This company did an excellent job repairing two chimneys at a reasonable price.

First Class Chimney workers were on time, polite, and very neat. Everything was covered by cloths so as not to allow any dirt in the living room. After the cleaning, they used a camera to show us the inside of the chimney, where the lining had broken and many pieces had fallen off altogether, allowing smoke to go through into the basement. The relining was done and we still had a problem, so the company immediately returned to do more sealing. Unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem, and it became clear that moving the damper from the bottom of the chimney to the top--usually not a problem, but in our house it was--was the cause. A new damper was ordered and installed, but did not fit quite correctly with our very old fireplace, so a second was ordered, installed, and works perfectly. The company at no time complained about the extra work and was completely dedicated to solving the problem at no extra charge. We were entirely satisfied with their solution and their attitude.

Excellent from start to finish. Tony made a complete inspection and provided me with a thorough explanation of what needed to be done. The workers arrived on a timely basis and worked non-stop. Manny did the majority of work, and his expertise and workmanship cannot be surpassed. Because of the extent of work, the job took two days. I had interviewed 5 firms and choose this firm because of their expertise, ratings on Angie's List and the Better Business Bureau and their fairness in pricing. I highly recommend them.

Manny and Company was great to have at the house. They arrived and finished on time. The job site was left clean at the end of the day and when they finished. They quoted $3,000 less than other companies.

Called them for a simply chimney sweep and got pulled into doing some minor repairs. I am not a chimney expert and cost was low enough I just did it.

Generally well. They called to tell us they couldn't make the original appt. They completed the work in a professional matters.

It was a two person crew. They were polite and went right to work. The cleaning portion went off without a hitch. When it came to doing the chimney inspection, they said they couldn't do it. While my house is two stories, they considered my chimney a 3 story chimney and didn't have ladders high enough to reach. So no inspection.

This company is punctual. They might give a 3-hour window but they'll show up right at the start of the window and they get right down to work. I have had no problems at all with any of the work that this company has done.

Tony and his colleague showed up and got straight to work. The men were careful about tracking any dirt into the house and used shoe covers. The job took about 30 minutes to complete and Tony was a wealth of information on how to use the wood burning fireplace and gave suggestions on using starter wood . They inspected the fireplace and advised I needed two tiles to be replaced and gave me an estimate; along with the $150 credit from the Angie's List purchase the estimate was less than the purchase price for one tile from Home Depot. I was happy with the overall service and would use them again.

I purchased their big deal for chimney inspection and cleaning ($99). They contacted me promptly and we arranged for a date for the service. They arrived on time and began the service quickly. Both the office staff and the chimney sweeps were personable and professional. Following the cleaning and inspection the senior tech recommended replacing the existing chimney crown and replacing some missing mortar between flue pipes. I accepted their recommendation and estimate ($240, which included a $150 credit from the big deal) and we arranged a second visit 2 weeks later. I was not able to be on-site for the visit, but it was not required. They arrived and performed the repair work as scheduled. I arrived home to find the work completed and the area cleaned up. The crown looks a lot better now. I discovered a masonry hammer someone had accidentally left behind and the company sent someone around to pick it up when I called.

This was ok. It took a long time for them to come out and they canceled it twice. They wanted to cancel a third time and I kinda went off a little bit and they came. To improve they should communicate better.

It went well. The technician, Marco, was knowledgeable and efficient. They worked very cleanly. They did a thorough inspection of my chimney. They were the first Chimney Sweep company to go on my roof and inspect from the top to the bottom.

The service was great! We used an Angie's List deal for the cleaning and received a $150 credit toward any work that may be done. Cleaning was scheduled between 11am-1pm, but their office called around 10:15 saying they were ahead of schedule and asked if they could arrive early. Cleaners arrived at 10:40 and were done by 11! Obviously I can't see the inside of the chimney to verify how clean it is, but the two gentlemen that serviced our chimney were very professional and worked well as a team. They provided an estimate for some bricks that were cracked on the exterior of the chimney that need to be replaced, and repointing the shoulder, as well as waterproofing the exterior of the chimney. We're going to have another estimate provided just for cost comparison, but all of these items were things we were already aware needed attention, and I believe they are very honest in their work. I'd be happy to use them again!
