Very good and well done.

The sales rep came to our house and gave us the pitch of how our house will be a model house in the neighborhood and ow they take pride in their product and would like us to advertise for the company after the work was done. Around the same time, we had other estimates and Prestige was somewhat in the middle but, we figured we'll go with a company that's been around for a while. We sign the contract and paid the deposit. After the 3 days grace period passed, we where contacted by the company to set up measurements. One of their specialists came by and measured our windows. So far so good. About 4 weeks later, we where told that the windows arrived and asked to set up 2 days for installation. So we did. Up until this point, everything went very smooth and we were very pleased with our decision. A couple of days before the scheduled date, it rained significantly but on the first scheduled day, there was no rain. my wife and I took time off from work (we need to give one week notice) to wait for the installers to come those 2 days. Around 10-11AM, when nobody showed up, we called Prestige to find out what happens. We were told that the job had to be re-scheduled due to weather conditions (the rain from the days before). We were upset that nobody bothered to call us and let us know. They appologized and promissed to finish the sned enough people to finish the entire job on one day. When they came that day, three people showed up around 10AM and when they realized what their up against, they told us there si no way they can finish in one day. Looking back, I should have stopped them right then, terminate the contract and sue Prestige to recover our deposit. What followed was a complete lack of respect for our time and schedule.It took 4 days to change the windows, spread over a couple of weeks. During this time, we had no clue if anybody will come and at what time. One evening, we were told the next day they'll come at 10AM. At 8AM, I was in my PJs when they showed up. Sometimes we would be told that and quot;Brianand quot; will call us to set up another visit. No phone calls from Brian for a couple of days, we would call them and sure enough, Brian would say: and quot;Oh ya, we scheduled them for Thursday...and quot; scheduled them? Did you talk to us about it? Anyway, I could go on and on about this. Bottom line, we like the windows now, but there is no way in h*** I would go through this again...

We had five estimates done by other Companies, between 12K to 18K. Their sales person did a power point presentation that we had to go through. He could not answer any questions pertaining to our roofing project. No knowledge at all. The price he gave us was 30k,however if we signed today the price would be 18k. A complete scam! We asked for an estimate, but he refused to give us one.We promptly showed him our front door.

The price was good, but I ask for some references or completed jobs, that I could check. The estimator said he would email me some locations and customers to check. The estimator did not comply with the email, so I continued to look elsewhere.

Totally unprofessional canvassing - almost to the point of harassing when they come to the door. Many of my neighbors have complained about the same issue; repetitive tries to sell product even after being told "NO"!

It is now 6:30PM on the day of the meeting. The meeting time has come and gone, and they have neither showed up nor called. I can see my neighbor's house from my front window, and they were not visited at 5PM either. So they either missed that meeting as well (although maybe they actually got a call), or they lied about visiting my neighbor to try to make me more willing to have them give me an estimate. But that is neither here nor there; the main point is that they couldn't keep a meeting or notify me. I don't plan to schedule a new meeting time for estimates if they show up or call later, there are tons of service providers in this area, why deal with a company with such poor professionalism? On the plus side, the salesman that came to the door the day before was polite.

The work was completed in one day. Not only did they comply with the written contract they did everything the salesman had promised in the verbal contract.

I was told that it would come with new gutters and gutter covers. When they did the work, it did not include the gutters. He told me that everyone puts on new gutter covers on the old gutters. I then asked them to just finish the patio door. The door that was installed is too small. The owner said he measured the doors, but they are still too small. We asked for consideration and they said they don't do considerations which came directly from the owner. This was very poor customer service and I will never work with this company again.

