Description of Work: They were prompt coming to the house and listened when I explained what I wanted. He had a few recommendations which were sensible.I had one bad experience when there was some sort of glitch which send an indicator to them that the glitch existed, but did not set off the alarm. The called to let me know about the glitch and I made an appointment right then for a service call. The woman did not say to me that I had the option of having my service put on hold until the service call was finished, which is what she was required to do.I assumed that since I scheduled a call there would be no further calls until it was fixed. The glitch happened again in the middle of the night, still not an actual alarm, so they called me and then called my daughter over and over. Then they sent the police. So that really made me angry as they knew about the glitch, had spoken to me about it and had scheduled a service call but continued to call and harass me about something that was not an alarm problem. Since then there have been no problems and I'm glad I got the system. They are also pretty pricey, $2207 for the installation and $55 a month.

+ -1 moreONE OF OUR ADT SMOKE DETECTORS WAS NOT WORKING PROPERLY. ADT CAME OUT TO FIX IT, AND FOUND THAT IT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. SINCE WE DID NOT HAVE A MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH ADT FOR EQUIPMENT REPAIRS, THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE TO CHARGE US OVER $100 TO FIX THE SMOKE DETECTOR. THE SERVICE PERSON DID NOT HAVE THE CORRECT REPLACEMENT DETECTOR, SO HE MADE AN APPOINTMENT TO COME BACK TO OUR HOUSE LATER THAT WEEK. HE DID NOT SHOW UP. AFTER PLACING TWO MORE CALLS TO ADT, ANOTHER REPAIR PERSON CAME OUT AND REPLACED THE SMOKE DETECTOR. SINCE ADT HAD NOT FOLLOWED UP PROMPTLY TO OUR FIRST VISIT, THEY OFFERED TO NOT CHARGE US FOR THIS REPLACEMENT. WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE POLICY AND WILL CONTINUE TO USE ADT IN THE FUTURE.
