The workers were prompt and professional.

They were amazing. i had three different crews at each time to come and help. I first installed a new damper, however, it was very hard to open. Another crew came and loosened it and provided addtional suggestions. We decided that we wanted it tight again to prevent cold air from coming in. They came out a third time and made it right. The crews were nice, punctual and friendly. I liked Priddy.

Servicemen arrived several hours later than the window of time given when scheduled. They cleaned and inspected the fireplace and made recomendations for repairs. They were going to leave without checking the chimney cap until it was bought to their attention. It was now about 6:30-6:45pm and dark outside. They went outside and got their ladder and went up to inspect chimney cap in the dark with flashlights. We did receive a follow-up letter from Mr. Priddy, the owner that included a list of recomended repairs and the cost.

This company is useless! After contacting them and talking at length with a representative, I made an appointment for them to come to my home and replace the crown on my chimney for today 12/13/14. I was given an appointment schedule by their representative and was assured they'd be on time and efficient doing their work. Today, when the appointment time came and went with no show, I called again and was told they didn't have a record of my appointment ! The incompetence of this company to make a simple appointment is beyond belief. With this type of customer service they should be out of business, hopefully sooner rather then later !

Quality of work has declined. Was much nicer and more reliable place to work with while owner and son were the ones you dealt with. (Date of last contact is approx)

Driver arrived on time and was very courteous and helpful. That said, the firewood was supposedly well-seasoned and my experience with it has been so-so. Only a year or so later did it start to burn efficiently.

I still have some work to complete, but they have been great with finishing my complete gut out project. Great carpenters (June, Pierre and Roberto) and mason (Thomas) all lead by Christina who has been a great help. I called Priddy Clean for the chimney repairs for the pizza oven, but they ended up doing that including pointing up the back wall, installing hardwood floors, building walls, building a deck, and a bunch of other things to get me ready for final inspection. I can't thank them enough...

This company had been out to our home in January 2013 and completed a bunch of repairs. Their service contract indicates a 5 year all masonry workmanship guarantee. I called them out because we were having water intrusion around one of our chimneys. The technician they had to come out to assess the issue was pleasant, however his english was lacking at best. It was a challenge to understand his explanation and to communicate with him about the explanation once I thought I had a better grasp of the issue. He did inform me that some of the work was going to be covered under warranty. The tech tried to push me to sign off on the work order multiple times even after I indicated my preference to discuss the matter further with my husband. I didn't sign the work order at that time. Then I received two pieces of mail from Priddy Clean - one was a typed up quote outlining the work they recommended to be done and the second was a 2 page letter better describing the repairs that were recommended. Neither of these documents indicated what was covered by their workmanship warranty. Come now to scheduling. I called to have them come out only to repair those items covered by their warranty - all crown work. The appointment time was set for Saturday between 10am-12noon. At 12:15pm I called to find out when they were going to arrive and they said they would be here at 1pm (one complete hour after my appointment time). At 2:15pm I called again and they said they were calling all their techs back in due to weather (it had started to rain). We rescheduled for Monday between 10am-12noon. On Monday I called at 12:15pm. They indicated that they would be there between 1-1:30pm. I cancelled my appointment and indicated to them my intent to post a review on Angie's List. As far as I'm concerned my time was wasted and I was given a big run around. I wouldn't trust them. They cannot even give someone the decency to call them when they need to reschedule because they are running late. My time is valuable and so is my money. I wouldn't give this company a dime.

I had an excellent experience with Priddy Clean, who painted my chimney. The guys were very professional and did a wonderful job, making the chimney look like new and at a very reasonable price. I'd used Priddy Clean once before, and they did a very nice job with my chimney cleaning. A good number of people in my community have used them for their chimney maintenance needs as well, and I've heard nothing but good things from my neighbors about the service they provide.

It went well. The advice was right on point. I will call this company again.

Once the work started, they were very prompt and worked hard. We had some delays because of the weather, but none because of them. The owner stopped by one day to check on how things were going. When they finished each day (the whole job lasted a week), they cleaned up everything. We are very satisfied.

We had contacted this provider about a year ago to have some work done on our Chimney. At that time they were responsive and came out as they stated they would. However, given their price and the fact that we did not plan to use our chimney right away, we waited. I contacted them again in early March 2014 and spoke with Ryan. It took numerous tries for him to send me some documentation via email (the documentation was of our prior estimate) however he did keep trying and eventually we received it. I also scheduled a time with him for someone to come out from Priddy Clean so we could discuss the price and have them look at the work that we were finally ready to do. On Friday, March 7th between 3-5pm. When no one showed up nor called I emailed Ryan back at 5:24pm only to be told sorry for the miscommunication and can we reschedule. I stated yes, and that Monday between 11 and 1pm would work. We received no response to that email, so I emailed again on March 10th......still no response. I emailed Ryan again on March 18th stating, "I guess your non-reply to my email below and your no-show employee speaks volumes to how you do business." Only then did I get a voice mail from Christina, stating that she had attempted to call us twice and leave a message and that she was not "driving all the way to Gainesville..." without hearing from us first. Well I guess she wouldn't hear back from us because she had never called us prior to March 18th, as she stated on her voice mail. She also stated that she had in her records that we had decided to use another company (not true as we never did have the liner work completed). I emailed her back with the facts and have not heard from them since. While this might be an anomally with this company, as they were responsive the first time about a year ago, I have to say I am extremely disappointed. Not only with the current lack of customer service but lying about contacting us when they had not.

