Workers were prompt, courteous and professional. It was no nonsense from start to finish in regards to the project.

The painter arrived on time and was professional. However, the quality of work was awful-we had to contact the supervisor who came out and performed some of the work. The work performed by the supervisor was unsatisfactory so two additional employees came out: Ginger, the office manager & Roy's brother. Work had to be redone 3-4 times. For example, because of the poor quality, they had to resand & repaint multiple times. The workers seemed pressured to complete the work quickly without regard for quality. Ginger discounted the price because of our dissatisfaction. We still had to redo some of the work (i.e. resanded a few spots & had to repaint). I would not recommend the company to anyone who pays attention to detail. Prices reasonable but quality poor.

Everything was good. They did a good job. I was impressed because I thought it would be more expensive but it wasn't.

We called and sent a picture about the lock we needed opened. Jeff informed us the lock was difficult to find, but directed us to a website that sold them. We agreed that we would call him back once the lock shipped, and we did. We easily got an appointment with him. He not only drilled the old lock off, he also so kindly placed the new lock on (which we did not ask him to do), and gave some temporary screws for the handle plate. We were very pleased with the customer service and service he provided, especially after having another company not follow through on the service. We would definitely use this company again.

I opted for this firm because they were cheaper than an alternative quote even though their rating was lower than the other firm. This experience was not very positive. One painter dropped a paint brush with red paint onto my hardwood floor. The second younger painter decided to paint over dirt that was on the foundation. I had shown the dirt to the older gentlemen and he assured me that he would clean it before his partner got that far. Well, he didn't. They also got red paint on the siding as they painted the shutters and they dropped screws for the new kick plate into a gallon of paint.

We were very impressed by how punctual they were. We called in the morning and we had an estimate for the work by later that night. During the process, we received estimates from four other companies. Roy's pricing was significantly less than the other companies and they did a very good job of following up with us to see if we had questions or concerns during the house painting process. I would definitely recommend them.

Very prompt, professional, took time to explain everything they would do. Told me to pick a color and they would do the rest. As soon as I'm ready, will call them to geek started

They quoted me $2,175 and after a few hundred dollars discount, they came down to $1,975. The price seemed reasonable. I decided not to go with them because I saw some negative comments on Angie’s List.

The painters were professional and fast and very neat cleaning mess as they worked.

I called for an estimate and they came the same day, starting the next day. They finished on time and did a fabulous job. Their staff were very nice. This is the third time we've used them and I'd recommend for sure!

They cleaned up all materials and besides the new paint, you wouldn't have known they were there.

They arrived on time. The rooms look great and no drips or mess afterward. I am very pleased. Thank you.

Roy sent over two painters the 1st day.They were on time very professional. They did an excellent job. They fixed the cracks in the ceiling and nail pops. They covered my furniture, tape and put drop clothes down. The second day they were on time. They arrived around 8:00 a.m. but it was two new guys. I asked what happened to the other guys? They told me that the boss said that the other guys were too slow. So they did some prep work. They did some spackling but never let it dry. They painted right over the wet spots. I noticed they were working very fast. They told me they were finished. I paid cash..... Big mistake. I should have paid via Credit card so I could have that protection. I checked and they missed a lot of spots. I had them do some touch ups. I notice that they dropped paint everywhere. On the carpet, on the bathroom floor, in the tub and shower. They painted poorly around the fixtures, lights and light plate covers. I could have done a better job. A month later all of the cracks nail pops were back. I called the office to complain, the receptionist told me that she will call me back to set up a date. She called me three days later. We agreed on a date. She told me they would be there between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. I took the day off work and waited on them. They never showed. I called again. She apologized, we agreed on another day. This time it was a Saturday because I refused to take another day off work. Again, she told me they will be there between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. they never showed or called. I was really upset. I called the office someone answer and told me that I wasn't on the schedule. Please call back on Monday. I called on Monday.... We scheduled a date and they didn't show up again. This went on about a year. I called and threaten to take them to court. We agreed on a date. This time they came it was four men including the supervisor. He told the guys what to do. I am thinking.... Great I am going to finally get this resolved. The supervisor left and took all of the men except one. He did a poor job. It was horrible. He dropped paint everywhere including my new comforter set. I believe you are better off hiring a college student than these clowns. How did it go overall? If I was a teacher and giving then a grade........Hands down and F-.

Their service turned out really well. We have been using Roy’s painting for years. My dad first used them around 1997. At that time they painted the outside of my mom and dad’s house. Since then they have painted it inside and outside 2 or 3 times. They are the only people we have used. They are very nice people to deal with. I am now in the house that belonged to my mom & dad. I have two more rooms that I want them to come do. I would recommend them to anyone. They have been around for a long time and I have never had a problem at all that I can think of. They are located in Clinton. I first found them for my dad through the St. Phillips church weekly bulletin. Roy’s Painting was one of the advertiser sin the bulletin. They used to do wallpapering. They did do wallpapering in the bathrooms. However, they no longer do this service as I feel it went out with the times. I let them know that I am thinking of adding wallpaper again as it is coming back. I have never had them get paint on the carpet or anything; they cover everything up. I think they are really great.

