Description of Work: I would not recommend a company like this who sends out a salesman instead of a contractor. The salesman was very nice and I know he is trying to make a living, but he was here for 4+ hours trying to sell us the service. It was $12,000 + for 1 wall or $24,000+ for all 4 walls and then a sales tactic was used to try to get us to "do business" that night. The salesman dropped the price substantially, but said we had to make a decision before he left. Some sleep and hindsight and now I'm thinking why did I let it go on for 4 hours! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME! What a shame that these types of sales tactics still exist. Nothing worse than dishonesty!

Description of Work: I needed a leak in our bedroom evaluated and after they got to my house, they said they don't do that kind of work. The request was explained over the phone when the appointment was scheduled, so it was quite a shock to get this response from the workers. Of course, they also said the scheduling staff doesn't know what they're doing...

+ -1 moreDoubtful at first, I'm very pleased that I had this done and can now move on the the remodeling part of my basement.
Description of Work: They had to dig down about 6 inches of my basement floor to install the sump pump, they cut the paneling all the way around the perimeter of the basement (actually only three of the four walls), and they removed the big bulky furniture that I was unable to remove before starting the job (that was a bonus). It was a two-day job. They even patched a wall for me that was pointed out to me by the Company Representative (thanks a lot). JT Trundle was my origianl POC, but Keith Linthicum and his crew performed the work, clean up and was gone without any problem. I would definitely hire them again if I had to!

+ -1 moreOverall, we were happy with the work performed. It was done in a timely manner. The company responded in an appropriate manner to a problem the crew found when doing the work. While there was an extra charge, it was reasonable and explained by James Bowman in the office. Aqua Guard was not the lowest bid we received, but the overall quality of both the inspection and the work performed made it well worth the extra money.
Description of Work: Aqua Guard did a thorough inspection of our garage. We had been having seepage problems between the cinder block foundation and concrete floor. Of the three companies we contacted for estimates, Aqua Guard was the most professional and by far gave the best inspection. They showed us pictures of the work to be performed and explained things in detail. Then, Aqua Guard excavated by jack hammer a 22x22 foot section (two outside walls) of our garage floor next to the wall, installed a gravel base and drain pipe sloped to an underground heavy duty sump pump. They then tied in the sump pump drain to exterior drainage outside our home.

+ -1 moreThe work was done satisfactory, but a window was broken, water pipes switched on working machine. The manager John Bryant did a follow up call and "smoothed" things over quite nicely. They reached out to me after I was dissatisfied and truly made the situation right. I was quite impressed by their willingness to resolve the issue. They apologized for the problems and followed up with me even though I have no further need for their services. I really appreciate their customer liaison, Lynette, she was very friendly. If they continue to employ such professionals they will go far.

+ 0 moreAqua guard was extremely professional and responsive. The estimator was thorough and took a lot of time to explain the problem and options. The staff at the office was pleasant, (especially Rhonda) very professional and called back to confirm dates and expertly answer my questions. The foreman called from the road when he was delayed in traffic and the crew was exceptionally friendly and carefully cleaned up, each day. The work was really well done, exactly as described and they stayed late to finish on a Saturday. While I think you might find this type of work a little cheaper, I would go with these guys again because they were so reliable, neat and pleasant to work with.

+ -1 moreWE HAVE BEEN REALLY PLEASED WITH THE RESULTS, AND IT HAS BEEN A COUPLE OF YEARS WITH NO MORE DAMP BASEMENT AFTER HARD RAINSTORMS. THE WORKERS WERE VERY NEAT, AND CLEANED UP WHEN FINISHED. WE WERE LEFT WITH PROPER INSTRUCTIONS NOT TO SET ANYTHING OVER THE CONCRETE FILLED-IN OVER THE DRAIN AREA FOR AWHILE.