I had a chimney that was crumbling. I called them and two other companies. They were by far the most through in the inspection and very reasonable in the price. They showed up the day of work with plenty of workers. Replaced the chimney and cleaned the inside of the chimney. They were very efficient and put down many tarps to keep the yard clean. I have had the chimney almost a year now and it looks just like it did when it was installed. Very good work.

They were fine. I thought the price was fair. They came and did what they're supposed to do. And, they set the fireplaces good to go. Very professional.

Services were excellent!!! I would recommend Priddy and would use them again.

They used a snake that damaged my (admittedly old and frail) flexible tubing inside the walls between the outside vent and the dryer. Things happen, they offered to replace it with rigid tubing, which I agreed to. Unfortunately, they wanted to leave the job and have someone come back the next day to do the tube replacement. Am I ever glad I demanded they fix it that day, because getting all of the right people to come back to finish the job has been a real hassle. Two weeks gone now, the drywall repair (part of the tube replacement job) is still not complete. They have missed 3 appointments to sand and paint. The work that was done appears to be quality work, but the company is clearly understaffed and/or very disorganized. If you value your time and value punctuality in your contractors (as I do), look elsewhere. I will not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

They are FANTASTIC and we highly recommend them. Priddy Clean is an ethical company which puts safety and the provision of a high-quality service first. The response provided to our issue, was incredibly professional and humane. Cristina sent her crew on a Sunday to start the work ASAP, having carried out the assessment the day before (Saturday) and exceeding the preliminary start date set for Monday. Going way beyond the call of duty, Cristina kept us informed via phone on the progress, and met w/us on person 3 times during the 6-day project. She provided the options w/highest safety standards and was flexible in adding extra ventilation work required. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring, as is all of her crew!

I've rated them a "D" because of their poor customer service. Shortly thereafter, they repeatedly called me to schedule the work. They later lowered the price as an additional incentive. A few months later, when I was ready to get the work done, I posed questions to make sure the work wouldn't interfere with my scheduled roof replacement. I went back and forth with them and, at my request, they sent an updated proposal. A month later, I contacted them to proceed and they told me the quote was no longer valid. At no point did they convey an expiration date (otherwise, I would not have wasted my time). When I elevated my concerns, the explanation I received was nonsensical (i.e., that the offer expired months ago - before they sent me an updated proposal). If that was the case, why didn't their agent get the memo? I politely asked them to remove my name from their database, but they continued to phone me (and their manager offered to remedy the "misunderstanding"). I got the work done by another company with no hassle or price changes.

Very nice technicians. They strive to accommodate your schedule. | |I would caution that their technicians are likely to recommend installing a liner to the chimney for around $1500. My husband called in one of the owners after receiving such a recommendation and was told that the liner was not necessary at that time.

Very prompt to inspect and perform services. The crew was extremely careful to eliminate dust and treat belongings with care. They work efficiently and professionally. The office seems less organized. I rescheduled and they still send the crew. I thought I been offered a damper with a specific brand but it turned out they gave me the one they provided. I accepted because their lifetime warranty on it anyway. I got double documents and I naively thought the follow up letter they mailed after the inspection offering me a "discount" was personal, when it was notl. I did not shop around too much for price, but the price seemed competitive. In the end I was pleased with the work, mostly the crew. I hear the wind a lot more now, but I don't feel any wind coming through.

Protected hard wood flooring and carpeting when accessing fireplace and furnace in home. Both technicians very knowledgeable about problems and both very knowledgeable about work that needed to be done and gave explainiations that were technical yet understandable to a lay person. Technicians were immediate in informing me of the presence of carbon monoxide in the home which explained some of the symptoms that I had been experiencing. I am grateful and attribute their expertise to saving the quality and life of my family. Work took 2-1/2 days to complete and they started at the very time that they said they would and finished when they said they would. Very satisfied with service and work done.

Provider was hired by a couple who was under contract to buy our house. The provider gave false information about the condition of our chimney. The provider did not do a video of our chimney but we did have a chimney company come and video our chimney. The repairs this provider said were needed were (in fact) not needed (new liners totaling more than $3000). When the chimney was videoed, it was found to be in very good shape and didn't even need to be cleaned. |Most chimney companies pay their workers on "commission". A buyer should beware that this is a conflict of interest and to look for a company that pays their staff and the workers are not fraudulently trying to sell consumers unnecessary repairs. Look for a company like Phoenix Chimney - who pay workers a fair wage to do honest work.

Went well. Came back a week later with a lower price than quoted. Completed the work on time. Cleaned up.
