Description of Work: AquaGuard reviewed the drainage in and around my foundation and made some recommendations. The recommendations were not for services supplied by AquaGuard (I found this refreshing and honest). The other separate service provided was a cleaning of the sump pump hole and pump. The other "non-pump" portions of the sump pump were updated if showing wear. Not sure if this was necessary but it did make me feel as there was a good amount of attention provided to this service action.

Description of Work: When I requested to schedule an appointment for the tune up, I was asked how old my sump pumps were and told that perhaps I needed new sump pumps. I expressed concern that this was being stated without looking at the sump pumps. When I described my water problems in the basement, the company offered to waterproof the entire basement. The first proposal was for $18140. and the second proposal was for $9327.. I feel strongly that the company was not interested in tuning up my sump pumps but rather to sell me a pretty expensive product. I spoke with Stephen Washington at Aquaguard and he told me that I needed to get the refund from Angie's List.
