Description of Work: I was hoping to find a "new" chimney sweep company for the future and was disappointed in the company. I felt that they did the bare minimum of work required and did so in a perfunctory manner - like they were doing me a favor, probably because of the Angie's List price. They didn't seem interested in developing a new client, which I thought was the purpose of the promotion. I would not contact them again.

Description of Work: First Class Chimney performed a chimney sweep and inspection. We purchased a deal that included this work, along with a $250 credit to any needed repairs. Service was scheduled promptly and on the day of service they were able to arrive earlier, and called to confirm whether this was ok with us or not (it was). They were very courteous and professional. If there was any mess left behind we didn't see it - very clean! They showed us pictures of the inside of our chimney and explained how we could repair the inside (as our house is pretty old and the chimney has never been replaced!) We did not choose to have any repairs done at this time as we don't plan to use our chimney too often yet. | |By sweeping our chimney, we were able to confidently have our very first wood burning fire in our fireplace since purchasing our 1957 home three years ago. Description of Work: I bought a Big Deal- $99 for $300 of masonry repair. They came out two weeks before the work to see what I needed (repair mortar joints in steps and retaining walls, replace stone veneer on steps) and gave me a price. I set up a date and time with the office and Manuel showed up right in the arrival window. I walked him around the house to make sure he knew where all of the repairs were located and he got right to work. As he was finishing I found one repair I had forgotten about and Manuel fixed it too. I am very pleased with the work.
