Description of Work: They installed siding on a 4 BR Colonial. They were a little messy as I'm still finding nails in the yard about a month after the completed work, but they finished the job fairly quick (save for a couple of rain delays). I like how they took the time to run coax cables under the siding to give our FIOS runs a cleaner look. | |Ron, the job manager, was a pleasure to work with as he was readily available for any questions. The price was about right with the 4 competing bids. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again with roof/siding projects.

Description of Work: They replaced my roof. The roof is still leaking and they will not honor their warranty. They changed the name of the company since it was previously his father's company, and they said they cannot do anything about it since it's no longer his father's company.

Description of Work: First, when I called he company and stated that I found them on Angie's list, they were so attentive to my needs. Someone was out at my house the next day and he wen on he roof and took pictures. He explain to me in detail the option that I had, and one of them was that my roof was bad but if I wanted him to patch it up he would but it wouldn' ben any guarantee that it work, so I brought up the entire roof being fix and with the price he quoted I decided to go with the new roof. To me you have to keep your house up and you want good service and good service will cost a litle more, but you want the best for your house. The contractor called and informed me when the material will be delivered and when he will start the process. Compared to what other service I had, this is heaven. They are so professional, customer orientated but most of all friendly and patient. I'm so glad that I joined Angie's list and I choose this company because of he excellent service and you should too.

+ 0 moreI was referred by my father to Tom Bingham at Area Roofing, after my father had a series of jobs satisfactorily completed on his home. The work I had done was on a property in Maryland, despite me being in Colorado during the whole process. Tom was extremely quick in responding to my inquiry and working with local contacts to schedule a visit to the property. The Area Roofing prices were at the low end of five separate quotes (several from Angie's List vendors, plus Lowe's) I had obtained, plus they offered a discount to let them do the roofing and gutters together. All work was done promptly and cleanly, pictures were sent to me upon completion, and Tom was in constant contact giving me updates. I would certainly use Area Roofing again.

Description of Work: With prolonged hard (tropical) rain I had a small leak in my roof. Area had replaced a ridge vent for me so I called them. The estimator came out and told my wife (I was out of town) that the roof could be repaired for 600.00 He came back out when I arrived home and told me he was certain the problem was with the valleys on the roof. He had not gone into the attic and I honestly was not sure where he was considering repairing the roof. The valleys were not in the location of the interior damage. I provided the required down payment of 200.00 on 10/12/10. I was told the job would be completed within 2 weeks. It wasn't. 2 weeks went by and I heard nothing.. 2 1/2 weeks I called and I got the October is our busy month line with the assurance that "Andy will call" I am estimating 4 weeks later I was promised the job would be completed and Andy would call with the result. I got no call so I called the office on a Saturday morning to be told that the job had been completed earlier in the week. I paid the balance and had the interior repaired 200.00. We had no other prolonged rain (that would penetrate insulation) until Hurricane Irene arrived. I saw the same water spot Remnants of Tropical Storm Lee extended the spot. I called Integrity Roofing and Home Improvement as they had replaced some shingles for me promptly and at a fair price early in the year. He went into the attic and found the exact location of the leak which was approximately 6 feet higher on the roof than the original repair and involved rotten decking. he also recommended replacing J channel on my siding which had been disrupted with the original repair. The work was done within the 2 week time frame and I am confident it was done correctly. Buyer beware of Area Roofing and Siding!

+ -1 moreI don't know where they are located, but they are local to our county. Our neighbors had used them. We had looked into 5 to 7 roofing companies. Ironically Area Roofing was the one not on Angie's List, but we ended up going with them. They were very willing to work with us. We put together 6 houses on our block that felt best for these companies to give us estimates. Area came through with the best deal. They were very willing to meet our schedule and we were happy with them. The workers were fine. There were no complications. There are one or two homes that have to be completed. Ours is done and everything went well. The roof is okay. They are coming back to do a few things that need to be done. We chose the quality. We chose the product.
Description of Work: Area Roofing and Siding Company came out last week and put a whole new roof on for us.

Ralls provided the estimate, was competitive on price, provided assitance in color selection and was always on time from the initial estimate to scheduling of the roof replacement. Area Roofing/Ralls also did my neighbors roof at the same time so he was dealing with two homeowners and coordinated the process extremely well. The Area Roofing crews were very efficient, protecting all plants surrounding the house, were careful in ripping off the roof, and providing a quality product. The Crew Chief and crews were responsive in answering questions about the existing roof panels and work they were completing. Additionally,Ralls was also on the job site and insured both houses were completed in a timely and professional manner.
Description of Work: Roofing replacement: Completed in one day from ripping off roof to replacement. Installed Weather shield around all roof edges, roof valleys, and skylights installed roof vents.

+ -1 moreThey had sent a crew of 8 men over to do the job and had the job completed extremely quick. I have used this company in the past and was pleased with work they done. The estimator that had come out to price the job was thorough, knowledgeable and got back to us quickly.
Description of Work: We had them replace our old skylight with a new one. The shingles and flashing were also re-done to accommodate the new skylight. The job took 1 hour.

+ 1 moreI called the company and they agreed to provide a free estimate. They set up an appointment to come a few days later. My husband took off from work to meet the company at 3:00, the time the company provided. The company supposedly came in the morning and never notified us they changed the time. Upon speaking with the company, they only looked at siding damage. They promised to come the next day while we were at work to look at the rest of the damage. We never heard from them again. One week later we called and were told by a rude receptionist that we needed the name of the estimator (which we didn't have because he came when we weren't there). She found out who is was and told us we had to call his cell phone directly. After two messages and three weeks, we still haven't heard from them. This company is completely unprofessional. If they didn't want the work, they should have just told us so.
Description of Work: Needed siding on two sides of my house replaced, four new windows, and a roof replaced due to damage covered by insurance.
