Gutter now secured to the garage better than the contractor version it replaced. Screening on the front gutter should keep debris from gathering there.

The WS contractor was very responsive and professional. The problem I usually have with most contractors is they don't call back and you have to chase them down for follow ups and information. I was having that same issue when I cut my losses and went on Angie's list looking for another contractor. In the end WS Contractors felt like the best fit for me. My experience with the owner Mr. Abe Wilcox was very refreshing. If he missed my call, he responded within a few hours, emails within the same day. I'm the type that asks A LOT of questions, and he wasn't impatient nor made me feel as if I was wasting his time. I felt like a valued customer. I received my quote within the timeframe he stated I would get it and the pricing was competitive based on quotes I had received from other contractors, and much lower than the bigger companies. My roof is about 1200 Sq Ft, shingles installed were GAF 30 year, water and ice shield, the works. The work was completed in about 6 hours. Abe the owner was back and forth a few times but on site for the majority of the job. The workers were professional, efficient, and took care not to damage my property or the neighbors'. I peeped them out the window (I have a 2 level bump out so could see some of the work) and they took care when removing all the old shingles especially when close to the siding, and all the debris before starting the install. After clean up in which they also picked up all the nails, and cleaned and replaced my gutter guards, it looked like they were never here except for the shiny new roof. I would definitely hire WS Contractors again, and recommend them to all my friends.

Abe runs a very honest company! I had them put in a fan almost two years ago. The fan stopped working after 21 months. I called Abe at WS contractors and he came out and replaced the fan under the warranty. at no cost. It is so nice to find a man and company that is not out to screw the homeowner. Thank you Abe! The recent rain storm presented a small leak in my roof. I immediately panicked because I never had to deal with a roofing problem. I called a person from a local posting I saw in the neighborhood. They came out and quoted a price of 525 dollars, and said I needed extensive work on my roof. I was upset! I did not feel comfortable with the quote and the need to have extensive work on my roof. Thank God for Angie's List because I found WS Contractor. I called Abe and he immediately knew what to do. He quoted a price of 185 dollars, and he said it was a minor repair. I recently had Solar panels placed on my roof and one of the workers stepped improperly and damaged the shingle. He came to the house on time, polite, honest, and finished the job in less than 1 hour. He said I have 5 more years before I start thinking about repairing my roof. Abe was awesome!! WS Contractor is awesome! I will be calling them in the next few years to repair my entire roof!

Abe and his crew arrived 20 minutes before scheduled start time. They were very professional on how they conducted the installation, and themselves. Prior to installation Abe explained the whole process to my wife and I, which really eased the nerves because we just had our roof redone a year and a half ago. The installation went smooth and aside from the low profile attic fan on our roof, you couldn't tell that anything had been done after they left. Now the upstairs feels a whole lot more comfortable during these past few hot days we've been having. Also took a look in the attic after the last down pour and no leaks. Glad we contacted WS Contractors. Abe and his crew did a super job. Definitely recommend WS Contractors for this type of install.

WS Contractors scheduled the installation of my attic fan at my convenience, and arrived promptly. Actually, the crew arrived 20 minutes early, and completed the installation in a very short time. Fantastic. The crew was friendly, skillful, and professional. The job could not have gone better. We are super satisfied. My wife and I will call them again for other jobs around the house, and we have already recommended WS Contractors to some of our friends. Can't get better than that!

Abe did a great job. He provided a written estimate. I asked him to do the work, and he was available within a couple of days. The ceiling patch was smooth and ready for me to primer paint. All I had to do was sand one little spot and rub a bit of spackle off the adjoining wall. I tried unscrewing my shower arm which was the original from 40 years ago and felt frozen when I tried it. I was afraid of breaking something by forcing it. Abe worked some magic, got it out, and screwed in the new arm. He was easy to deal with and professional.

I got a quote from Abe last year but was unable to find the time (of money) to get the work done. I contact him about a month ago and told him I was ready to replace my roof and even kept the price from the last quote. Abe and his crew did a great job and worked around the weather to get the job done quickly and professionally. They had to replace 4 to 5 sheets of plywood along with the roofing material. The skylight that he got was a little smaller that the one installed. He was able to trim out the inside with molding and it looks very nice. He cleaned up the area and we were pleased with his work and price.

For peace of mind, for service, for quality workmanship, and materials I highly recommend Abe Wilcox and WS Contracting. And now my wife?s review. Abe personally oversaw the entire project and answered all of our questions. We had a concern that he would sub the project out, but he assured us that his employees would do all the work. As for his crew, they arrived early in the morning and never stopped until the job was complete. We were concerned because a large blizzard was predicted for 2 days from the start of the roof, however, Abe and his team were true to their word and completed the roof right on schedule. They even left our property cleaner than when they began the job. Of course the gutters had to wait a week due to 2+ feet of snow so we kept the old ones attached until the snow event was over. Once the new gutters were installed, Abe examined the completed work and fixed a couple of minor cosmetic issues. He did not bother us about the final payment until we were completely satisfied. It was a pleasure doing business with a company that is this professional, courteous, and trustworthy. We would recommend WS Contracting to anyone needing any of the contracting services they provide.

