Priddy Chimney Solutions

There were a number of problems with it and they did a great job.

I called them because the first company I called wouldn't clean the chimney saying it needed a new liner ($2500). Priddy said the liner was fine and did the cleaning. They then did an inspection on the roof and said the crown was cracked and the chimney needed to be water sealed (about $3000). I called another company for a 3rd opinion and guess what, no work needed to be done. I am very disappointed with Priddy.

I called, got a quote to clean and inspect chimney on the house I just purchased. I set up a date and time window between 8 and 10. On the appointed day nobody showed up. I called at 10 and they first said somebody was on the way and then a minute later said that they had no record of an appointment for me. What?

I got this reference off Angie's List. They were great. On time. On budget. Solid work. They work Saturday as a regular work week. Left our place cleaner than when they showed up. Even removed a dead squirrel (no kidding) from a separate flue. I definitely recommend this company to anyone needing chimney work of any sort. Their truck had all the parts necessary to deal with unexpected repairs that were needed. At the end of the job, they come down from the roof with Polaroids of everything they had done. Seriously.

Tony and Juan showed up on time, cleared away my furniture and carefully cleaned my chimney. The process was quick and virtually spotless. Tony gave me a lot of information about my chimney and exhaust pipe. Tony gave me additional information regarding other services provided by the company but did not try to sell me anything. As a result, I will probably look to Priddy again to clean my vents.

Very poorly. Do not recommend this company. Estimated cost was $169.

This company never showed up for the appointment. In fact, had I not called we would have probably still been waiting for them to arrive. We waited from 11:00AM to 1:00PM and never received a call for a status report. It s understandable that things happen and sometimes work can get backed up but having total disregard for the customer and their time is unacceptable. However, they did offer a $25 discount for the inconvenience but by then we were beyond fed up. Not to mention when we called in to find out what was going on, we were put on hold for over 20 minutes and then hung up on. Then we called back and stated that we had been put on hold and hung up on, only to be quickly put on hold again. After this, we were called back in 15 minutes time only to be told that they would not be able to come on that day and would be able to reschedule us two days later. By the time it was all said and done, I got off of the phone with them by about 3:00PM. I would never recommend this company.

The workers took a Polaroid picture of my chimney so I had a great visual of the damage. He gave me a price for the work on site and he had all the necessary materials in the truck to complete the repairs immediately. He removed the flue entirely to retrieve the dead birds. He used a vacuum to clean the chimney too. They performed the exterior work. Afterwards they took another Polaroid of the completed job.

I requested an estimate for a cord of wood ($200.00). The 1st agent I spoke to told me they had just started selling firewood and they only sold by the 'rack'. I requested that she get me a price for a full cord and call me back. Nobody ever called me back. I called at least 4 times trying to get the information. During a subsequent call, Christine told me they had been selling wood for many years, but she didn't know what a cord was, but she would deliver what she thought would be a cord. I told her I would measure it to see if it was indeed a full cord. Then she changed her mind and decided she didn't want to send it out if I was going to insist on a full cord.

On my first call, I was quoted a price for cleaning my chimney and wood stove. The agent didn't ask where I had gotten their name. I scheduled the appointment. Then I called back several days later to confirm, and inform them that I wished to use their Angie's List coupon. They said that they would not honor the coupon, because had they known at the time they quoted me their price that I intended to use a coupon, the quoted price would have been higher to compensate for the coupon. I canceled the appointment.

Excellent. Scheduling was prompt. Crew arrived early, was knowledgeable and polite. Would definitely hire again.

Extremely good service. Technicians arrived in the time they said they would, completed their work in about half-an-hour, and left no mess behind. Very professional and courteous in their interactions, and were helpful in answering questions I had about the chimney and fire safety. They made the suggestion to purchase the fireback, but there was not pressure to do so.

I was dissatisfied with the contractor. He was in a hurry with the job and went to the roof to inspect the chimney before he even rang the door bell. He did not seem very knowledgeable and I had to keep asking questions about the condition of the chimney to get the whole story. He said I probably needed the chimney relined if I safely wanted to use it. I got another contractor from a different company out who had a lot more experience and said that relining it was not necessary. I called the manager and expressed my disappointment with my service and she did an adequate job with service recovery, but didn't change my overall experience.

Called to get an estimate for installation of a stainless steel chimney liner; they charge a $59 inspection fee, just to give you an estimate, which can be applied to the work if they are hired; this discouraged my using them.

The workers came just a few minutes later than the 12-2 window, but the communication was excellent about this and it did not end up being a problem. They were courteous and did a thorough cleaning and inspection, which resulted in noting a couple of potential problems, for which a photograph and complete estimate was provided.

They did a great job cleaning my chimney. They made almost no mess at all and the little mess they actually did was vacuumed and cleaned up very well. I was extremely pleased with the way they cleaned up everything. They were on time and finished quickly. I don't remember the price, but I thought it was very reasonable. I would recommend them.

I have no complaints about anything they have done. I think they are great guys. The entire time that I have been working with them, they have always been neat and on time. I will definitely recommend them and continue with them.

They were very expensive but they were very good. The flues have a lifetime guarantee. I guess I wasn't expecting such extensive work to be done and the money spent. They were however very nice and very professional. They also came right out to do the work.

We had three different companies come out to our house to give us estimates. It was surprising to us how different they all were. We felt this company's was the most reasonable. They have found a few places in the chimney that need patching/repaired. We will probably be calling them back in the near future to also fix those for us.

They did a great job with my chimney and the cover. I am very pleased with the out come. The price was a little more than normal, but still quite reasonable. I was not all that pleased with the man who did the work, as he spent more time trying to get me to let him rebuild my chimney than doing the work that needed to be done.

I am extremely pleased with this company. They did a professional and thorough job. The staff is very neat, clean, polite, respectful, and comfortable to work with. They even gave me a discount and tips for more effective use. I would highly recommend them.

Priddy Clean Chimney Sweep Incorporated was on time and very professional. They did a very good job. The serviceman was neat and courteous. He explained everything he was doing very well. I would highly recommend this chimney sweep company.

Priddy clean was very efficient, careful and professional. Chimney sweeps have a horrible reputation for the up sell so I was prepared for the worst, but it never came. They informed me of other work that was optional and wrote the prices down on the receipt in case I decided to call them back. Nice.

Easy. Called work was scheduled for the next morning. The workers were nice and finished within the time they estimated. Ducts had not been cleaned in the 43 years. Yuck. Got everything out and showed me how much dust they pulled from the house.

Priddy Clean cleaned my fireplace and dryer vent last fall and did an excellent so when I accidentally dislodged the damper in my fireplace and couldn't get it back into place I called them. Mr. Priddy, who actually answered the phone himself, said he'd send someone out in two days - Saturday. Two guys showed up, fixed it in 5 minutes, didn't laugh at me for not being able to fix it myself and didn't charge me. They giggled when they saw me look at the bill in disbelief. That's what I call service.
