We had a great experience with Meyer Electrical Services! We decided to string Christmas lights outside for the holidays in early December and quickly realized we would need to find another source of power to supply them. Within a few days of calling the firm, we had an electrician come out in the morning to complete the work. The electrician arrived promptly and was very friendly and professional, and the job was done within just over an hour. Meyer Electrical will definitely be the first company we call next time we need any electrical work! Thank you!

Two electricians showed up very promptly and were very professional and friendly. They were quick to complete their work but made sure to consult with me when on the installation, working with me on the best spots for the light and outlet. To schedule the appointment I purchased a deal for the parts and labor of the outdoor outlet, contacted Walt Meyer about also adding the installation of an outdoor light onto the job and he provided a quote for that. He was quick to respond via email to change appointment times for me and the final bill was exactly what was quoted.

I called the owner for a quote and received and appointment for installation for the next day. They were courteous and professional.

They were punctual and worked fast to get the job done, however, they left the debris on the floor as well as alarm cartons and old wiring. Also made a huge hole in one plaster wall to install the alarm - I wonder if they had to do finish work would they have made such a gash. But of course for these folks money grows on trees, like most construction companies they make lots of money and don't have to worry about where the money for the next repair will come from.

Communication and Service were excellent from Mr Meyer. Ben did an excellent job with the install. I will definitely call on you guys again!

The date is probably wrong. The service wasn't - it was as perfect as one could get. Friendly, informative, great advice. I can't say enough about them and I will ALWAYS use them. Always.

A young, inexperienced electrician misdiagnosed the problem and replaced a a breaker that was not faulty. I am not really upset by this. An inexperienced electrician made a mistake. I have had good experiences with this vendor before. One mistake will not stop me being a repeat customer.

I called Walt Meyer based upon his proximity and his angie's list ratings. We had a fire which involved the electrical stove, the fire dept recommended that we have an electrician inspect the wiring in the house to ensure it was safe to turn on electricity again. It was around 4:30-5pm on a Friday so I tried to find someone close by because of traffic concerns. Walt agreed to come citing $200-300 for the emergency call which I agreed to. He showed up about 30 minutes later, before I got home so he was received by my wife. He inspected the system and cleared the electrical system. I met him as he was finishing and he wrote up the task and I provided him a check payment. Everything seemed like it had gone just fine. However speaking with my wife afterwards, apparently Walt ignored her when he showed up, asking to "speak to your husband." She repeatedly asked for his name and was ignored. Understand that we had just had a fire and there were multiple contractors to include remediation teams coming in. When she asked for a business card, his response was "are you willing to pay cash on demand [for the job]?" Really? She never got a card or his name during the ~30 minutes of work. I would even understand if one of the employees or subcontractors behaved like this (maybe just a bad apple) but to have the owner of the company demonstrate such unprofessional behavior was unacceptable. I will not call this company again. I don't know if there were personal problems going on, he could have refused to show up on a Friday evening to do this task, there are plenty of electricians I could have contacted. I would rather he declined than show up with a sour attitude. I had contractors willing to drive 2 hours through heavy traffic that I declined because I needed to get the assessment done quickly. I have worked with plenty of contractors, it is appropriate to introduce yourself upon arrival and offer a business card or other identification, just the basics.

Came, did the job quickly, and was off. Would recommend the work.

Walt (owner) answered phone when I called and gave me an estimate on the spot for my small job. Two electricians showed up right on time. The electricians were fast, efficient, and asked questions to make sure they did the job exactly how I wanted. Overall a great experience. I am moving into a new house and have already scheduled for Walt to come out to give me an estimate for a heavy up and running new circuits.

My problem with this company is that they showed up over an hour late even with a two hour window. I was appalled. I had to take work off early, which is never easy for me, to sit at home. They never called or made any effort to say they would be late. I'll give them an overall D because at least they were responsive as far as setting up the appointment. Do not recommend.

Good electricians, at a good price, but the manager falls somewhat short on professionalism. Customers should be aware that they won't fix damage they cause when carrying out work. When installing the recessed lights they cut a hole in the ceiling larger than required to avoid wood board behind the ceiling plasterboard. Instead of patching up the hole as professionals would do, the manager somewhat cheekily and condescendingly argued that my house is very old and pointed to the contract arguing that they are electricians only and don't do this kind of work; they did not compensate me for the damage caused, either. I had to find a contractor to fill the hole at an additional cost. Very unsatisfactory conclusion to what was otherwise a quality electrical job. Prospective customers should approach them with caution when the electrical works require making holes in ceilings/walls, etc.

They didn't call or follow up with me for an appointment after I responded to their email and called them.

They came by and looked at everything. They were helpful with my specific concerns. They did a quick fix on a light that was making some noise and static.

We were happy with this company's responsiveness and price. They did not try to upsell us as at all, even though we have ancient electrical wiring. Also, we didn't have to wait around for them. We had an appointment time (not a range) and they arrived promptly. We've used this company before to install a new outlet and had similar results.

Ben and TJ were the technicians that came to help us with our problem. They were EXTREMELY professional and genuine. Definitely not the type of people that try to upsell or pull the wool over your eyes. They were great!!! I would definitely use Meyer again. I would give a perfect rating, but some of my problems could not be fixed the same day. I am also still awaiting a quote from the owner. This is my first experience using someone from Angie's List. So far, so good. Meyer appears to be a reputable company with great technicians that are very professional and personable. Thanks Ben and TJ!!!

They were at our home for a full day. They were very professional. Mr. Meyer's came out for the estimate and 2 of workers came out for the actual work.

They were excellent. They were very reliable and everyone did a great job.

I called several electricians and Walt was the first one to get back to me, on the same day. I already had gas plumbers scheduled and a stove, but had a late warning that I needed a regular 110v outlet to be ready under the stove. Walt was able to get a knowledgeable and very professional electrician out within a couple of days, which was fantastic. I took advantage to ask about another less urgent issue, but it turned out to be a much more complicated task so did not proceed with any work (the electrician could not do it the same day in any case). I am very happy with the responsiveness and service and will certainly reach out to Meyer again for electrical needs.

Nice guy, was a little late but was very responsive in terms of letting me know where he was. Came in, didn't baulk at the complexity of the issue, took care of everything quickly and in a professional manner.

Putting in a generator system is a big, kind of messy job. Walt Meyer started and finished the job on time. Has performed yearly maintenance satisfactorily and is available to answer questions. Picked him from Angie's list and he honored an Angie's list coupon.
