Description of Work: To say they were expensive is an understatement. Wanted to redo where there was no current leak and suggested a $6000 drop if I "signed right away" on the spot! They are current 4 times what the next bid was. Totally outrageous and should not be listed on Angie's list as an option, in my opinion, based on my experience!

We apologize that the member did not have a great experience with our company. Many times a client has a number in their mind for the price of this type of work that we cannot reach. This was an extensive project and our rep started to reduce some of the spec's to get to a more affordable amount. Aquaguard has been in business for over 25 years and is the go to foundation repair contractor for most of the areas homeowners, engineers, builders and architects. It's also a testament to our 30,000 plus homeowners and businesses that have put their trust in Aquaguard.. In 2015 we celebrated our 25th Anniversary and we still honor the warranty from the first job we did in 1990. We wish we could turn back the hands of time and start over, but sometimes our services are not in line with what some homeowners expectations are. Description of Work: They installed a sub-floor pressure relief system; including a sump-pump. The work took much longer than expected and included requirements that while buried in the contract were not sufficiently explained by the salesman. The Administrative staff is top-notch and extremely responsive. The subcontractors were hard working and extremely professional although they struggled understanding English.

Description of Work: The service is not what I expected. I thought they were structural engineers. My mistake. Therefore I don't want to rate their services. Since I have to rate them overall, I am putting an F but I would have like to have to option to put Not applicable.

If we understand correctly, this person rated us an "F" because we are not engineers, and because they did want to pass up the chance to submit a. review (even though it does not apply to them), and chose to give us a "F". To address our client base and the Angie's List Community, we want to state on record that we do offer structural engineer services if needed. These services are not always required when it comes to waterproofing, but sometimes they are. There is a fee associated with these services, which is clearly explained during the free consultation. Description of Work: They did a wonderful job. Problem was perfectly diagnosed and installers worked quickly--they were very helpful and careful. Only problem we had was with scheduling the work visit--they were quite busy at the time last summer and it was hard to connect with the company. Once we did, though, we were very pleased with the result.
