so as a result when the light hit them, you could see the dirty streaks. The other woman wrapped some rag around a broom and started to dust the walls and anything else in sight. That procedure was awkward and did not permit them to hit every space. I then offered them my swifter duster stuff and showed them how to replace them when it got dirty so as not to redistribute the dirt on other surfaces. Whenever I tried to talk with them, they did not understand and so we would have to go through the interpreter. I did not like that experience at all. I did complaing a bit to Sue and so the next time she sent a different crew, but I didn't see any improvement. If I have to go around and watch everything they do, then I might as well take off a day from work and just do it myself. I spent $99 for 5 man hours and then $249 for 13 more man hours which I did not get but I was so frustrated and I didn't know if it was just me, or if that's what house cleaners do as I had never used any before. I apologize for not responding sooner, but I guess I just didn't want to get into this again. I admire you for your persistency in making sure you get feedback. You have more stamina than I. I don't drink

 + -1 moreI purchased a Big Deal and used it for cleaning last December. It was a bit of a hassle to set up an appointment, the owner Sue is not very responsive, and she forgets requests and details. The initial cleaning was excellent, and when I was contacted by Sue to set up regular cleaning, I had them set up monthly cleaning. At first the cleaning was excellent. After a few months, though, the quality suffered greatly. In August, a supervisor came with the cleaners to train them. She was shocked at the state of my house, and thought that it was an initial cleaning. We both let Sue know that many surfaces, including ceiling fans, under beds, etc. had not been dusted in a long time, and that there were other quality issues. This cleaning was better. I considered canceling service, but I was told by Sue it would never happen again. I decided to give them one more chance. They came again in September. The quality of the cleaning was terrible. After they left, I had to finish cleaning my bathroom countertops, dusting, etc., and my hardwood floors were barely touched. I will not be using them again.

Then I forgot we had more hours to use for quite a while and finally contacted them to set up the additional cleaning. I don't know that they would have gotten in touch if I hadn't remembered. They came a second time and that completed the service.
Description of Work: Cleaned the equivalent of 13 man hours - split up between visits and multiple cleaners.
