Abe is the perfect professional. His work product is top notch. He is always on time and willing to adjust the project as needed. The job site is always completely clean at the end of the day. He might be a little higher in price than some others, but the end product and the way he completes the project is well worth it.

Abe made our short list based on previous Angie's List reviews. Since he is located about 50 miles away, he worked up an estimate via email based on photos we sent him and some measurements we took. His estimate was very reasonable, so we scheduled the work. Everything went extremely well: he arrived right on schedule, all the tasks in the contract were completed that day, and everything was cleaned up when he left. Very nice work in particular on the wood trim replacement- matched the previous design, and no more wood rot with the PVC. We highly recommend Abe for any home improvement project, and plan on having him back in the future.

From soup to nuts, I was very impressed. Abe was quick to respond, provided a great price (much cheaper than competitors w/same materials/craftsmanship), and executed the work in a very timely manner.

I contacted Abe based upon his ratings on Angie's List. He replyed within a day to my e-mail and we set up a date for the work, which was only a few days later. He arrived right on time and worked diligently. He discovered a problem with my old support columns that created an invisible but extremely dangerous possiblity of collapse for my front porch and agreed to fix it. He recommended using new plastic composites instead of wood to make the columns last and I agreed. We agreed on a very reasonable price and he returned the following week and completed the work. He and his men worked efficiently and neatly. He re et my gutters and left not a trace of debris when he finished. The finished product was beautiful and they looked as if they were an original part of the house because of the quality. I enthusiastically endorse Abe and encourage that you hire him.

I found WS Contractors on Angie's List, called them, scheduled an estimate and in less than a week had the steps installed. WS Contractors was knowledgeable of local building codes and provided excellent customer service. I was impressed with their affordability and profiessionalism. My work was done well and in a timely fashion and I will definitely use them for future home improvement projects.

The estimate was very fair and the work was completed quickly. There was some delay getting started because of email communications not getting through. The two who did all of the work were quiet, efficient, responsive to questions and comments, and the work was professional and complete.

Dave was pleasant and competent, he made an effort to fix my existing garbage disposal rather than replacing it in order to save me some money. In the end, it did need replacing. The price is what was quoted to me prior to the visit. I will definitely use this company again.

He was very good! he came in gave me an estimate which blew the others estimates out of the water! he came in to do the work and ended up having to do a little extra (moving a light fixture and bathroom exhaust.....). However when I got the final bill I was expecting to see it be higher than the estimate due to the extra work, but it was actually the same it may have been slightly cheaper. He did good work patched up any holes that were made and was quick. His scheduling is a little weird but he is worth it.

Abe is extremely professional in his work. He provided a written estimate of the work which he adhered to . He was flexible in terms of our needs and made changes as we requested. The job site was always clean and the finished product was exactly as we had requested. We would recommend Abe to anyone who wants an top notch work product.

I contacted WS Contractors via phone. I spoke with Abe. As requested, I sent the job's details via email. I wanted to have all of my interior doors replaced with new door slabs. This job entailed, sizing each door, routing the hinges and door handle hardware to fit pre-existing mounting points. I was provided a quote and we scheduled the job for 10 days later. I purchased the door slabs at Lowes and WS Contractors picked them up on the morning of the job. As scheduled, WS Contractors showed up on time at 8:30. Upon arrival, I showed them all of the doors and they promptly started work. WS worked through out the day to replace all of the doors. Upon completion, WS vacuumed the areas around the doors, cleaned the entrance area that they had utilized and disposed of the old doors. The new doors look great. I have requested additional quotes for other upgrades from WS Contractors. I would highly recommend WS Contractors. Thanks Abe and Dave.

They did an excellent job. Well within the time and budget planned. The finished product is well above expectations. The floor looks great.

Abe and his coworkier worked hard all day until the job was done. They did a precision job and cleaned up all the mess. I'd hire them again in a second. I have already recommended them to friends.

I contacted WS Contractors via email from Angie's list early on a Saturday morning requesting an estimate. Abe responded to my email within 30 minutes and came out to my house that same day to give me an estimate. He responded to me a day later with the written estimate which I felt to be fair and reasonable in price compared to other estimates I had obtained. Luckily for me he had a cancelation and was able to do the job on the day before Thanksgiving. I was relieved considering I had a huge hole in my ceiling from a recent fire I had in my house and didn't want dinner guests to see it. Abe arrived on the job as scheduled and he and his helper performed the work as requested and did a great job. They cleaned up when they were finished and also took all of the trash with them. They even took with them the empty ceiling fan boxes. I am definitely planning on having him come back again in a few weeks to install a fireplace mantel shelf for me. This was my first experience with Angie's list and it was a good one! I highly recommend the services of WS Contractors.

