Environmental Systems is wonderful to work with, and the technician Tim L., was polite and knowledgeable about my system. They arrived when they said they would, and went to work quietly and efficiently. I recommend them all the time to my friends.

There was no problem with the installation of the new system and the subsequent service maintenance has been great.

We had a gentleman named Tarrance come out and do a Spring checkup on our A/C unit. He came out between noon and 2pm, as they told me. He was very professional and explained everything little thing that he did. I don't normally get that type of information, so that was nice. He cleaned out the A/C coil and by passed an older relay switch. He said everything else was fine!

I was very satisfied with how the spring check up of my heat pump was performed. Tarrence Morgan was very thorough and professional in performing my heat pump servicing, and I plan on requesting Tarrence for future service under my service contract. With confidence, I highly recommend Environmental Systems Associates for heating and air condition installation and servicing.

We had this company install new heating and a/c units a few years ago and we have been really happy with all of our interactions with them. I am always able to get timely appointments and the technicians are always professional, courteous, and able to do the job right the first time. We will definitely continue to use ESA in the future.

They were very prompt to return my call and schedule the maintenance. I am very satisfied with the quality of their service. My heat went out Saturday and they came out Sunday to bypass the circuit board so I had heat. The next day they came out for the maintenance.

When they are here they take care of anything that needs to be done on top of the semi-annual maintenance. I pay an annual fee and I pay for things that are not covered like filters and things like that. I've been with Environmental Systems Associates for about 22 years now. They tune the system up for the next six months. Once, I had a condensation problem and they were out here the next day and there was no charge because it was part of my policy. Environmental Systems Associates sent two guys out. They were the best guys in the world. They really are the most delightful people to work with. There's no downside. The price is reasonable, the people they employee are responsive and excellent, full of the earth kind of people. As long as we live in this house they will be our mechanical systems doctors.

It went very well. We've used them for over 12 years and it's always been great.

Environmental Systems Associates came out and diagnosed the problem the day we called them. They were able to bypass the circuit board until the one the ordered came in. We had air conditioning during a hot time of the year. Overall, we are very pleased with the service.

First of all, the person who took my call was friendly and professional and although she was unable to get me an appointment the day that I called, she was able to give me one first thing the next morning. The service tech was exactly on time, efficient, pleasant, and informative. He listened to my explanation of the problem, verified that the circuit breakers were off, quickly checked the system inside the house and then inspected the outside heat pump unit. He found two separate problems and was able to fix them both in less than one hour (dual capacitor was blown and refrigerant was low). He made sure that everything was operating properly and that my thermostat was set correctly before leaving. He was also careful about not tracking in any dirt from outside when he came in and about not letting my cat sneak out when he was going in and out of the house.

Provide me four replacement options and price levels. Their pricing tended to be slightly higher than some of my other quotes but I went with them due to their reputation and professionalism. Everyone always showed up on time and everything was done as promised. Scheduled 4-5 technicians to work on the job and had the entire thing replaced in 3+ hours. Left the place cleaner than when they started.

They found out that it wouldn’t work and they didn’t charge us anything. They are reliable and do good work. Their price are sometimes high.

I felt a little like Seal Team Six had descended on my house. (No one was in danger--this refers only to their efficiency.) They were punctual, polite, chatted politely when I attempted conversation, but were focused on the task at hand. They were finished and gone in under an hour. They cleaned up every scrap, left no trace behind. They were quick and professional with the paperwork and gave me a thorough post-installation tour and tutorial on how I could maximize the features of my new unit.

The service was fine, there were no problems.

The estimate and subsequent scheduling went flawlessly, the install took exactly the amount of time stated, the installers were efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly, answering all my questions. The only thing I could possible give demerits on was cleanup- just a few small pieces of ductwork strapping lying around and some dirt/grime on the driveway from the system they hauled away. The co-owner, Richard, and the staff , worked diligently to help me secure and submit the paperwork for any local/state rebates for which the system qualified. I will continue to be a satisfied customer and will be happy to recommend them to anyone.

The service was excellent. The person who answered my telephone call was pleasant and scheduled a date for A/C service. The technician showed up on time and efficiently performed the requested service. He thoroughly explained his actions. The technician was professional, thorough, courteous, and neat!

The heat exchangers were still under warranty and provided at no cost by the furnace manufacturer, but ESA charged $800 labor to install them. It took two technicians a bit under two hours to do it. This is a reliable company that you can count on to do a proper job, but the labor cost on this job was exhorbitant.

After last year's snow storms, an ice cycle fell on a heat pump that conditioned two little used bedrooms. The heat pump stopped working. Another HVAC company serviced it in May, 2010, and said the contactors need replacing - $300 to repair and $5000 to replace. They left it in running condition and it was doing a excellent job of heating/conditioning bedrooms. We decided to replace the contactor and capacitors ourselves (husband is an electrical engineer), but when we finished the job, the fan on the outside unit ran continuously. We called the HVAC company (not ESA) to fix whatever was wrong. They kept promising to come out, but never did. The fan ran continously all summer long. When the weather cooled off we disconnected the fan. Thanksgiving was coming and the bedrooms would be used by houseguests. Once more we called the HVAC company (we had spent $7000 with them to replace a much larger unit and had a good experience) in early November..again no show. Called ESA and they arrived the next day. Originally they thought maybe the contactor was bad, provided estimate to replace and I provided an o.k. to go ahead. However, upon removal, they found it had be installed backwards by husband, so cost was considerably less. ESA gets a 'A' for honesty and I know why they are voted as Howard County's Best!

They are always responsive. We have been working with them for the past 8 years. We have a service contract with them that includes two serivce checkups.

They have been very prompt. They are very professional. They do not over sell things. They explain the reasons behind why certain work is being done.

They asked questions about my current situation and equipment then surveyed and gave me 2 options with the pros and cons of both. A crew of 5 showed up on time and the supervisor explained in detail what they were going to do. They protected my carpet with covering and cleaned uo all work areas. I was also trained on future maintenance and informed about some leaking duct work and the options on correcting that. I used to own a field service business and really admired the top notch approach that ESA delivers.

They were great. They came right away and took all the measurements. They showed up on time on the installation day and did a good job. My basement was cleaner when they left than before. They were very friendly and informed me about everything. They offered me a very reasonable deal. They found out that one component did not work properly when they installed the heat pump so they called the office, picked up a spare part and came back within 2 hours to fix it. I have been using them for 10 years.