Awesome job!! Thanks Prestige Windows for giving our entire home a face-lift. My wife and I both are so happy and full of smiles every time we open our windows or see them when we come home. BONUS: I was not anticipating the sound reduction which some military folks are certain to appreciate! My wife and I had to turn our heater down and it's nice to only use the fire place if we want the visual effect of seeing the fire since the windows are so good at keeping the cold out. Despite the snow outside we still turned the thermostat down and can stand in front of the windows wearing shorts without getting cold. BONUS: They were fast and worked around my security system and even added a window frame that was not part of the deal. They also worked around a very challenging sink faucet (thanks Paul). I highly recommend them for cost/professionalism/expertise/energy savings/and sound reduction. My wife and I clearly got a face-lift along with our house on this huge window project! There was an appointment confirmed for a particular day and time, and a half hour after the set appointment time, we received a call asking if the appointment could be for the following day. My husband had gotten off work early for this so that was a frustration. The rep who came was late on the newly scheduled day also. It was dark outside. He went out with a flashlight, no measuring tape, to write up our estimate for a cost of a new roof. He wrote up this estimate for over a half hour and presented it to us. There was a price given for work to be done, plus another with a discount if we signed up right then and there. Thing is, we had already gotten 4 other estimates. His discounted price was DOUBLE that of ALL the other offers! After we told him this, he offered to come out on his own, out from under the nose of his employer, to do the job himself. We refused. The days following, we were harassed with multiple calls by the company as to when we would sign up for the work to be done. When my husband explained that they were an unethical, overpriced company, the owner suggested that perhaps the rep had tacked on too much personal commission, and the owner could arrange for the work to be done at a "lower price" minus the commission. In short, this company does not value your time or hold up to its promises. The employees try to undercut/backstab each other. This company, Prestige Window and Siding, tries to ream the customer and uses extreme pressure tactics. Stay far away! If you cannot resist getting a "free estimate", do your homework beforehand. But I leave the plea: Do NOT use this company. We had the estimate done months ago and I still remember all the frustrations revolving around this.

We hired Prestige because their door to door salesman happened to stop by right when we were in the market for a new roof. The salesman was friendly and didn't pressure us although we did decide to get the roof that evening because we wanted to get things done quickly. We received follow up calls about scheduling the service and financing right away and everything went through smoothly. The services were scheduled and completed within a few weeks. The only delay was the company supplying the materials failed twice to deliver them (this only ended up delaying us by a few days but it was annoying). The subcontractors who did the actual repairs were punctual and polite. They worked hard and quickly and did a lovely job (all in a working day--about 8 hours) and cleaned up well with only a few stray nails left in the driveway. The point person (Brian) at Prestige didn't call us regarding the delivery delay but was quite responsive (within an hour each time) when I called him, and able to resolve the problem. Our neighbors liked our roof enough to ask for a referral.

The work was accomplished in less than one days time. It is beautiful and I have received compliments from my neighbors. Two minor problems occurred. First, Prestige workmen forgot to leave an opening for the Comcast cable from the outside through the siding to the inside hookup. So I called Comcast who informed me that the siding workmen had failed to leave the opening through the siding to the inside hookup. Comcast drilled the opening and reestablished my cable hookup, without charging me. I had informed Prestige that if there were a charge that I would expect them to absorb the cost, which they agreed to do. Fortunately, it was unnecessary. The second minor problem is that both my front and back exterior electrical outlets were no longer functioning. I requested that Prestige investigate and fix the problem. They have agreed to do so.

They seemed to do a pretty good job and were competitively priced compared to the other people that we had talked to. We got a discount through them with our neighbor, but then, after it rained, our roof leaked in the entire bedroom. We had to climb into the attic and see where the hole was. They came back and told us it was not a hole. We then went up there again, took pictures, and sent it to them. They did fix it but it took some coercing. They never fixed the paint in our bedroom; it was from where the water came through so that was a little aggravating. They were punctual when they put the roof on.

Delivered dumpster the day before, along with all materials (shingles placed up on roof ridge) the rest on the ground. 4-man crew arrived the next morning at 7:30 am, and spread out tarps over shrubs and ground. Began removing shingles around 8:30 am (noise not a problem for neighbors). Light rain started around 2 pm, crew picked up speed, and completed job by 6:pm, then spent 1 hour on clean-up. Job was quoted to replace 3 sheets of 1/2" plywood - had 5 more (including cuts) that had to be replaced - extra charge, also extra for new sheet metal chimney. Job went very well, cost was a little high, but crew did excellent work and it looks very nice. Hopefully we won't need them again, but definitely would use again, and would highly recommend them!!!

The installation went well overall, we had a few delays due to weather and missed phone calls, but we are happy with the results.

