This company is extremely professional and values their customers. Dave came to our home after the initial contact and helped us pick out our carpet. My husband and I went to the Rt 40 warehouse and picked out our area rugs. When we discovered the rugs were discontinued, Dave took the time to contact the manufacturer to see if we could still get the rugs from remaining merchandise. Thankfully, we could and they were the perfect choice. Phil, in the installation department, is a gem! He worked with us to provide a installation day/time when we would be available and when things went a little rough with the installation he worked to make things right. Though the installation consisted of somewhat of a "comedy of errors," the company did everything to make it right! On the day of our install, a piece of floorboard with nails was left in our driveway and it got caught in our front passenger side tire and subsequently was flat as a pancake. When I called Phil to explain what had happened, he was kind and listened to my concerns and when I asked for compensation for the tire, the company did not hesitate to provide a check. Even when there was a problem with the mail and I did not receive their check, the company put a stop payment on the check they sent and I came to the store to pick up a new one. They listened to my feedback and treated us with respect and dignity. I would definitely use them again.

When the workers came to install the carpet, they were very good and professional. It did take longer than expected for the order to come in. Once they did arrive, they got the carpet installed quickly. They were neat and cleaned up well after themselves. I was very satisfied with the work.

Everything worked out fine and their prices are better than competitors. I feel that I receive better service with them for a great price. They have always arrived when they said they would, completed the work, and cleaned up well after themselves. They did a very good job.

We chose them first because they are local. Their pricing is very good and they offer good deals. They are very timely in delivering and getting stuff to us. They are the first company we go to for any rug or remnant purchases. We have very good experiences with them.

Their cost was less than the other estimates I received. I chose them because they had the carpet in stock and I didn't have to wait long for the installation. They were able to complete the work in one day. The sales person and installers were both very good and helpful. Everything turned out fine.

Overall, the process went well. I only have two complaints. First, we are remodeling our family room and the contractor had installed new 3" baseboards and painted them. The installers marred every one of the baseboards during installation. There is a black horizontal line, as well as some brown colored marks, on every baseboard an inch or so above the carpet line. We now have to have our contractor come back and fix them. The second thing is our family room is 11'8" wide so we didn't have to worry about a seam since the carpet was 12' wide. Our family room is 18' long. However, they charged us for 21' which I think is unnecessary. I haven't bought carpet in awhile so maybe that's what they do now, but I paid for 36 sq ft of carpet that I didn't need (12' wide x 3' long).

The commercial guys were very helpful. They ended up custom ordering the carpet for me. They gave me exactly what was needed. I had one glitch with the residential guys as they were supposed to have the commercial guys call me and that was never done.

Sales experience was fine. Installation was scheduled and performed on the day specified. It was the installation that is the cause of our dissatisfaction. The men ripped up the old carpet on the stairs and hallway causing a very small tear in our wallpaper that could have been avoided had they looked at the walls and noted the wallpaper as something to be worked around with care. After removing the carpet one of the men threw it out on to our front lawn in the garden area breaking a yard ornament. When I drew the crew chiefs attention to it he said he would fix it and I said fine. After he left I inspected the "repair" and found it to be an extremely poor attempt. We also found an area on the wall going up the steps where it looked like the wood baseboard was his hard with a hammer knocking the paint away and also cracking the plaster wall next to it. The salesperson said that we would have to call the warehouse and deal with them. They sent a representative out to inspect the damage and repair the lawn ornament. I told him I would be satisfied with whatever he felt was fair compensation for the wall repair as it had been about 10 years since it was last painted and I did not have the paint anymore and that I preferred to have our regular painter do the repair when we next get the room painted (hopefully this Fall). He took the lawn ornament with him and said he would return it by the end of the week. That was on April 1. We did not hear from him and so I sent an email to the warehouse in the morning of April 12. When I received no reply I called the warehouse that afternoon to find out the status. They said the lawn ornament had been repaired but not painted and that he would return it early next week. I asked about the compensation issue and was told that he would address it when he came by. On April 16th the man came by with the lawn ornament. As he was moving toward the door to leave I asked him again about the compensation. His response was that they were not offering anything on the stair damage because it was old paint and probably already cracked and pulled away. The more I think about it the angrier I have gotten because he basically was saying that we were making up the damage. My wife called the store manager to let him know of our displeasure as we have spent a considerable amount with Carpet Land over the years and thought their handling most unprofessional.

They installed wall-to-wall carpeting in several rooms in a home I was selling. I also purchased area rugs and padding from them.

I like that Carpet Land offered the right rug and made the process quick and efficient. Also they offered fair pricing. In fact, I don't think I would have purchased the rug without the discount. The rug I selected was high quality and is extremely beautiful.

Carpet Land, Inc. has a good selection of carpets. Salesman was knowledgeable about the products, professional and well-organized. Their showroom is quite modest on the outside, tucked behind another building on Route 40 in Catonsville., with minimal signage. You'll have to have sharp eyes to spot their sign. CARPET INSTALLERS WERE THE BEST. They did an excellent job both with the installation and cleanup.

Excellent service and product. The installation went smoothly. The price with the Angie's list discount was excellent.

The sales person made a helpful suggestion of not installing a thick pad and carpet, as the residents are elderly and would have trouble with balance. The initial estimate was for 300 sq ft at a little over $1100. I told the sales representative at that time I had a $300 Angie's coupon. When the measurement guy came out the cost went from $1100 to $1400. Coincidentally, the same amount as the coupon. I had to go back to the store twice to correct the charge application for Wells Fargo. I presented my $300 Angie's list coupon during the second visit. The installation date was within the time frame communicated. The installers were on time and worked cleanly, courteously, and effectively. There was an additional charge of $80.00 for removing and re-installing the quarter round molding, which was unexpected.

We have been very impressed with them, their installation, quality of carpet and everything.
