Description of Work: I purchased an waterproofing evaluation and assessment for my home. The gentleman came out walked throughout the house with my husband and after wrote up an assessment plan. The plan basically made it sound like the house foundation was going to crumble at any minute. He stated his plan to fix would cost about $17,000.00. But he was going to offer us a special deal just for today. At this point I lost interest and after telling him we would not be purchasing a plan at this point, he left. I have never received a call back from the company and feel the purchase I made for the evaluation was not only a waste but I feel like I was taken for a ride.

Description of Work: Inspector came after dark to look at outside foundation to identify drainage problems and suggest solutions--but it was dark, thus could not see. Looked at basement interior. Was not very insightful either in the observations he made or solutions suggested.

Description of Work: Drilled around basement wall, put in drainage pipes and sump pumps, re-poured concrete to fill in holes in floor. So far, no more water leakage. Can hear |the sump pumps working and can see the water being expelled outside.

Description of Work: Came to our house on a very snowy morning to replace a failed sump pump. This was an emergency call, as the backup pump was being overtaxed. They came to our house within 1 hour of my calling the dispatcher. It was a difficult installation in a cramped sump pit, but everything is working well. I recommend them for any sump pump installations or replacements.

Description of Work: service person stoped by to inspect foundation for water leaks. i was looking for an inspector to see if my foundation had a fault/damage, not necessary water leaks. inspector found no leaks, and said foundation was in order. it was a case of mistaken service/expectations on my part, but inspector was professional about it.

Description of Work: Service provider arrived, took a quick look at our basement and then proceeded to tell us that we'd need a $8000+ service for a preventative fix for some minor , intermittent leaks. Provider was very pushy, did not take time to listen or explain service options. Felt bulldozed. Provider promised to follow-up with a written assessment by email but this was never provided.

Description of Work: We purchased a "Big Deal" for these guys to come out and give us a full water leakage prevention plan for our whole house. Instead we got a 15 minute estimate to fix an existing problem. I didn't understand why we basically just paid for an estimate when everyone else does that for free. I contacted the company for a refund but instead they said they would just come out again. I did appreciate the willingness to try to make it right but by that time we had already gotten another estimate that was half the price of theirs so I just let it go.
