The Grout Medic - Montgomery County

The initial estimate that occurred in February 2023 went well - however, I was not booked until the end of March! When March came, Dennis canceled on me and then I had to cancel on him due to the Easter holiday. I have since reached out to Dennis and asked if we can reschedule my appointment and he has not responded. It’s obvious Dennis does not want to do the job per our agreement and not sure why. I have called Dennis and texted him a few times this week about rescheduling and Dennis has not responded - basically he’s ghosted me - this is very unprofessional. I will find someone another company that standbys their agreement, schedules me early, and responds when I text and or call. Had I known that Dennis was not going to be responsive or show up for our schedule appointments I wouldn’t have wasted three months waiting for Dennis to do the work as agreed upon. Again, not a professional way to run a business by promising a service and then ghosting a client.

This company sucks !!! They should never be on Angie’s List. They called once, I texted them pictures of the job like they asked, and I never heard from them again. Stay away , No professionalism at all.

My kids bathroom looks wonderful - better than when it was first installed. Our bathroom was a bit tougher of a job and while the grout Dennis put down is very solid I should have asked him to tint it with the original color. All in all I am relieved to have the project done and he was kind, responsive and super prompt. Great communication. I'd hire him for other projects in a second!

I had four walls and a ceiling regrouted in January. It was a 4' x 4' x 8' shower stall. Excellent work.Arrived promptly and was done in 1 day. He also re caulked a tub in another bathroom.

Both bathtub and shower looked fresh and clean - wonderful when the work was done.

This was the first time we used The Grout Medic and to say we were pleased is an understatement. We could not believe how good our shower stall looked when he was finished. His grout and caulking work is first rate. Plus, we felt his fee was reasonable considering the quality of his work and the fact that he was at our house an entire afternoon. Would we recommend him? Absolutely!

Grout Medic of Montgomery County did a fantastic job! It looks great. I hope to have them do more re-grouting in the near future.

Could not have been more satisfied with the results.....excellent! The room looked like new, glistening. A little pricey BUT you get what you pay for. How many times we've said we would gladly paid more for a higher outcome. Dennis is terrific and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

He showed up on time and completed the work the same day. The tiles look brand new and, of course, no more water leaks!

I hired Dennis because some shower grout (15 years old) was cracked and the water was leaking. Not only did he repair that, but he refreshed all the grout in the shower. Some of it had been "spot" fixed previously and the color didn't match completely. I was happier than I expected with the final product - the shower looked new.

Everything went well. Dennis Cyr gave us an estimate and scheduled the work. He arrived at the house at the exact date and time he said he would. Did the job very well. Everything looks like new. He was very efficient and extremely knowledgable about his craft I would use him again in a minute. I believe we paid a reasonable price for an excellent job.

Grout Medic provided a free estimate and was on-time for the service call. We are very happy with the work that was performed and will recommend the company to our friends.

Another company told us that we needed to tear down all the tiles, replace the cement board and redo the surround. Dennis did the repair work for less than half of their estimate. While expensive, the tub area looks brand new.

When someone gets heavily booked there is a reason. I had to wait a month for Dennis and it was worth it! He came when he said he would and finished on a timely basis. I am getting ready to sell my house which has 6.5 baths. Dennis regrouted 4.5 of them, including a very large master bathroom and a large inlaw suite bathroom (both with WC's), he additionally regrouted two showers with tile seats, and he cleaned the tiles in another bathroom. I cannot tell you how good they look. I would definitely use him again were I staying in the region and recommend him highly.

Mr. Cyr came out on the evening I called to look at the work we asked about and he provided an estimate right there. He was on time, professional and extremely knowledgeable when he gave us the estimate. We thought the estimate was fair so we arranged a date and time for the services to be performed. Mr. Cyr was on time to perform the work and he did an excellent job. He is very personable, extremely hard working, and we are very pleased with the job he did. We had just had the house professionally cleaned the day before, so we wondered if this would be messy, but Mr. Cyr left everything close to spotless. He left no mess! We have already passed his name and number along to someone looking to have shower/tub work done. I highly recommend Mr. Cyr/The Grout Medic.

Great! Work was done in the time stated in the contract. Not nearly as much mess from the grinding as I thought. Very professional and pleasant to have in the house. Will definately use again and recommend.

THE GROUT MEDIC DID A HORRIBLE JOB ON MY KITCHEN TILE FLOOR WHICH I AM STILL PAYING FOR THE WORK THAT WAS DONE BY THIS COMPANY. I HAVE HAD TO SPEND $1500 SO FAR HAVING OTHER CONTRACTORS TAKE THE NEW TILE UP TO REGLUE BECAUSE THEY KEEP COMING LOOSE. RIGHT NOW, I WILL HAVE TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL $800 FOR ANOTHER SECTION OF KITCHEN TILE THAT IS LOOSE AND NEEDS TO BE REGLUED. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY EVER.
