The Grout Medic - Montgomery County

THE GROUT MEDIC DID A HORRIBLE JOB ON MY KITCHEN TILE FLOOR WHICH I AM STILL PAYING FOR THE WORK THAT WAS DONE BY THIS COMPANY. I HAVE HAD TO SPEND $1500 SO FAR HAVING OTHER CONTRACTORS TAKE THE NEW TILE UP TO REGLUE BECAUSE THEY KEEP COMING LOOSE. RIGHT NOW, I WILL HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $800 FOR ANOTHER SECTION OF KITCHEN TILE THAT IS LOOSE AND NEEDS TO BE REGLUED. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY EVER.

Outstanding. Dennis was courteous, on time, did exactly what he said he would and did an amazing job. The shower looks brand new. The original cost would have been $425, but he gave us an Angie's List discount. Dennis the owner takes a lot of pride in his work.

Dennis is pretty busy but responded right away to my initial call. Very personable yet down-to-business. Scheduled him at the same time he did the estimate and he came out to do the job a few weeks later.

I called 2 highly recommended providers from Angie's list. Both came and gave estimates and both seemed professional and personable. Grout Medic's estimate of $500 was almost $200 less expensive, so I selected them . Grout Medic has only one employee (the owner perhaps) who does everything. Dennis Cyr answers the phone, schedules the work and does the work. He came exactly when he scheduled the work, brought all the materials, and finished the job in about 4 hours. He cleaned up nicely and the job looks great. I found two very small places that I wanted regrouted (I think the grout may have collapsed into a space behind). He came back and fixed those very small spaces cheerfully and told me not to hesitate to call again if I noticed anything else. I am very pleased

Grout Medic did exactly what they proposed and more. There were some cosmetic caulking not originally considered that they did willingly and at no extra cost. Their men were always on time, very courteous, and very neat/clean. I would use them again and encourage anyone needing their service to use them as well.

He had to changed our initial appointment to satisfy another customer then it took 6 weeks to get day for him to return to do the work. I had to buy the grout because he didn't want to be responsible for the color. The joints were applied too thick which made the lines look crooked. Otherwise, the work was ok.

Mr. Robey was very friendly and highly professional. He went over all aspects of what he thought needed to be done and submitted a written estimate for our approval. Once approved, Mr. Robey showed up on time, did a highly professional job, cleaned the area when he completed the work. I would recommend GroutMD to friends and family

Dennis performed the work in the two 1960's era bathrooms. The bathrooms are ALL tiled surfaces- floors and walls, too. Dennis cleaned and regrouted where needed and then recaulked. Looked great when he finished. Overall, it was a worthwhile improvement and the work has held up over the past two years. I will use this company again.

Dennis was very knowledgeable about the work that I needed done and answered all my questions. I thought the estimate was reasonable. There was a two week schedule wait. The job turned out great and I am very satisfied. Would definitely hire him again.

This repair went very smoothly. I got a quick call back after my initial request and he came right away to give me a quick estimate and set up a time for the repair. On the day of the repair, he came on time and the repair took exactly the time he estimated. I was quite satisified with whole experience -- made me glad that I used Angie's list to find him.

It wasn't really remarkable. I guess if I highlighted anything, it would just be that everything was what I expected. I mean, I checked it if it would be cleaner, and it was. I don't remember their pricing to be any. I remember it being pretty good.

They were in Angie’s List in the most highly recommended list. I got the work corrected. I tend to be little lenient towards the person and they had to come back out because he quality of the work was surpass. Some of the work that they did, I just had to turn a blind eye towards it. As they cleaned out the grout they had to cut into the existing tile. I thought that the quality of work from someone who had recommended him highly was failing.

Only one man came out to do the work and he was very prompt. He came for the quote when he said that he was going to come and he was on time. He did a very very good job. It was excellent. Our grout, the lines between the tiles, was almost gone in our shower and he did beautiful work. It was all white and perfect. The reason that my husband picked him too was because he was on Angie's List with an 'A' rating. We found him through Angie's List and he was great. He did great work and our bathroom does not leak anymore because it was leaking into our family room. Our ceiling had holes in it so it was a whole disaster but what he did was good, so after a week, we were able to redo the ceiling and everything. He was wonderful. He came, did it and cleaned up. It was fabulous. We liked him when he came by and he was able to do it that week so we did not get any other quote so I do not know if his price is considered expensive but I would say that his pricing was good because he brought all of the materials. His price seemed fair which was why we went with him. There might be someone that could come in and do it much cheaper but he offered a $50 discount on Angie's List that we were able to use. If our other shower also gets to that point, we will definitely give him a call. I was here the whole time when he did the job.

Grout Medic happened to be in my neighborhood when I called and came by on his way home from another job in order to provide a free estimate. I waited several weeks for the work to be done, but I can easily see why he is in demand. I've been pleased with the results and would contact Grout Medic again as needed. I've also recommended him to a friend who may need this type of work done in the near future.

Dennis Cyr was very professional, easy to communicate with, and prompt.

The guy who came out to clean wasn't happy with how clean the wall was, and so he didn't charge me for that, and he had volunteered to do that, we didn't ask him to.

Great end result & reasonable price. My only frustration (just because it can sometimes be an issue if urgency is important) is having to wait several weeks between quote and execution, but the owner set that expectation when we booked so I was well aware. I would definitely use them again.

They did a good job, reliable, schedule and came on time, and finished everything clean. The price had been expensive but it is the only one available and they are all in the same price.

I am completely satisfied and will be using his services again.

Prompt, professional, and turned out great!

It went very well, and I was impressed with Dennis. He was very prompt (came exactly when he said he would), explained the work he felt needed to be done, and even declined some work which he said he felt was unnecessary at this time. I felt that the cost of the work was reasonable and a good value. I would definitely recommend Dennis to others needing this kind of work.

He did a great job from start to finish. He was able to schedule the free estimate at a time that was convenient for us, he was honest, straight forward and clear with the estimate. He scheduled the work at a time that worked for us, showed up at the promised time (did not give us a three hour window, just a time and that is when he showed), did a great job and left the kitchen clean and looking beautiful
