Description of Work: Overall serivce was good. However in the regrouting of the the laundrey room they would not move the washer and dryer to complete the job. They said per their contract they could not do it. If this was so it should have been stated up front/or because of the light weight and wheels I (a woman) could have moved them. As in most thing, my husband can home and ask why did they did not complete the job? They said upon completiton " By the way we could not go behind the washer and dryer". But because it was a long day and the partial job was done well, I did not want to ruffle feathers. But remember I still have a half done laundrey room . My husband was upset, and said i shold have call them back?? but at this point i am glad to belong to :angies' list to kinda get it out.. One of the don't I have learned is to not let the service people get out without making sure everything is ok!!! and stick to my guns!!!!

+ -1 moreThey are great. They are prompt and professional. They do an excellent job. They are really good, I have used them everytime for couple of years. They are great but there is room for improvement, so and ldquo;Band rdquo; on overall experience. I think they are really fair in their price. I would use their services again in the future.
Description of Work: I use the services of Stanley Steemer. The last time I used their services was during fall. I used to have them come out once a year. The price was $200.

+ -1 moreThey did a good job. Their service was excellent. They were very professional and on time. I had no complaints. They came in and got the work done quickly. They were effective and efficient. It was definitely not as expensive as I thought it would be. I felt like the price was low.
Description of Work: We used the services of Stanley Steemer in August of 2009 for carpet cleaning. They did the family room and bedrooms. It was about 3 to 4 rooms.

The service people were professional, accommodating, and went out of their way to explain to me every step in the process. The price was also reasonable in both cases. I could not have asked for better service.
Description of Work: Cleaning of carpets and addressed water damage to carpet in basement, including pressure wash of cement and removal of carpet.

+ 0 moreThey did a good job but I found it distasteful when they gave me an extra sales pitch after they entered the house. They were a little aggressive with it but after I told them I wouldn’t do it three or four times they quit and did their jobs. I felt like I had to be rude to make them stop which I do not like. I had already turned down those services when I booked the appointment. They did provide me with an auxiliary product that is a spray-on carpet and upholstery cleaner which I purchased. They came within a day or two of my call and they showed up when they were supposed to. The job and service were excellent so I would use them again but I need to be mentally prepared to be rude when they come in.
Description of Work: Stanley Steemer cleaned my carpets about a month ago.

+ -1 moreI had to ask the techs to redo soiled areas on the arm of upholstered chairs and also had to ask to redo the dining chairs. Also, the quote was incorrect for the sofa and upholstered chairs. Plus there was a surplus of water on the floors which I got up.
Description of Work: Technicians cleaned sectional couch, 2 upholstered chairs and 6 dining room chairs.

+ -1 moreI had a very positive experience. Prior to the cleaning I would sneeze and have itchy eyes every time I spent time in either carpeted room, after cleaning, my allergies really improved. There was some ''browning out'' of our carpet after the initial cleaning, but after I called, the crew returned and re-cleaned the problem areas at no additional cost. Employees seemed very friendly and enthusiastic about their product.
Description of Work: We moved into a house where the previous owners had a dog and I am highly allergic. Two large rooms are carpeted in Berber carpeting. Stanley Steemer cleaned both areas.