Their representative, who seemed to be a very young kid just out of high school, came to our door and said they were in the neighborhood doing a job for someone down the street. They offered to give us a free estimate on siding, as ours isn't the newest on the block, but it also doesn't look the worst either. It was around this time that my wife noticed a cigarette butt smoking in our grass. She asked if it was his and he said it was. We would have known anyways because no one on our block smokes. She informed him that we have a young child in the house and how incredibly rude it was for him to do that. He said he figured it was more polite than walking up to our door with his lit cigarette. Seriously, this is who you send to represent your company. We asked him to pick up his cigarette and leave. Prestige definitely need to reconsider who they hire and allow to do their work.

I had been putting off roof replacement for a few years, expecting a painful (and expensive) process. Prestige allayed those concerns and while any roof replacement is not going to be cheap, I'm confident (from research and quotes) that I got the best price with the best service and end product! The Prestige Sales Representative, Mike, was extremely flexible to my schedule and made the purchasing process a breeze. He directed me through all the options and NEVER tried to up sell. Every step of the process he explained occurred exactly how it was laid out. My expectations for installation from both a timing and quality perspective were EXCEEDED. Mike quoted a two week turnaround time from order to actual installation and it was more like a week and a half. And while the installation was noted to take two to three days, it actually only took one and a half days. The team installing the roof was very well skilled and cleaned up the property well after old roof removal. My wife and I were so pleased that we had some additional, optional work done to even out the aesthetics of the roof (i.e., our roof drops over the top level of the house in some spots and we did not initially plan to replace it). In conclusion, I highly recommend Prestige Windows and Siding if you need a new roof, or even just want to inquire about a quote for a new roof. Their sales team is courteous and honest and their installation team is very skilled. Definitely a great company to work with!!

Aside from being a little pricey, the experience was good. The gentleman who came to my door was not as pushy as most door-to-door solicitors, was very knowledgable, and answered all of my questions. After giving me estimates to replace my gutters, as well as my front door and storm door, he did not try to push me when I said all I wanted at the time was the gutters. After that, the gutters were installed on time and no additional visits or adjustments were necessary. The installers took the old gutters away and did not leave any trash behind. The gutters have worked very well since being installed.

Prestige was not our first choice. We had contracted with another company, but the date of install kept getting pushed back. Called them from a flyer that was left at our home and we are so happy we did. They came when promised and did a fantastic job. The crew was courteous and professional. Cleaned up everyday, on a three day job. Answered all questions and took care of anything I was unsure of. The house is gorgeous. Neighbors came to house while the work was being done and asked for the company. I cannot be more pleased.

I looked Prestige Windows and Siding up and they completely bombed. We had them come over to the house because they came to our door and when they came to the door I looked them up on Angie's List and there's not a lot of things put on there. They're like, "Oh yeah, we're doing the people down the street house," and we happened to be friends with them and my daughter helps this old lady a lot. My daughter went down there and they showed up an hour and a half late. He had called and said that if it was okay he wasn't going to have everybody with him and it was going to be a small team. He showed up by himself to put in a patio door and he left for like an hour and a half to go to Lowes. He came back and then he ate lunch and then he had like acid reflux or something from that. I talked to this lady again yesterday and she told me he was at the place he was having a heart attack and my daughter was there. She came home and she told me what was going on so I emailed him and said if you're trying to impress me this isn't the way to do it. Apparently they showed this guy the email, so the next day they go to this lady's house and give her the cold shoulder and they hardly spoke to her compared to the day before. She had made him lunch and she was like, "What's going on? What's the difference between yesterday and today?" He said the email. She's like I didn't send an email and he called my daughter at 5:00. The guy called me back on the 30th like he was supposed to and supposedly he's a preacher and he continued to call my daughter a spy and I said, "You know what I don't care whether your job is done well or not. I can't handle somebody who's going to be so rude and if you have a complaint come to me about my email and don't harass the old lady." This lady had her husband die in the last year, a dog that had a health issue, and these guys are going to come in there and be like that with her. When I talked to her yesterday she told me there's still a problem with her front door. There's a gap and she called this guy like four weeks ago and he was like, "I'm on vacation" and he hasn't called her back since. They had the nerve to show up at my door again saying, "We're Prestige and we're in the neighborhood," and I'm like, "No, go away." The problem is we need financing and this other guy, Jim Bob, seems good but he doesn't have financing. We want to go with this guy but we have to find out the price and try to find financing ourselves and that was the only benefit that I would've seen with Prestige. We were really disappointed. We were impressed with the guy when he came to the house but then of course they got snagged and didn't like it. The price was half decent. The back of the house needs siding and he had priced everything, the deck, the back of the house, and the upstairs and the downstairs floors for the whole house. The house was built in '74 and it has the original tile but even at that point they said only $32,000, so I should have known something was up then. The big deck is like $10,000 and you're talking about the deck that has no maintenance. It looks like it's some kind of a plastic but it's not really plastic. It's like wood enclosed in plastic or something like that, but it was something that you could do the bottom of the deck but you couldn't do the sides of deck and you had to have different stuff for the sides. Their work was shoddy and the only thing that was really good was the initial visit with the price and that was it. It turned out the guy that showed up at my house was two-faced because he's the one that also agreed that my daughter was a spy when she called me back. He invited us to go down to her house and check it out and they thought we'd show up after the work was done and they didn't realize when we said we were friends, we were friends. She knew my daughter since she went to grade school and she's thirteen now, so that was not a good move on their part. She was there through all of that, so this is not hearsay. She was with the lady the whole time and they couldn't pay me to have them come work on my house. It's all about the integrity and I really don't care what kind of good work you do if you're not a good person and you don't talk to me nice and you don't treat people nice. I have to know that I can trust them and that does not give me any idea that I can and if I can't trust them how do I know what I'm looking at is the real thing and not something that looks great.

