Dennis was ptompt, accurate, pleasant and did a good job re-caulking our shower tile. Had to wait a week and a half for an appointment, but he showed up on the date we've agreed on (on time) and finished when he promised. No complaints.

At first we thought we had to simply reglue a few tiles and recaulk around the shower, so we called Dennis. He came in and agreed with our assesment and scheduled to come back out about 2 weeks later (the soonest he could come) When he did come out he pulled up a few of the tiles and told my husband (not the repair person in our couple) that the subfloor was rotted through and the whole floor needed to be replaced. He said that he could do it if we bought the materials. When my husband explained to me what he wanted us to get I should have been suspicious (he told him specifically not to buy cement backer board?) but figured some of the problem must have been lost in translation, plus the price was good so I figured, whatever, we can wait another two weeks. Three weeks later (we had to reschedule twice) he came out, removed the toilet and sink and "fixed" the floor. He then informed me that because of the warped joist he could not level the floor and because the floor was not level it was beyond his expertise to reattach the toilet. I was mildly purturbed by this but figured, for the price, I don't mind calling a plumber to reset the toilet. Then, when we had our plumber in he said the floor was too off to reset the toilet at all and the whole floor would have to be redone or we would have to spend $2000 to lower the toilet, and even then it would still be crooked. So, in the end, we ended up payin $450 to get no where and we now have to pay someone to completely redo the floor, in addition to having the toilet and sink reset. Dennis is very nice and I'm sure he is very good at regluing tiles and fixing grout, but he really should have told us up front that this job was more than he could handle. I would not have minded paying a more expensive contractor to have it done right.

Everything went really well. He was on time for the estimate appt (even a little early), and he offered costs for a complete retile, or just the regrout and recaulk. He returned to do the job on time, there were no surprise charges, and he was always pleasant and professional. He got all the supplies to fix the rotted wood (caused by a leak I didn't realize I had), and fixed it in such a way that I didn't have to do any drywalling or patching.

There were a few bumps in the road, but it all worked out well in the end. During the job we sprang a leak and had to call a plumber. There was an area outside of the shower that the plumber told the workers would need to be regrouted and caulked, but they didn't and it continued to leak. I called the company and they sent a guy out, but it didn't fix the problem. I called a second time and the head of the company, Buck, came out and fixed correctly. He was a very nice and professional guy.

It went very well. The Grout Medic is ran by Dennis and his brother, Jim. They not only were prompt, efficient and professional, but also were pleasant and good-natured as well. I would recommend them without reservation.

He did ultimately come back and redo it and it looks better but there is still one tile that's not quite flush. He did not regrout the loose down one side there with a loose tile at the floor joint is not as clean as it should have been. The grouting that his brother did in the master bath was a bit irregular and "he" admitted that he removed and retried it 3 times before he completed it. The quality of that job is not good. There are pits in the grouting that make me feel it is not complete. There are noticable pits, not many - but some. Initially when we spoke I advised him that I'd gone online at the advise of a decorator of mine. He had a $50 coupon online and one from the Value Pack that he said he'd honor but he did not. After our paperwork & payment was complete I noticed that he did not honor the $50 discount. I called him immediately and told him I'd void and rewrite a new check with the discount. He said it was already included. He then agreed and said he'd just send me a $50 check. That's been awhile now and he's not replied with the refund and is not replying to my calls.

The project was done very thoroughly and completely at the appointed time.

Showed up on time for an appraisal visit, explained precisely what needed to be done, offered a fair price, showed up on time to do the work, did the work expertly, and was careful in cleaning up.

It went really well. Dennis arrived on time and got to work, the whole job, even with the added trouble of replacing the drywall it didn't even take a full day.

Dennis Cyr was polite, professional and hardworking. He did the job quickly and well and cleaned up after himself impeccably. His price was reasonable and well worth the job. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dennis Cyr is the franchise owner for southern Maryland and was the person who gave me an estimate and performed the repair. Dennis did a great job; prompt and professional, also gives good advice for which there is no charge! This repair was needed because EXPO Design Center installers knocked out the grout while pounding on the adjoining wall while installing tile. After two years, the work and repairs to damage had not been done so I was happy to find Dennis to make this repair. Other services include caulk replacement, tile repair, cleaning and sealing tile/grout.