I described my project on Angie's List and selected WS CONTRACTORS INC based on ratings. I believe WS next contacted me via phone. We agreed on a date to come and see the work I needed done. Abe Wilcox arrived on time, had no hesitation about the job and described what he could do. I accepted Abe's estimate and we agreed on a date the next week, when he could start. He arrived extremely promptly and he showed me what he had done when he was finished, a few hours later. The experience was totally painlessand trouble-free. Abe even gave me advice about future work to anticipate baed on the house construction.

I had a kitchen and dining room that I wanted laminated flooring installed on. I had purchased the flooring. Abe gave a very fair price, especially compared to Empire or Home Depot, whose estimates were 4-5 times his.Abe was very quick to respond to phone calls. He was punctual and professional.The quality of the work is exceptional.

It went extremely well. Abe Wilcox, similar to other reports that I read, was punctual, reliable, and incredibly professional and did a very comprehensive job. I was quite happy with his work and would use him again for other repairs that I can't handle on the house.

WS Contractors is by far the most honest and professional contractor we have worked with. A few years ago, we used them for hardwood flooring and replaced interior doors and were impressed enough to call them back when our next home needed a roof. Abe Wilcox, the owner, came to our home, thoroughly inspected the roof, and sent us an email estimate the following day. The roof repair was done within the timelines we were told, the roof looks great, and our yard was cleared of all debris. In addition to the roof, Abe also repaired the ceiling in several spots due to roof leaks. The finished ceilings looked brand new! After the roof repair, we asked about carpet and Abe told us he could give us an estimate for that as well. We had our entire basement recarpeted. Abe stayed the entire day to oversee the work of the carpet installers. At one point, I was checking on the work and noticed that the closet doors were not opening well due to the height of the new carpet. I mentioned this to one of the installers who chuckled and said "Don't worry, Abe has already started removing the doors to plane them down!" Abe is a perfectionist in his work and as my husband likes to say, is also "no drama." The price he quotes is fair, he is a true craftsman, he answers his phone whenever you call (or returns the call quickly), and the finished product is polished and professional.

I called Abe about my laundry room floor. He quickly returned my call and set up an estimate the next day. I met with Abe and we discussed the project. He gave me floor samples to look over and said he would send a contract detailing work. The contract was in my email box the next day and we set up time to do the work. The day of the installation I called Abe to postpone the installation because I found a leak in the plumbing in my laundry room. Abe said he would be happy to stop by my house that again that evening and look at the leaking area. After finding the leak Abe agreed he could do the work and we set up a time for him to come back and complete installation of floor in laundry room, fix kitchen wood floor and fix the leaking pipe. On the day of the installation, Abe showed up early ready to get started. All work was completed that day and Abe even patched up drywall damage for me. He was very clean, cleaned up everything. Abe is extremely easy to deal with and I will recommend him to my friends and I will carry his card with me at all times. I am purchasing a new home and after I get in I will call Abe to walk through with me to access projects needed. If you need someone who is on time, does great work and is a genuine nice guy call Abe!!!

I am more than happy with how this work went. Abe showed up at the time he said he would and got to work right away. He explained everything he was going to do, and kept me in the loop as the work progressed throughout the morning. Although the work on the front door presented several unforeseen and significant problems, he kept to the estimate. In addition to that, all the work was completed to the highest standard. There had been a significant energy loss through our front and basement doors, and after the work was finished, there were absolutely no drafts in either. The door frame repairs were also excellent (that was the unforeseen part), and Abe showed me exactly what they were doing and how the frame issue was a large part of the problem. After all the work was done, Abe showed me exactly what they had completed and told me that if there were any problems, I should call him and he'd sort it out. I could tell from what he showed me that there were going to be no problems. But the most impressive thing for me is that on the way out I mentioned a gutter at the front of the house that had been looked at and "repaired" by another contractor. I had also tried to fix it myself, but the gutter was still not flush with the house. The result was water cascading into the front flower beds. Abe said he'd take a quick look at it, found the issue, and fixed it at no extra charge. That action alone guarantees that any handyman work I need done, it will be done by WS Contractors. I will also recommend him without reservations to my friends for the same.

They did a fantastic job and I would recommend them to all members. I spent $4500 on that work. He never told us what we could and could not do. He came back and corrected anything that we were not happy about. He did a great job. I have recommended him to 2 of my friends already. The worker her got along was great.
