wanted to inspect by flashlight without going into crawlspace had to encourage to inspect up close - will admit had to remove stored items nonetheless he just wanted to see evidence of lime on inside cinder blocks of crawl space to then try and sell me 10 or 11 thousand dollars of service. inspection was just a set-up high pressure wanted me to spend hours seeing technical specs and what they had to sell. I had other things to do and thought I would have to punch this salesman or call the police to get him to leave house. became disrespectful of potential customer's time obviously paid on sales commission and not on salary to just inspect so I paid for value of small credit 300 dollars or so on 11,000 of service for which I will not proceed as not justified through the small slow occurring issues identified. would not do this approach again of paying for a small credit for otherwise free inspection to then receive high pressure time consuming - what would cause you to sign here? arrangement

Hired another contractor, Top Builders, who fixed the leak and performed basement improvements for less than 1/2 the cost.

It was good. They were very prompt and came when they said they were going to come. That was a good buy all over.

They did the work itself too. They showed up on time. They were fine and they were professional. Everything was good. I was happy with the service.

I would definitely recommend them; they complany sent someone very professional, patient and knowledgeable. It went well and was done quickly.

Overall the experience was positive. Because the work was done in the winter I do not think the pipe leading out of the house for one of the sump pumps was done the best. I think it is something we will need to get redone in the future.

Exceptional customer service! I haven't paid AquaGuard anything, and likely will not, as the purchaser of a home that had waterproofing work done under a previous owner. What stood out was the extremely responsive, courteous, and thorough transfer of the warranty. After calling, Crystal immediately took my purchasing documentation and passed it along to a manager, who approved the lifetime warranty transfer. Crystal then customized the warranty paperwork and sent a copy less than two hours later. If this is how they treat transferable warranties, I have no doubt they take great care of their customers and stand behind their work.

The contractor arrived on time for the appointment. The workers moved the basement items then wrapped them to keep them dust free. The workers removed the old basement concrete and materials under the floor with jack hammers then hauled all of those material away. Then a layer of pea gravel was installed along with piping around the perimeter of the foundation. Two sump pumps along with backup batteries were also installed. After county inspection of work, the foundation floor was replaced with new concrete. All materials and supplies along with debris was hauled away so it was left in excellent condition. The staff (on-site and office) explained each step of the process in a respectful manner while being professional and courteous during the entire job.

Never heard from them. i would like a refund!

It did not go at all as the work was not needed or recommended in our house situation.

I received an estimate that I felt was too high for the area they proposed to fix. I already had 2 other estimates waiting for appointments. I had already had my basement "waterproofed" by another company a year and a half ago, and spent the amount of money on it that this salesperson was giving me for just one corner of the house. The area he proposed was 4 feet on one corner and 4 feet on the other wall, same corner. I did arrange with another company, and Angie's List member, who came with an estimate, to do the work. They gave me several options and a good price to do both the inside of the entire basement and also to waterproof the same corner on the outside that was approx.$2500.00 less than the Aquaguard estimate.

The service provider was nice but the estimate provided was too expensive and we decided to no use this deal, and look into other service provider offering lower rates.

I don?t like their service. They are overpriced. Whatever they offered me for $8000 something, it is something I can get it dumped for a thousand dollar. I don?t like their price, that is all I can say. For this company to be better in the future, they have to do reasonable pricing. The price has to be very competitive. I don?t want to call somebody for some crazy quote. Their price is not fair. The price is extremely high.

It was determined that my wet basement was caused by a negligent tenant, as opposed to a foundation problem, so the work was not needed.

Their service was really good. They came out and took the time to explain everything while the workers were working. They made sure to point out things that would make the lasting of the work better, even the minor things that would make the overall issue better.

They came and they were fine. I didn’t use their plan because I thought they were more expensive and their plan was excessive.

This was so long ago that my memory is hazy. However, the provider insisted we would need a new sump pump and seemed reluctant at first to perform the tune up. We were suspicious that the "deal" was a route to a more expensive service rather than the provider doing what was promised. We insisted that the current pump be tested and tuned. The technician did so and "voila", the pump worked just fine and we didn't have to replace it. That gave us much peace of mind and we were pleased that the technician was able to confirm it. If we have further issues with moisture in our basement we will turn to Aquaguard first for an estimate. Rating would be borderline B+/A-.

I am renting and have been there six years. I gave the recommendations and the quote to the owner, but I do not know if he is going to do anything about it. When I saw the price I thought it was reasonable and was something I could afford if I did it. Their responsiveness was excellent. They did all the work the same day.

The wall in the basement is kind of wet and damp because it leaks when it rains. This company thinks it should be repaired. They were very good, thorough, on time and professional. They took their time in checking everything and explaining everything what he found in terms I could understand. They called several times to check back, but I could not give them the okay because I am not the owner. They were on time.

They came out quickly, within a week. They sent someone out for an estimate. I didn't end up using them because their solution was over the top and too expensive. The technician was very pleasant and professional. I am confident their solution would have worked really well, but I was just looking for a cheaper solution.

This is a copy of a letter I sent to the company: Hello Michelle, I would like to request a refund. The person that showed up at my house did a very bad job. I called because I know I have water coming inside my crawlspace from the east wall. Your technician after allegedly being in the crawl space (did not bring a flashlight for a job after 5PM) for less than 5 minutes, came inside the house and after 15-20 minutes of chit-chat about his family history how they came from western Europe, I had to stop him. Then I asked him about the remedy for my problem. He responded " you need easy breeze,(if I am not mistaken that is the name of the equipment he suggested to remove moisture from the crawl space) some leveling of the crawl space with gravel, a vapor barrier and a sump=pump" . Since I know that I have water infiltrating through the east foundation wall into the crawl space, I asked him what he proposed. His answer? " Do not worry about the wall problem the most important thing you need to do I told you already:,For how much. I asked. $4,400. And wanted me to sign a contract. I asked him how the equipment functions, since he told me some products in that equipment would clean the air. I stated I do not want chemicals, but he did not know how the equipment he wanted to sell really works. He took out some stapled pages with the sketch of an installed equipment but never answered to my question. So why did I pay $39? For an inspection and a plan to solve my problem. I got neither. So please refund my money because estimates I can get for free, and that is what I got, and was not even written down. And please send professionals! Thank you, Ester

Things went extremely well. My house sits on NUMEROUS underground springs. I discovered water damage in multiple corners of my basement three weeks before Christmas that alerted me that my drainage system was again failing. I had just replaced my sump pump three months earlier and it had failed. I despaired that there would certainly be no solution until after the holidays. A friend advised me to call Aquaguard, and the salesman was at my home the very next day--a Saturday no less. After going through the basement and crawl space and demonstrating an excellent fund of knowledge about the fundamental problem and the solution, he gave me an estimate that I thought was totally reasonable given the scope of work. The workers started work a week before Christmas, and worked through noon on Christmas Eve, then returned on 12/29/2014 to clean up. I should say that when the workmen uncovered the old drainage system, it was totally obstructed with sediment and a rushing stream was literally flowing around my basement into the sump pit. The workers were meticulous and made sure to remove every bit of gravel and cement from my driveway, and to keep dust from coming upstairs. They encountered an unexpected problem and addressed it at no extra cost to me, even though it probably added another day to the job. I am not a rich person, but I was thrilled to spend that amount of money to have the peace of mind to know that my water problems have been definitively addressed, and if another problem occurs, Aquaguard will honor their lifetime guarantee. I later found out that one of my neighbors "downstream" from me had used Aquaguard over ten years ago and have had a dry basement ever since! Highly recommend them.
