The deck looks revived once again. I will use them next time if I need another power wash job.

We have had a wonderful experience contracting with Deanwood Decks. Tom is extremely responsive to my phone calls and requests. They did a great job with the work and accommodated our schedule. They helped us to find a solution that worked within our budget. I just called them again to help with another project and they will be coming to do the work tomorrow.

Amazing customer service! After purchasing deal, I contacted Tom to schedule the pressure wash of my house. Despite Angie's List including PG County in the service area, Deanwood Decks does not come to my area, but since I already purchased the plan he honored the deal anyways. That was super impressive. The work was done thoroughly and the outcome was very impressive. The siding looks brand new!

Tom's crew showed up on time and did a great job of power washing the house. They were professional and courteous.

Went well. Came and did the work and left things in order.

Due to rain, I had to wait a week in between the power washing and the sealing of my deck; it was worth the wait. The deck looks almost new. I had the deck done once before by another provider and wasn't that impressed. These guys are meticulous and spent a great deal of time making it look great. I will definitely use Deanwood Decks again.

Excellent. Tom Pitsenberger scheduled the job. His son Andrew showed up on time and immediately organized the deck furniture and began the power wash process with very modern equipment. He was very careful with plants and all over spray, and finished the job quickly. Andrew and his helper returned all items to their original place and explained that the wood would need to dry for at least 24 hours before the sealer could be applied. He scheduled the return time for two days later. He returned as promised . Moved the furniture, applied the sealer and returned all items to thier original locations. The job was well done and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Deanwood Decks based on my experience.

I am so pleased with the work that was done: my deck looks brand new! The vendor was running a bit late from an earlier appointment, but kept me informed about his progress. He had to move a couple of the heavier pieces of furniture around, but was careful not to damage the wood by dragging it around. Was willing to work around my schedule. Like I said, I'm very happy with the money I spent on this service. Will definitely use again, I plan to keep his number on file for the next time the deck needs a spa day.

It went very well. They did a very good job. We could not be happier. They worked with me when they got out here, they were willing to make small adjustments. They did the entire job within the budget that was mentioned on the site. They could have charged me higher but they didn't. They were very meticulous and careful. They set up two appointments; one to clean the deck, the other to seal it. They were extremely courteous and delightful to work with.

They did excellent work. They answered all of my questions. The scheduling was a bit of a problem, but I highly recommend them.

Never had direct contact with principle provider. Incomplete work on first visit then called and returned. Those providing service did not indicate when leaving or whether satisfactory. Found that drain clogged at bottom of outside stairs to basement but wasn't informed and as a result incomplete work. Felt that principle should have reviewed work. Felt that price was excessive. Live and learn. Had not adequately checked references before having work done.

We were in a time crunch situation (our home insurance would have been dropped if these items weren't taken care of), and Deanwood Decks scheduled us at short notice and took care of both items to the satisfaction of the insurance company. The deck and roof were old and delicate, and they accomplished these two tasks without causing further damage. They did, appropriately, advise us that roof moss removal is not necessarily recommended for older roofs, but because our insurance insisted on it being done, they did go ahead and take care of it. The son of the owner did the work, and the owner came out to assess the deck after the initial power washing was done. The B rating rather than A is because there was some initial misunderstanding because of my lack of knowledge about decks; I didn't know that our deck was painted, and when I saw how it looked after the power washing, I was unhappy. But the owner was very accommodating and professional when I called to complain, and came out and looked at the situation and explained it to me and then together we discussed options, as I didn't want the expense of repainting the whole deck; we decided on a clear stain that would protect the deck, while showing the imperfections. With the time and money I could spend, we weren't able to repair cracks in the wood; I had thought those could just be sanded, but it wouldn't have worked. So I would have preferred the owner to have done the initial assessment and discussion with me before the son started on the work; however, as I said, once he did come out I felt comfortable with the discussion and the work as it then proceeded, and satisfied with the final result. Plus, he kept with the price as quoted on the phone, even though the deck was larger than I had estimated. It is a real family business, with a decades long history.