This was a somewhat long sales process because I kept changing my mind and considering many different options. "Abe" the owner was extremely patient with me and spent quite a bit of time discussing the different options and made many good suggestions. He also consulted with other professionals and structural engineers to assist in the decision process. I never once felt pressured or pushed into doing anything. He personally met with me at my house several times (and numerous calls, text & emails) to discuss different options and costs and provided estimates for each. NO PRESSURE from him whatsoever. He simply spelled out all the options and the costs associated with each and more importantly what was the best and safest option for the future. What impressed me on many occasions was his concern for safety and "doing it right" even if that option meant the costs would be less. I never once felt he was just trying to push me toward the most expensive solution which he did NOT! Throughout the pre-sales process Abe stayed in contact with me. Additionally, he answered text, emails and phone calls very timely. I've had many, many dealings with contractors and service providers over the years and frankly I dread most of the experiences. The "other guys" could take lessons from Abe on how to run a business and how to provide top-notch customer service. I'm a busy man and need answers and information. Just sitting in limbo waiting for a response from a contractor is beyond frustrating when you have your own time schedule and things to do. Abe never once disappointed me. If he couldn't answer my question right away because he was busy with something else at the moment (which didn't happen much), he was ALWAYS professional and would respond and let me know when to expect a reply. That is great customer service!!!! If you can't already tell, I'm a man that's all about customer service and professionalism. I have absolutely no tolerance for unprofessional contractors who just want the quick buck and think they are doing you a favor. Once I decided on what I wanted, the process was just as smooth. Abe gave me a REALISTIC time frame the work would be started and completed. There were no false promises or BS. The job was completed in the time frame I was told in-spite of some structural issues that popped up which were addressed and corrected at no additional cost. Yes you read that correctly. There were quite a few things that came up (some minor, one somewhat major) that were addressed. Not surprising considering my house was built in the 1920's, AND the 1950's AND the 1970's. Abe spoke with me each time and explained what he ran into. He then suggested the SAFEST method to correct the problem. He even corrected a few "cosmetic" type issues. I ask him one day "what are you guys doing there?". He said he didn't like how the wall bowed in and out a little. It wasn't a structural safety issue. It just looked a little off and had been there long before he started the job. It was not part of the project and he had no obligation to correct it and I had no expectation that he would but HE DID! All of these types of issues were done and no additional cost. The first time he called me and told me about the one somewhat major issue, the first thing that went through my mind is "boy this is going to cost me". It did NOT cost me anything. He simply wanted to communicate what he had found and to let me know he needed to add 4 inches to one of the walls. Seriously? 4 INCHES! Most contractors would have not cared or would have used that as an excuse to get more money. Not Abe!!! Bottom line. My new roof looks beyond awesome! My interior ceiling height is now 1 1/2 foot higher and my house feels open and so much more comfortable. A few days after completing the roof we got over 2 FOOT of snow. Since my ceiling is still open (waiting for me to do the drywall) I could see every square inches of the roof from inside. No leaks, no drips & no problems whatsoever. If you want a terrific contractor that isn't just interested in your bank account and really cares and takes pride in their work, than look no further. I should also mention that all of Abe's crew were friendly and very professional. I spoke with a couple neighbors as well and they said the "workers" were very professional and "worked their tails off". One neighbors commented how impressed he was with how the "workers" clean up after themselves. I'm a very tough customer to work with and can almost always find something to complain about. Not this time!!! I have no complaints ... PERIOD! THANK YOU ABE!!!

My home needed a new roof recently. I contacted several roofing companies for estimates. Most of the estimates were in the same price range. I chose WS Contractors because I had Abe Wilcox do other jobs for me in the past so I felt confident that he would do a good job. Abe?s roofing crew was efficient, courteous and on time. Thanks to Abe the new roof looks great. I have always been happy with the quality of work that Abe Wilcox provides.

My experience was excellent. I spoke with several roofers and Abe was the only one who discussed the pros and cons of multiple options. He also provided a solution to our insulation concerns, since the house is nearly 100 years old. The work was done promptly and professionally. There was a small issue with the gutter after the first rain but Abe promptly and effectively addressed our concerns. The follow-up was excellent! Abe is very busy......That's what happens when you do good work.....So sometimes responses are delayed, but I had no significant problems in contacting him or in getting meaningful responses. I absolutely would use WS Contractors again and, in fact, have several project in mind.
