Description of Work: My electric panel contained an incorrectly wired multi-wire branch circuit. I discovered this on my own, and called this provider to correct it (I have decent electrical knowledge but have a healthy fear of opening up the panel!). This was an easy job for a competent electrician - it took him about 15 minutes to correct this and examine the panel for any additional issues. | |Scheduling was great - he came out at 6:30 AM the day after I called him.

Description of Work: Needed a heavy up done along with replacing some GFCI outlets. Walt was on time and professional but the job felt rushed. Unfortunately the main service line wasn't taped properly which ended up shocking me and blowing a hole in the top of the new meter box. Mistakes happen, but that could have caused serious injury instead of just a burn. The panel was always done in a rushed fashion, neutrals and grounds were wired to the same slot. Walt was responsive and came back and fixed both problems, but I was expecting a higher quality of work.

Description of Work: Much to our chagrin, we discovered that a new range could not be hooked-up on delivery day, as the old range was wired directly out of the wall and the new range had a plug. Meyer Electric responded quickly, came two days later (my preference) and connected a new outlet and had our new range plugged in, in less than 20 minutes.

Description of Work: After a series of power outages in our area, I decided to by a back up generator which keeps my family comfortable and allows my home business to continue operating. Walt recommended equipment and supervised the entire installation from delivery to approval by the local utility. He was on site when needed and was available for follow-up questions. I've used Walt's company for years for installation of ceiling fans to additional lighting and electrical repairs.

 + -1 moreThis was the fourth time I've called Walt Meyer in since I moved into my home two years ago. He delivers every time. At this latest outing he was able to run new electrical wiring in both of my bathrooms so that we could finally install vent fans to prevent mold and mildew. The job only took him and his trusty sidekick, Patrick, a little less than 3 hours. He got here exactly when he said he would and came in over $100 less than he estimated it would cost...and he gave me some good restaurant suggestions to boot!. Two years ago, Walt did a complete overhaul and "heavy-up" on our electrical system, installed a new electrical box, and added numerous circuits to the main floor. Approximately 24 months later I can't report a single problem with his work. He's the type of guy that will identify mistakes previous electricians or DIYers created, tell you about it, and fix it without the slightest bit of hesitation. He found something amiss in my attic during this latest occasion and addressed it immediately. He's a trustworthy, responsive, and professional electrician that I would recommend, without hesitation, to anyone. Heck, I've used him four times already.
