Description of Work: Chris and his helper showed up on time, prepared in full to restore my gas firelog system to 100% usability. They dismantled and removed everything from the hearth, they cleaned the hearth, they fixed the pilot light problem, they restored the firelog grate and firelogs, they replaced the remote control receiver and remote control with a new system, and cleaned the work area and room; I was unable to tell that they had been in the room cleaning a dirty fireplace! Great job!

Description of Work: came to check starter on gas logs that would not light. He took apart unit and cleaned and vacumn all parts and reassembled. It worked after the cleaning and he added new lava rocks and gave a few basic maintenance tips as well.

Description of Work: I used Chris Hart's Gas Services for servicing two gas fireplaces in our house and would definitely use him again and would recommend his services to others. In fact this was one of the best experiences I've had from a service provider. Let me explain why.. I had communicated with Chris over emails to ask details about his services and to make an appointment. Chris was very responsive in his replies. At the time of the appointment, Chris was on time and was very professional. He inspected our two gas fireplaces and noted that one of them had a water leak which would need to be fixed before he could proceed with the service. Chris examined the other fireplace and said it honestly was not in need of service. I mentioned it had been a couple years since it has been used, so he started the pilot up for us, made some adjustments and took the time to make sure it was running right. And then here's the amazing part - Chris wouldn't take payment for these services! He said to just give him a call once we get the leak fixed and he will do the other one. This kind of honesty and forthrightness is not something you see very often and I truly appreciated it. I will definitely use Chris Hart's services again and plan to call him back as soon as I get the leak fixed.

So when the $99 gas fireplace checkup became available, I jumped at the chance (I've checked prices before, and $99 was a great deal.) They came within the time allotted, very polite and professional and were in and out in no time. I was rather embarrassed with all the dirt, dog hair and dust bunnies they vacuumed up. They did a great job. Now I have peace of mind, and a clean fireplace!
