Description of Work: Delivered a load of fuel oil after account was closed and refused to acknowledge error and wanted payment. We eventually worked a deal where I paid a discounted price. I only did this so I would not have a negative entry on my credit report

Description of Work: They keep the tank filled, don't attempt to rip you off on the price and claim (like others do) that they'll jack their prices after a 'honeymoon' year. They have been fair and do not overcharge for the area. |Note: My daughter's fuel oil company in Maine charges about 50 cents a gallon less, sometimes more, but this is the Baltimore Metro area. Petro is the best thing going in this region.

Description of Work: I was initially informed that the propane gas line to my fireplace could be installed a certain way without coming through the wall and creating an ugly "eye sore" and I was over charged for propane. The cost of oil is really down but I was charged at an inflated rate.

Description of Work: I was given an estimate to replace the cartridge for a Taco circulator for a oil fueled hot water furnace.The part costs $65. Petro itemized the part to cost $336 bringing the total cost to $432. A modest mark-up and labor charges are acceptable....this was out of the question. In addition, I have a maintenance contract and normally a service tune up is scheduled during the summer. Petro did not call to schedule this( which is part of the service contract). I called and they said the next appointment was in February, 2016 !...after the majority of the heating season is over >...."service" means ALMOST NO SERVICE.

Description of Work: Petro Oil supplies heating oil to my home located in Upper Marlboro, MD. On several occasions the oil has run out (as my 1000-gallon tank is below ground and measuring the amount remaining in the tank is virtually impossible) in the Winter; and they were available by phone and made a delivery within hours of the call(s). The amount you pay per gallon of oil depends on how much you request. They do attempt to work with customers to offer the best price possible.