The new roof is lovely and exactly what I was looking for. However, the original roof I selected was no longer available or not available in this area or something. Instead of just notifying me and having me reselect or cancel, the company attempted to install an inferior roof, stating that this is what I had ordered. I naturally freaked out, and after a month of screaming on the phone, threats of lawsuits on both sides, a beautiful new roof was installed. Thus - NOT PROFESSIONAL.

Our roof was nearing the end of its life span and the house trim was showing its age. Two years ago we pursued the roof replacement but went through contractor h*** in getting three quotes because to get to that point you had to tolerate the strong arm sales pitch. We tossed one well known company out after an hour and a half with no end in site. I am experienced in construction and I did not need a refresher course just the price and what am I getting. In a discussion with a coworker on the subject he suggested I talk to Prestige as he had his roof replaced by them the week before and the price and workmanship were both excellent. Turns out he used them from his friends recommendation. I set up an appointment with them and told the salesman I did not want "the pitch" and he was very low key, answered our questions and we came to an agreement quickly. The lowest price I had gotten two years ago was twice what Prestige was asking. $7,900 for 32 squares with a complete tear off. The job was scheduled, 2 weeks after the contract was signed, and it went flawlessly. The crew showed up on time, very friendly, they had all the materials they needed and they finished on time. They did it right, drip edge, flashing and ridge vents. We have a large chimney, 4 vents, 1 stove vent, 2 stacks and a skylight. They put in all new flashing and stepped flashed the skylight and fireplace, something a lot of roofers shortcut. Since the roof turned out so well I entered into a contract with them to change out the soffit, facia, shutters, siding and gutters. They agreed to do this for $7,500 again a price much less then previous quotes. It was a different crew but we received the same results an excellent job. They installed 160 feet of gutter, soffit and facia, 4 down spouts,150 sq. ft. of siding, 2 vents and 9 shutters. Overall we could not be more pleased with the workmanship and price.

Prestige called me at 1:30pm the day that they were supposed to meet me at 2pm. They asked if my spouse would be here during the estimate. I said no. I can make the decisions and bring her in later if I like their ideas. Then they wanted to reschedule to a time when my wife would be here. I said I had set aside this time with them. I had set aside time with Prestige to talk to them and hear their ideas on doors and I told them I had other contractors who I was getting ideas and estimates from also and couldn't really reschedule due to my valuable time. They politely said, they were sorry they couldn't help me. I am not happy with the time they made me waste. First they wasted my time when the marketer came by the door telling me about Prestige and taking me away from some time with my wife. Then they wasted my time when I spent the day thinking they were coming to do an estimate but didn't. If I had at least known that the day their marketer came to the door that they needed my wife there, I would have said, no thanks and I would have been enjoying my time at a park in the beautiful weather today.