They did a terrific job quickly and for a great price. I got an estimate within 24 hours, had the work done just 3 days later and the price was right. They were on time, thorough and clean. I was very pleased and will use them again.

They told me an estimate and told us that they would paint our home. The painters were not professional and were telling us that our job was under bid. While doing the job the foreman didn't showed up everyday like they said he was. We had drip marks on our walls and you could also see where they did not sand. We have bumps on the walls that you can feel because they did not do a great job. They had splatter marks on our floor. I was not satisfied with the overall job. I still have things that need to be done. I have contacted them to fix the work. They did come out to fix something but not everything. I do not see why they would not fix everything while they were at our home. The staff's energy completely different from the office. The office would tell us everything would be handled, while the workers attitude was very unprofessional.

The estimator, Bill Cummings came out and gave me an estimate for exterior trim painting and deck powerwashing/staining on Friday. After I explained that I wanted the work done ASAP, Mr. Cummings promised that the work would begin and be completed the next day, Saturday. I arrived at the townhouse at 8am but no one every came. I called the office and was told that no one was coming since they were backed up with other customers. When I asked when the work could be done, they stated that next weekend would be the best time. Instead of waiting another week, I found someone else who got the job done by mid day Monday. Basically I was lied to by Mr. Cummings in order to get the job, I don't believe they every intended to do the job on Saturday. I would have at least appreciated a courtesy call, instead of wasting an hour waiting for someone who wasn't coming.

This is the third time we've used Roy's and we just called for an estimate on another job. This time they painted my library walls and ceiling. There was lots of communication from the estimate to their prompt arrival. They did a precision job, looks great! Before this they painted a bedroom with vaulted ceilings. We wanted faint stripes on the walls.....it was amazing how the room turned out. At this point in our renovations we've outsourced a LOT of work...and had a lot of companies in from heating and air to electricians, etc. Roy's is by far the most professional, fair priced, and efficient. I highly recommend them!

The three man crew turned out to be 1 man and he could not promise to return the following day to finish the work. When I called the main office I was told I could not expect the work to be completed in the time frame promised me by the representative who gave us the estimate. The owner who clearly has issues screamed into the phone that customers just expect too much. The rooms were finally painted but I can't say I was impressed with the experience.

They came promptly and gave competitive estimates. They came with a big crew and did the work on time. The key was to have the supervisor there overseeing the crew. They had to come back to re-do some of the woodwork repair but they did so without making a pass. When I reported afterward they came back and promptly corrected the problem. There were a couple of areas on the top of the home, after they said it was good to go on there, they had checked the wood and according to them it was good. But on a visual inspection, I pointed out to the supervisor that a couple of areas did not look right to me. When they checked them they agreed with me. That is when I realized that I need to be vigilant and the supervisor was the key to have the men go back and be thorough. But overall I was satisfied with Roy’s Painting. The crew was very professional and I appreciated that. They were also extremely good with the windows and in helping to break the seals for the windows that would not open; some of them took a lot of work. They were very good with that. They repainted our deck and did a good job of that. They also re-did some wood trim around our sliding glass door and did a real nice job of that too. My big key is to have Roy’s Painting supervisor there to just keep everything moving smoothly. Even though we had them come back to do corrected work I think overall they did a good job. Their price was super cheap but the person I got another bid from was not licensed with a HIC and did not have valid credential for insurance and all that. I am thinking about using them again.

VERY SLOPPY. The cutting is terrible, portions of the trim were not painted. They slopped paint on my carpet and never wiped it up. They completely missed paint around the trim on doors, not to mention their shoes left my carpets filthy. They didn't use booties or take off their shoes. The previous color is bleeding through in numerous spots. They did some drywall repairs and left the dust everywhere, didn't even attempt to clean it up. On the last day of the job, one of the painter's spilled a gallon of paint all over our bathroom floor, which then leaked onto our bedroom carpet. This is a separate incident from the general sloppying of the paint on all my other carpet. The carpet is ruined. DO NOT HIRE.

They did a sloppy job. They state that they specialize in painting and drywall but their skill says otherwise. They didn't install the drywall properly and I had to have somebody come down and fix their mistakes. I was very unhappy with the whole situation.

I found him on penny saver. I didn't have to wait long for an appointment and it took 2 days to complete the job. They were late the first day by about an hour and they didn't do a good job. The workmanship in my opinion, was of poor quality. They did however clean up nicely afterward.

Roy's painting was efficient, no issues.
