I would probably look around and see if I can find someone better. Their price seems expensive for the amount of work that was done.

They were responsive, punctual and very professional.

customer service was incompetent.

We had purchased a 1950s house and wanted the kitchen remodeled. We were living in another state and the project manger said that he would send us drawings via email etc. We paid over about $1000 for the drawings which would be included in the total amount. Weeks went by and we never heard from the company. Finally I contacted the company and was told that they would send me something soon. When we finally got the drawings they were drawings that came from computer software! Since I'm sort of picky, I showed them to a co-worker who laughed and said she could get some software and I could hire her for much less. Fortunately, we I contacted the company, they were very accommodating and said that if I wasn't. Satisfied they would give me a full refund , which they did. I had the kitchen completed be another company for less than the quote from Case.

I have used Case several times and have never been disappointed with the results. Thet have actually saved me money by fixing a door problem rather than upselling me a new entry door. Their repair saved me about $3000. dollars.

It was a little more than we had expected to do. They wanted to do a full porch and we wanted to do a partial. The design that they showed was very professional. They were very professional. I guess one of the upper management came out and talked to us personally so it was a good experience.

Fred (Case) was very responsive and prompt with all appointments and follow up on questions or changes. They helped me with overall lay out of laundry area. I purchased iKea cabinets and put them together and they installed them. Small space but needed to create a wall, move electrical, plumbing and gas line. I used Case because they do not sub contract out and all of those departments are under one roof. Steve McGill was the project manager and he handled all scheduling and appointments of when each had to come in to do their bit. All were professionals in their fields and I was confident in their work. Overall, they cost a bit more, but worth it since I didn't have to deal with any other contractors. I would use them again.

I waited for a few days after the promised delivery date, and then sent an e-mail to Mr. A asking when I could expect it. I had some concern in this regard as Case had provided at the seminar a "discount design coupon" which was valid for a limited time period. In response, I received an "out-of-office" reply from Mr. A, saying he would not be in until the following week, beyond the expiry date of the coupon. I then sent an e-mail to someone else at Case whom Mr. A had provided as an alternate contact in his e-mail. She did not reply to me, but evidently sent the e-mail to Mr. A. I got a reply from him shortly thereafter saying that he had already sent the quote. I note, however, that this was a "fresh" e-mail quote rather than a re-send of the one he claimed to have sent earlier. I double-checked my e-mail, including the spam folder, to be sure nothing was there. Nothing was, but "sorry for the oversight" did not seem to be a part of Mr. A's vocabulary. As it turned out, the quote provided was much, much higher than I expected for a kitchen as small as mine and for a remodel that would not have involved moving pipes or tearing down walls, etc. Mr. A also seemed to have ignored my specifically saying that I did not want/need professional-grade appliances as his cost estimates for those were also much higher-than-expected. I was very disappointed by the experience since, as indicated above, my initial impression of Case Design was very positive.

They do very high quality work. When they come out and say what needs to be done, they can answer any questions about the work. They send out knowledgeable workers. They have people on their payroll that are very knowledgeable and skilled. For instance, they sent out a structural engineer to replace the structural beam. I trust them. They stay true to their word and estimated time frames.

rThey did a very nice job. We picked them as they really did a thorough estimate. Measured everything, talked with us about what we wanted the room to look like and offered helpful suggestions about how to save on costs. They were a little more expensive than everyone else but the confidence level that they could do the job in the time provided was very high. They kept in touch and responded promptly when we had questions. We worked with their fred division. We had an issue with the onsite person asking for the final payment before all the work was done but when we called the manager, we got that straightened out. I would have liked a more official walk thru when the project was done, but the manager apologized and we never had an issue with anything so it worked out. They did a very nice job framing the windows which we are really happy with. And the bonus was that they had to work around our pool table. and they really took care to make sure it didn't get damaged and still did a nice job on the floor underneath.

High quality design and consulting on developing the project. Some problems with length of time to complete; there appeared to be some capacity issues during a busy time. We are extremely happy with the final result. We love our essentially new home and would use Case again in the future.

