Steve was on time and did trouble shoot to determine the problem based on what I told him. He did repair a loose connection and open the valves which allow the air to flow to all of the rooms in the house. I feel he overcharged for the service provided. He said he had to top off the Freon but the unit has no leaks. He charged me $180 for three pounds of Freon. A 25lb cylinder of 410-A Freon runs approximately $91.25- $108 from General Supplies.

I hade Stevie install multi ductless system by Alpine from the beginning had problems bring different people , not arriving on time stated if he say 9am look for him around 10:30 am or between 12- 1pm look for him at 2:45pm today. Had 4 units blowing heat came back to fix the problem now no heat. Telling me you no they won't put out heat I'm like really 4 was putting out heat, plus same units at work blow heat on the coldest days we have had so far. Don't think Stevie knew how to work these units so my family suppose to be cold because of you lack of knowledge of Alpine units. Then to top off today he came didn't fix anything and left without saying something called didn't answer but texted me say it's charged nothing else I can do . Yes it is give me my money back for not completing a job you were paid to do will see you sometime soon paper trail is what it's called remember that and you haven't anchored the outside units. Job been going on since Dec. 6 2017 it's now Jan. 13th 2018. Now my system has to be Evacuate & Recharge up to 5 tons because Stevie told me he released Freon do to being over charged when 1 unit was the problem he turned all units on got false readings I guess not following Alpine directions the company units brought from. I would like to share my horrible experience with a contractor name Steve McCain. Where do I start first, lets see my husband wanted to get installed these multi-ductless heating and air conditioning units. He had Steve McCain come by and give us an estimate and see if this was a job in could do in reasonable time frame. Both parties agreed upon the contract that it would take up to 3-5 days and completion of job remainder payment. It was all understood. My problem from day one of the job was he was late without an excuse. He was to start at 8am but arrived at 9:30. Not off to a good start. Day work #1 he did not have all the tools he needed to start the job. He borrows my husband ladder because he claims he did not have one with him. My husband allowed him to use the ladder but after that day it was an ongoing of borrowing tools. It got so bad that he used my husband drill from his tool box without permission. My husband called him on his unauthorized use of his tools and it was downhill from there. A week worth of work turned into one month. He would work 1-2 days a week and excuses would come why he could not come. Shucks it was one whole week he did not come because of personal matters. Back on track when he was in our presents of working the job, he was messy and did not clean up afterwards, always had a different worker with him when he worked. He always had to leave early almost every time he had to work. What bothered me the most through this ordeal is he could not show a license , proof he was able to this kind of work.. Upon his so called completion of the job, he never got our units up and running like they were supposed to. He had to come back seven times to fix the issue. He never fixed the

Appointment made late Saturday night after waiting 12 hours for ARS who did not show up or call. Mr. McCain called to confirm appointment for 9 to 10 AM Sunday. He got here at 9:05AM. Checked my upstairs HACV unit got me squared away in less than one hour. Will add his contact info to our HOA website as recommended vendor.
