FAB Appraisals

Needed an appraisal for a historic tax credit. Couldn t get a time that worked with the city appraiser (yes, people have jobs, you could try to offer more than one hour a month *eye roll*) but thankfully they gave us an option to find a private appraiser. So, I went on home advisor and found Wayne. So glad! He responded immediately, scheduled within a few days, and was easy to work with. The city is of course super picky about what they ll accept as well, so he talked to them beforehand to know what they were looking for. They STILL were a pain afterward (and rude, to boot) but no problem, Wayne handled it before I even asked! I highly recommend and if and when we need this done again in the future (because we will, post reno) I am going to him. Thank you Wayne!

He called to let us know what time he would be here and I have to say he was on time, did his job and was gone. He told us when we would receive the information about the appraisal, and he was right on time. I would recommend F.A.B. Appraisal if needed again.

Mr. Rogers appraisal does not reflect the comparison cases he presented. When asked to give an explanation of how he arrived at his appraisal, he simply ignored my phone calls and email. Turned out he is very unprofessional.

He is extremely pleasant but he was slightly late. Then we waited a few days more than what we were originally told it would take for the actual appraisal to get sent to us. Overall though, it was fine.....and painless. Getting questions answered was also fine.

Customer service is a lost art, but Wayne gets it. He responded to my inquiry immediately, like I was his only customer even though I know he was busy with others. He demonstrated that he is an expert in his field with helpful tips and information beyond the scope of what I was paying him for. He made my 90 year old Mom feel comfortable and she has trust issues. He made sure I was informed every step of the way, he was punctual and I got my report very quickly. Very responsive and informative

Started out good, Wayne was amiable. But he failed to include and adjust for an entire addition on the subject property and when we brought this to his attention, became difficult and indignant. Unfortunately, turned out to be very unprofessional. I am a real estate developer and have worked with hundreds of appraisers - never again here. We had to get another appraisal, at duplicative cost, to get it right. Suggest you look elsewhere.

He really work with my schedule and got out to do his appraisal very quickly and then when I had an emergency was willing to change the appointment time to accommodate me very friendly excellent service highly recommend them