My sister-in-law recommended them as they had done a good job for her, building her house in Potomac. From the start, there was an undertone attitude because we were in a slightly poorer area than Potomac. The designer wouldn't come out to the house...he worked from measurements we had to provide, then verified them with the carpenter. They would call my sister-in-law about issues, even though I was the one who signed the contract. They would return MY calls to her...even though she told them to talk to me. They delivered and installed the wrong cabinets, and when I stopped them, they said they would charge me to change them. Only when my SIL called them would they make the correction without charging; they tried to tell me the wrong cabinets "looked good" and I should be happy! They measured the corner cupboards by the sliding doors incorrectly, putting them too close to the sliding doors. Can't even hang skinny shades, or the cupboard doors won't open. They refused to fix it. The inferior stain on the overpriced doors started wearing off after five years, and the kitchen sink began to sag after about 7 years. The list goes on....the first kitchen in this house lasted over 25 years, and was still good except we wanted an update. The expensive remodel has not held up, because they cut corners. The biggest insult was that they would NOT talk to us directly until my SIL threatened to never use them again. Although the lead carpenter on site was friendly, the office and designers were snobs and mistreated us terribly, one insult after another. Six months of this...never again!

We had a great experience with Case. We like their professionalism, the quality of their craftsman was really high, and they were very nice. It was just an overall good experience. We had some problems with one designer, but she has since left the company and we were able to work around that fairly usually.

Interactions with all representatives of this company were very professional, informative and cordial. It was helpful to talk with them in the process of making decisions for this home renovation project.

Case Design provided excellent design expertise. They were attentive to our design preferences and style. They were very knowledgeable regarding the range of choices and products available. They were clear about the entire process and cost. The project proceeded on schedule with a few minor delays. The construction personnel were very skillful at handling and adapting to the small construction issues that arose along the way. We did have a few unforssen cosmetic issues that cropped up at the end and took some time to complete due to diffculty in otaining the correct material from the supplier. Nevertheless, they pursued the issues until they were resolved, which is a testament to the character of the company. Our kitchen is beautiful and compliments the style of our home. We get many compliments. The granite countertops are very striking and are the focal point of the kitchen. Overall the project was much less time consuming and disruptive to our normal routine than I expected. I would use Case Design again and hightly recommend them.

They were very good, and very nice, but the only thing I didn't like about it, was that they told me what I could have at a certain price. They weren't interested in what I wanted. They were very nice, they were very prompt, and they got back to me, but I didn't like the way they wanted it. They came when they said they would come.

It was a very positive experience and I would highly recommend the company and the workers who did the job. They were efficient, professional and completed the job in under the estimated time. The main office was very responsive and communicative. We couldn't be happier with the outcome.

My experience was excellent. The price was reasonable. The workmen were extremely knowledgeable and very creative. They had a project assigned that really paid close attention on a daily basis to what was happening. This was the second time that I used them.

He never sent us the final estimate. The initial quote was probably $25,000.00 to $35,000.00. He showed up for the visit and then we never heard back from them. He kept mentioning that he was very busy but would get it to us in less than a week. After three or four emails to him, over the following two weeks, we heard nothing back from the designer. We thought it was going to be good but it did not turn out that way. Everything was great except for the fact that he never got back to us.

The experience was excellent. They did a good job. They do what they say, and in a timely fashion, and that is where it is appreciated.

It went excellent. I loved them. I've used them for over 20 years, they're wonderful; completely reliable. They do the job on time, and as promised. When they set a deadline they always meet it, which is very important with remodeling. They are very creative and helpful and I have absolutely no complaints.

We really like them. They’re more expensive than the average. One of the reasons why we went with them in the past is because is they have a 5 year warranty on their work. In bathroom remodeling, they replaced everything because we had a major leak. They did a good job on a lot of different things but there were some things on the finishing touches. After you had them come back 2 or 3 times to fix something, you just get tired of having them fix. I will never have them paint again. The painting was just horrible. It’s not the first thing you see when you walk in but when you spend a couple of minutes in the room, you just know that it’s not a very good paint job. On the bathroom design, there were some things that we knew nothing about and I think they should advise us a little bit better in that regard. There were some things that if we could have known, they could have been done differently. We love the people. My mom loves the project manager. When we have problems or something she does not know what to do, she just call him because he just thinks the world of her and he’ll tell her what to do or he’ll send one of his guys by and they’ll fix something for her. One of the guys came at 6:00 in the morning to fix the water filtration system. It took about an hour and charged us $50. It would have been a lot more if we called someone else. We have a good working relationship with them. We had certain things done that you’re paying really good money. I would recommend them but not for painting. They’re great at fixing all the little things. If ever I’m going to use them again, I’ll be much more informed specifically about what I want or what could possibly be done rather than trusting that they will tell me if it would be better if they did it this or that way.

It was a very good experience. The people were good, I don't remember any deep interaction but I know I liked their job. They did the work less than a year ago and the price was reasonable.

We loved them. They were very good and responsive to any questions we had. They were flexible with our schedule. They finished the whole remodeling in about a month so they were quick and focused on what they were doing. It was a good experience. They cleaned up every night because of which there was no dust around the house.
