Description of Work: I contacted them for a quote and was made immediately suspicious when the lady asked me to verbally agree to "consider" them regardless of the price they quoted me. When the guy got there, he immediately came off as condescending and was complaining about how dysfunctional the liberal lawmakers were in Annapolis (he had just come from lobbying them in the state house). | |Then I showed him want I wanted - which was a new egress window cut into my foundation. He then inaccurately stated that the wall I wanted to cut into was NOT a load-bearing wall (it is). He then gave me a hard quote at $13,000. To cut a window and dig a hole. He said that no one would do as good of a job as they would and he insisted that I needed to install an additional sump pump and even if I didn't want it, they would charge me for it anyway. He described their process for installing an egress window, stating that no one else did it this way. I will say that once I said I couldn't afford $13,000, he went on to give me a bunch of good information regarding what I should look for when finding a different contractor, but he said that no one else would do it like they do it. | |As he was leaving, he insisted on grilling me about which republican presidential candidate I wanted to win, being very presumptive about my political leanings and insulting Hilary Clinton. | |I found another company that did the EXACT SAME JOB as this guy proposed for less than HALF of what they wanted to charge and who was much more flexible regarding price and scope of work. If all you want is an egress window cut, do not use these guys. | |

Description of Work: I had water coming in to my family room. They dug up around the patio door & laid cement so water would drain properly. The salesman Joseph Roberts was very professional & knowledgeable. The crew led by Orlando were very efficient & courteous.

Description of Work: Had three visits from three different experience of people. The first person had no experience other than his Father did similar work. Two weeks after the basement had water on the floor. 2nd Representative told me it would cost me from 6-8000 to fix. I told him I would call him back. Before I could call a third guy arrived and told me the problem was not what the other two stated and the company who install the sub pump did a bad job and the would re-install the entire system. I said no thank you, but surprising I received a call last month trying to schedule an appt. This was a waste of time.

Dug about 8 ft deep trench along rear wall of house - (without disturbing new deck)difficult job with shovels, and buckets to haul out dirt.Hard workers - were considerate - picked up at day's end - played music at reasonable level - parked to leave room for client to come and go. Took longer than estimated - hard job! Restored yard to better than original appearance.

Description of Work: Inspected basement for the cause of leaks through the wall and outdoor ground for drainage away from the house. Did get a verbal explanation and an estimate to repair the leaks however I would have expected a follow-up e-mail with the inspection results and repair cost.

Description of Work: The $39 foundation inspection was done. I wanted to know where the water was coming from to flood my basement. The worker, Mr. Tom gave me an estimated idea of where the water was coming from. However he said they mainly detect water problems that are coming from under the house into the basement. My water was coming from outside the house, possibly some cracked cement. Mr. Tim was very helpful in suggesting a few things to get done to possibly stop the water from coming into the basement.

Description of Work: Good company and they did good work. Very responsive. But the sales person was very high pressure and sold us a pricey package that we didn't need and was not knowledgable about what would happen because we had a well and not city water. For that reason we were not prepared for the extent of the work or how much it would alter our daily life.
