The Grout Medic - Montgomery County

I had my white tub refinished, and the white tile and grout looked old and discolored next to the new tub. He arrived on the day of work on time, worked for a few hours on my one white bath, and it looks great now. I would use him again. In fact, the next time I will have him come to my country place and do two bathrooms!

Dennis Cyr arrived somewhat early to review the job and give me a price, then arrived on time for the work, which he completed in two hours. The re-grouting looks beautiful, far better than what was there initially. He was extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend him for the work that he does. In fact, I have already recommended him to a friend.

Everything about our experience with the grout medic went very well. We received a very prompt reply to our request, a very accurate estimate and were able to get all of the work done quickly. We could have saved ourselves a lot of time and headaches if we had called Grout Medic sooner.

Dennis Cyr responded to my initial inquiry for an estimate the same day I submitted the request. He arrived exactly on time for our appointment. We discussed the project, he provided a written quote and we agreed upon a service date. We scheduled service a month away due to other commitments. We didn't get a reminder notice, so we were a little anxious on the day of the appointment when Dennis didn't arrive on time. He did arrive within 30 minutes and apologized for his delay (hence the B grade on punctuality). Dennis got right to work and completed the project just as we discussed. We are happy with the results. Dennis is a pleasant and personable gentlemen. We highly recommend the Grout Medic and would not hesitate to call him again.

There are not too many people that do what they do in terms of tile replacement. I might consider using them again in the future if need be.

Came on time and did exactly what was discussed. Very professional. Stayed until I was satisfied with the work, kept going over a couple of difficult spots without any complaint by them the time it was taking to touch up several small spots. The only issue on quality is that after the grout dried there were a few spots were there were once again some little "valleys" -- however the contractor said that would likely happen.

Called grout medic after seeing their adds and deciding that we didn't want to tear out ceramic that was in good shape. Promptly returned phone call and came to give an estimate. Said it would be cheaper to do two bathrooms in one day. I called later in the month to see if the work could be done on a convenient day. No problem. Dennis arrived on time, was professional and courteous. We had a difference on the price quote; he agreed to split the difference.

Dennis Cyr came out to give me an estimate. I actually found Grout Medic online and emailed for information from my local office. I met with him and was pleased with how knowledgeable and personable he was. I asked a number of questions and he gave me clear explanations and instructions for preparing my bathroom for the service. I actually booked the appointment without a even knowing that he was on Angie's List. I called him to push the date back a month and he was willing to honor the original estimate. When the day finally came, he showed up promptly, and was even more quick and efficient than he had promised. He invited me to see the work at key points, did more than he was contracted to do, and cleaned up thoroughly after he was done. Fantastic experience; highly recommended.

Mr. Cyr arrived for the estimate exactly when he said he would. The price was reasonable and he arrived on time to do the work and finished quickly and left the area as he found it. He was very professional and I would definately use him again.

They did a great job regrouting, but they could have been better with the cleanup. We would use them again.

We got an estimate in late September, we set up the date for when one of us would be home, and the work was done promptly on that date. Dennis was the workman and he was really intent on what he was doing...which is a good sign for someone doing a job with this much detail work.

We had recurring mildew issues with the grout in the shower stall. Required Tilex more than weekly to keep it at bay. Grout Medic (Beltsville, MD) provided advice and a very reasonable estimate for removing the grout, treating the mildew behind, then regrouting. He came when he said he would, charged the said amount, worked in a timely manner. The job looks good, although I found leftover streaks of grout for a while. Cleaned off easily though. For anyone having such work done, I recommend removing all personal items from the entire room - there is a huge amount of dust.

Very well; would highly recommend Dennis, esp. for the budget-minded. Does not do plumbing-related re-caulking and was up-front about that (e.g. base of the toilet or around sinks). A very small portion of his earlier work needed re-done, and he promptly handled the necessary fixes. Worked very efficiently and cleaned up as he was working & at the end of each project.

It took him about two hours. He cleaned up very well and he was a very nice and polite young man. Just be prepared because it isn?t cheap; I thought the price was a little high. I?ve done it myself which is cheaper but I?ve never sealed it before. The floor ended up looking great.

He arrived right on time, was very professional. Went right to work. Quite, efficient, quick. Finished in scheduled time. Cleaned up after self. Very, very pleased with work. If needed, I would use again and recommend to anyone wanting a professional job done on their tub!

They were very good. They came out when they said they were going to come out and did everything they said they were going to do. I think their price was a little high. They did a good job, and I would use them again in the future. They were expensive but sometimes it is worth the money.

Great. I received service within a couple of days from my call and the young man who came out was polite and professional and went to work right away. He gave me a quote at the start that was reasonable and that was the final charge. The kitchen looks great now, especially behind the sink where I just could not get a nice line myself.

They came when they were supposed to be here. They did a great job on my shower surround. Some of the tiles in the flooring have come up a little bit since they put them in. That's not a significant thing and I can repair it myself. I have never had that kind of work done before so I really have no basis to compare but the price seemed reasonable. They were quite professional people. I would use them again in the future.

Overall we are happy with the work and would use the Grout Medic again if needed.

They were very timely and they cleaned up after themselves. If it weren't for the tile, you wouldn't have known they were hear. They didn't smoke which was nice.
