They did a great job. I got three price quotes for new hardwood flooring. KK Flooring was the only company that spent the time talking to me about the details (such as what type of framing did I want around the fireplace hearth) and making suggestions (such as staining the stair handrail). Rudy has a great attention to detail, made great suggestions, and frequently asked if I had any questions. The work was started quickly and was completed in a short time. The crew was professional. I am very happy with the high quality of the workl. I would definitely recommend them.

Based on their high ratings on Angie's List , we asked three companies for estimates. We chose KK Hardwood Floors because owner Rudy Arredondo submitted a slightly lower bid than the others, but more importantly, because he included extras like covering the landing and staining our hand rails, banister and mantle to match our new floor. In addition, Rudy uses a higher quality product (Impressions Collection) with a longer warranty that the others. My wife and I couldn't be happier with our new floors. Rudy and his crew are truly "floor artists." Their attention to detail and commitment to getting the job done right the first time is a rarity these days. They were also very courteous, considerate and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend KK Hardwood Floors and I ask Angie's LIst to award them a POH on my behalf!

Excellent job. Rudy and his team were efficient, professional, and timely with the flooring installation. Bottom line: The new floors ended up looking absolutely gorgeous, and the total time it took for the complete flooring installation was a relatively short five days, including the time for removing old carpet, moving and replacing furniture, etc. Rudy helped us select a high quality solid wood flooring and a finish that matched the wood banisters we already had in place. He was highly attentive to detail, and did not skimp on anything. He was even perfectionistic when it concerned details as customizing the first step of the stairway, ensuring smooth and seamless transitions into the adjoining rooms, and moldings. He had some nice customized options, too, such as solid wood floor vents that lie flush with the floor, to replace the standard ugly metal ones. The result was absolutely fantastic. Highly, highly, highly recommended.

The project went well. We were told what we needed to do and what to expect. Rudy was very thorough, including a return trip a few days after the work was completed to inspect the floors and answer any questions we had. The staff was neat, careful and efficient.

They know what they are doing. They came out and gave me a quote. I actually had to fix the quote because they had under estimated it. They came in and did the kitchen floor in one day which is good. They are going to come back and sand and stain the floor. I am from California and everything over here seems to be over priced.

Very good experience. Very quick to schedule a st.art date, then also very quick to complete the work. People who have seen the transformation in my floors have asked for KK's contact information, because the job looks that good. Scuffs on baseboards were minimal. Price was very competitive considering the amount of work to do. Overall, no complaints.

Very professional and efficient. They looked over our lloors, gave an estimate on repairs and also recommended additional steps that made a huge difference in improving the look of the floor. They were very careful around our new paint, and were able to meet our tight deadlines. They did a great job, and we would certainly hire them again.

Rudy of KK Hardwood Floors (not K&K) was recommended by my contractor who did a major addition to my house 5 years ago. Rudy was very responsive and arrived as promised to provide an estimate on sanding and refinishing the 80 year old wood floor in my kitchen. He immediately pointed out the different woods and finishes on my floors (due to two remodeling projects over the last 20 years). He suggested replacing some wood that the previous owner had put in a transition threshold between floors--should be finer grain white oak rather than wider red oak. Rudy remarked that they can do anything with wood (only wood) which led to two smaller repair jobs in the house as well--a rotted threshold on the back door and paneling repair in the basement. I had intended to have the work done next month but turned out Rudy had just had a builder change scheduling and he could start the next day and I was off all week tending to stuff like this--this was at my request/inquiry, not his. They arrived the next day and worked three days to sand, stain, and seal the kitchen floor. They did an excellent job, were very conscientious,careful, professional. I recommend them highly and will be spreading the word. Always nice to find good folks like this.

We were so impressed with the work they did. We received three quotes for the job. All were in line with one another. K&K may have been $200 more expensive than the other quotes. Patrick came out to our house twice prior to us signing the contract and we were very impressed with his professionalism. he explained the process to us so and gave us a quote on the spot. He was always available to answer questions and did so over the phone as well as came out on a second occasion to discuss some questions we had. K&K repaired some areas of flooring where we had removed walls during our renovation. One guy came out and spent the day repairing these areas as well as a few other areas. he did such a fantastic job that after the floor was sanded and stained you really could not tell which areas had been repaired. He completely cleaned up our space and locked up after himself. One funny incident that occurred was that our painter came by the house to check on something but had forgotten his key. The K&K guy would not let him enter our home as we had not left him any word that someone was going to stop by. Although our house was empty as this was a complete gut of a 1920 home, we did appreciate that the contractor took the security of our home to heart. The crew that came out to do the sanding and staining started the work on Thursday and completed it by Tuesday/Wednesday (including time to dry). Their work was exceptional. They also installed shoe molding that we wanted painted white which they took care of. All in all, we would not trust future flooring jobs to any other company!

Rudy came to my house to do an estimate and explain the process. He also made recommendations about shoe molding, etc. The hardwood was ordered from Lumber Liquidators and installation was scheduled. The first installation was completed and there wasn't enough hardwood to complete the job. This was an error on my part. Once the remaining hardwood came in a second installation was completed.

Their estimate was for $4700 or $4900 with a 10% discount for Angie's List members. It was okay. I did not go with them because I chose another service provider who was a general contractor and they would be taking over the entire job. They came out okay and they were fine. They were punctual and everything was fine. Their estimate was not clear. When they added down the numbers, the total was the addition of their numbers in the estimate and if I had put the 10% discount, then the total number would be lower than what they had calculated. It was not clear if the Angie's List discount was in their estimate. The way that it was presented was that it was not yet in but I think that they had already put in the numbers. I don't know whether I am making myself clear.

Had old scratched up hardwood floors and wanted them sanded and repaired but 3 floor companies advised me the floors were too thin and suggested new floors. I had decided to carpet instead when i was referred to KK Hardwood Floors by a home designer who recommended them highly. I met the owner Rudy and he agreed the floors were thin but not impossible and that he assured me he could make the floors look brand new. Rudy's expertise, professionalism and availiability was above reproach. He and his crew worked diligently and the stairs and entire second floor (5 rooms w closets) was completed in less then a week. The floors are beautiful and do look brand new as promised.

They were very efficient, direct, responsive. He readily answers his cell phone, always reassuring and polite. They did an honest job with 2 helpers. We are extremely pleased.

Arrived on time ..did the job in the time stated...left the floors looking new again....very neat and tidy work
