Horrible communication. We had minor water in one corner of our basement. Rapids showed up and completely destroyed the basement. They went way beyond the scope needed to complete work. What should have been pulling back carpet and padding and accessing one wall turned into gutting 2ft around the entire basement to include treating out all of the carpet and padding. When the invoice was received the were thousands of dollars of extra items billed and the diagram and square footage did not match our basement. You have to email everything and when I attempted to contact and get the invoice corrected I was threatened and told everything was justified and correct, energy though there was a 9ft by 11ft room on the diagram and added square footage for an extra room that did not exist. Butter beware, I would not recommend or ever use them again. Thank God my insurance company is dealing with them because I would have to take them to court to get anything resolved. Horrible, horrible company.

Prompt response when I called for flooding at my house. They were there within hours to start working fixed everything great. Great customer service, which is very rare these days. Definitely would use them again if I had to. Praying I do not.

My boss recommended them because my water heater broke. I called him and Robert responded and was at my house within two hours. They cleared everything and made sure there was no mold or anything.

My house had a bad leak throughout. Called Rapids Flood Team and they responded promptly. Upon arrival they tested for mold and found alot throughout the kitchen and living room, they removed all of it. I would definitely recommend this company.

Family had to do too much physical labor to assist in the project. Spraying was not done. Water was removed on its own before the company started the work.

I was told by a rep that they would bill my insurance, they did and Statefarm rejected the claim. I received a bill for $3600!! Mind you this was to pump out a flooded crawl space of 1200 sq. ft. I never received an estimate, if i had I wouldve declined and hired avlocal company. After my refusal to pay such an exhorbitant amount, we negotiated down to$2500 which I still believe was much too high. Though they were responsive and polite, I will not hire them again personally, but I will encourage everyone to get a written estimate before engaging their service. I most certainly learned my lesson.

The company followed up quickly and completed the work. Our basement is now dry. I will say the sales person was a bit pushy. In the midst of a crisis, I don’t want to deal with someone rushing me to make a decision in 15 minutes or my time slot will be given away. I understand he’s trying to close the deal but that was stressful. Also, the team removed drywall, flooring and items left in a flooded basement but they tracked water, sludge and mud throughout the house. When my husband asked them to put down drop clothes they did but a mess had already been made. When they left, we had to mop and scrub the place. The team came back the next day to pick up the trash items that were left on the front lawn. All in all, work was completed well. With a little more care, this would’ve been a 5 star job.
